Classic, moist vanilla cake layered with creamy frosting and a hint of nostalgia in every bite.

"This place has some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten. The fried calamari is perfectly fried, and the basil aioli was such a beautiful compliment to the wonderfully acidic marinara. I got the risotto with veal sausage and was blown away by how tasty this dish was. Everything was balances and each ingredient perfectly seasoned and prepared. Finally we ended the night on the homemade tiramisu. This tiramisu was so well made and light, I was stunned. All of this, was hard to fully appreciate for the following reasons. The atmosphere in this space is DATED. I felt like I was in the late 80's and it wasn't the fun 80's. The interior is old and looks generally bizarre for the year 2023. The service was an experience within itself. We couldn't order lemon wedges and had a difficult time getting seated. The waiting room before the restaurant was barren and uncomfortable and the host had no idea we were waiting to be seated for like 15 minutes. The table service was also super bizarre as we had a hard time communicating to any of the 3 staff(all waiters/waitresses that came to our table. I loved the food. I was surprised by how good the food was (the bread was also giving me store bought vibes- not sure it was fresh. I don't know how a place like this isn't packed but im assuming it's the staffing and decor. If you have the patience this place is 100% worth a try."

"The best Italian restaurant in California! Truly the greatest of all time. This place is the undeniable king of Italian dining, the rightful heir to the culinary throne, and the protector of all that is delicious. It’s a legitimate establishment—one of the largest family-run businesses in the history of family businesses. They deliver an extraordinary dining experience, and they are the originals. It's truly remarkable and breathtaking. The food is divine, I swear by both the old gods and the new. As Ray Hudson famously said: “It’s magic.”"

"Perfect lunch @segafredomiami they have the original Bruschetta on the menu but also the Bruschetta Avocado, something like the italian version of an Avocado Toast. It was toasted country bread, cherry tomatoes, brie cheese and avocado, just delicious For more of my favorite restaurants, places and more, like my Facebook page Naddia’s Favorites or follow me on Instagram @naddias_favorites"

"I must've tried half the menu by now, between dining in and UberEats. There's not a single thing I've tried that I wouldn't order again, but the appetizer polenta salsicciq (sausage ragu) is the dish that always keeps calling my name when I return. The owner even recognized me after only my second time dining in, with over a month between visits. This place has quickly become my new favorite restaurant at this price point, and it outperforms many restaurants at higher price points. Also, I almost never order dessert but I will ALWAYS order the affogato al caffe if I am dining in. Try it if you haven't already! -EDIT- Oh by the way, the Tuesday date night is such a deal!! I went there for the first time for that menu and it's what got me hooked."

"This Italian restaurant/terrazza is very authentic, simple, and family-friendly, offering a beautiful selection of colorful and tasty pasta dishes. The salad was delicious and refreshing, although the Gorgonzola cheese was a bit too salty for my taste. The service was excellent, attentive but not overbearing, and very friendly. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The standout for me was the olive oil that was brought to me to dip my bread in – it was the strongest, richest, and most intense oil I have had in this country, with a freshly squeezed and minimally filtered taste that I absolutely loved. If you're in the area and looking for a quick, satisfying meal, this is the place to go."

"We stumbled into this restaurant one night, not expecting much since it was the only place open nearby, but it completely blew us away! The food was incredible—truly the best I’ve ever tasted—and the owner made the experience even more special. I was on a birthday trip and had initially planned to visit just once, but we ended up going back multiple times. It quickly became the highlight of our day. I wish I could remember the owner's name because he really made my friend and me feel like part of his family. And I must mention, I'm absolutely in love with the sangria and cannolis!"

