"What a fantastic and surprising discovery on our drive back from Dinosaur Valley State Park! The chicken with green sauce was absolutely delicious and just what we needed. The atmosphere brought back memories of my favorite restaurant in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. The service was friendly, and the dishes were incredibly fresh. This is definitely our favorite Mexican restaurant find in years! I’d give it 20 stars if I could! Wow!"

"I went to Taqueria Taxco to give them a chance, fuel city is overrated. The food was good! I love that they give you grilled onions and their green sauces are official. The red sauce was a bit too spicy for my liking. With all that being said I wouldn’t recommend this place if you aren’t of Hispanic or Spanish speaking descent. The lady at the front with glasses looked at me and kept doing whatever it was she was doing. No acknowledgment of my presence at all. It wasn’t until a guy from the back came up that she unwillingly took my order. Customer service is horrible. Still on the hunt, hate it because the tacos are good. But I refuse to spend more money at a place that doesn’t acknowledge my presence."

"This place serves the most delicious, crispy quesabirrias I've ever had. Without a doubt, no other quesabirrias can compare. The meat is bursting with flavor and incredibly juicy. The consomé is delightful, and the best part is that these quesabirrias aren't greasy like those from other places. I highly recommend giving them a try!"

"This hidden gem offers affordable authentic Mexican food that always seems to hit the spot for me. From the moment you drive or walk up you are greeted with kindness which never hurts. It is conveniently next to shopping… so any excuse to grab a taco (or more on the way home from getting essentials at Walmart, Marshalls, and it’s also by two fitness facilities. (That would be a great excuse to get a taco. I’ve ordered large orders and small orders and they can always handle what my needs are. The food is made fresh and it’s delicious! My personal favorite are the Mulita’s… no one in town can make them as delicious as they do! I do peek inside little spots like this when I can and from what I can tell the kitchen is clean, which is important to me. If there was a down side it would just be the traffic… but this is Moses Lake. Let’s be real. Traffic to us is spending 10 minutes to get somewhere across town instead of 5 minutes during the busier parts of the day. Love this place."

"I visit this restaurant two to three times a month for my fix of Mexican food. The food is delicious and incredibly authentic, which is why I keep coming back. However, the service is severely lacking, earning it zero stars in my book. Today, I waited 55 minutes for my food to come out, and it's typically a 30-40 minute wait due to the slow kitchen. The staff seem like robots and could definitely do a better job. The manager doesn't seem to care that the service is slow and that orders are not being followed. I am so frustrated that I felt compelled to write this review. Despite there being over a dozen employees, it seems like no one takes responsibility for the poor service."

"The food at this restaurant was freshly prepared and served hot. We tried the delicious birria tacos with consome, as well as the perfectly executed tacos dorados de papa. The creme brulee we had for dessert was also delightful. The service provided by the young lady attending to us was friendly, patient, and attentive. We visited around 6:30pm on a Monday and it was not too busy, with only one other small party in the restaurant and a few DoorDash pickups. We look forward to returning to try more items on the menu!"

I don't know what the deal is with Mexican restaurants and their prices, but always really expensive and those prices I'm talking about was before covid to check these needs. now the tacos were decent they control them for extra I mean really controlling them. Also ordered the carna asda steak was not tender as it should be and the portion size was small .food was tasty but must skip this place and recommend checking a place that is in one of the food shops."

"My search for the best menudo in Houston continues, and I was quite disappointed with this particular dish. The menudo was overcooked and didn’t include any pig feet. The corn tortillas weren’t homemade, and overall, it lacked the necessary spices and oregano. We also tried the pork tamales, which were undercooked. However, the barbacoa taco was exceptional. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and our coffee mugs were always full."