"My husband and I ate dinner there last night, July 18. I have a few comments that may resonate with reality vs perception. First up the breadbasket was “toasted white bread” with flavored butter and cheese. Not the greatest but edible. Second, the salad that comes with your $38.00 entree is nothing to write home about. The lettuce was chopped up like coleslaw and had very little in it (no tomatoes, onions, etc) with flavorless dressing. Next up, veal Marsala was not tender (could not even cut it with a knife), smothered in a thick too heavy gravy brown sauce although the mushrooms were tasty. Lastly, two watered down cocktails were $26.00 which was absurd. Lastly, when I got the bill, I had additional “extra charges” on the bill that were not even my charges! The overall experience was poor to a failing grade for A LOT OF MONEY! With tip, the bill was $168.00 for two people! Quite absurd! Will not be going back there anytime soon no mater what “perception” other folks have of the place!"

"we had Isabelle she was great We had the caesar salad that was perfect. Great bartender and amazing wine list it was wine wednesday so the restaurant offers a great discount on wines under $100 a bottle. The pasta was perfect and the grilled asparagus with their delicious olive oil and sea salt were enough to make us go back tomorrow The only suggestion was that our entrees came 5 minutes apart which was unusual. Will return soon with family and friends for sure hidden gem for sure"

"A good experience. We were positively surprised since we had not looked at reviews, nor were we aware of the good reviews, we simply chose it while walking....there was free space on the terrace and we decided to sit down. The food was excellent (starter, pasta, lasagna, salad, dessert) we tried several things since we didn't feel like eating pizza and We liked everything we ordered a lot, both in terms of flavor and quality and preparation. The staff is very friendly at all times and willing to answer any questions."

"We each enjoyed a glass of red wine— I had the Chianti and my wife chose the Zinfandel. Both wines were enjoyable, though the large, thick-stemmed glasses didn't provide the refined experience typically associated with fine wine glasses. We began our meal with a walnut arugula salad that featured a nice light dressing, although it was a bit on the salty side and had an abundance of blue cheese. I was excited to see whole wheat pasta on the menu, which is a rarity, but unfortunately, they were out of it during our visit. Instead, I opted for the vegetarian pasta served on angel hair, which came with a light olive oil sauce and a good variety of vegetables. My wife ordered meatballs with linguini and was also very satisfied with her choice. The desserts were perhaps the highlight of our meal. I had the tiramisu, and I've tried many versions before, but theirs was light, flavorful, and had a wonderful coffee essence. The standout for me was the caramel gelato, which had an intense caramel flavor and a wonderfully dense texture, quite unlike the typical gelato experience."

"The service, food, and atmosphere at this restaurant are all excellent. It is definitely one of the best restaurants in Boca Raton. The kitchen is very flexible, providing half portions of almost all dishes so you can sample a variety of options. Patrick was a fantastic waiter!"

"Amazing food and service as always. Espresso Martini, to kick it off. Frittura Mista Di Mare, an exceptional appetizer. Branzino Al Forno, cooked to perfection. Tortino Al Cioccolato, just the right amount of sweetness and chocolate. Lombardi restaurants never let you down."

"My family has been frequenting Pastina for 30 years now. We used to live in the neighborhood and would visit at least once a week. Even though we now live further away, Pastina is still a go-to spot for our family. It has become a staple for us, whether dining in or getting takeout. It's also a favorite of our parents, who are from New York and appreciate good Italian food. The food at Pastina is always delicious, especially the chicken parmesan, penne alla vodka, and chicken cacciatore. And don't get me started on the bread - it's amazing! Whatever your favorite dish may be, Pastina probably has it and does it better than most places. The service is friendly and helpful, and the owner always goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and at home. We are so grateful that Pastina has been around for all these years, and we will continue to visit for special occasions or just a random night out. It never disappoints!"

"Lemon bar was dry and the fruit slice that was placed on top created more mush then was needed. We also got the iced vanilla latte and an ice London fog tea latte but none of the woman working knew how to make it iced and had to change the tea in order to do so even though that is not necessary. When asked if I was ready to order I replied ?I think so? and one of the older woman mocked me under her breath and laughed when I said this. This I was my first and definitely last experience here."
