"I don’t usually like to leave negative reviews, but unfortunately this experience will leave an indelible mark in my mind. Service was horrendous and they brought out half the food 30 minutes earlier than the other half. Drinks were forgotten and other items had to be asked for multiple times. The food itself was decent but was overshadowed by bad service. As a former food service professional: look, I get it. Big parties are stressful and mistakes happen. I also recognize that December is a wild time for Palm Springs and that is also stressful. But I think the mistakes crossed the line for me and it came to a point where I felt like staff didn’t care about us. Please keep this in mind for future guests."

"Pennie was our waitress and she was kind and welcoming and provided decent service. The environment in the restaurant area was loud. Chips were great and perfectly salted. Salsa was ok but nothing to talk about. Honestly the restaurant feels like a couple of caucasians got together and thought they could open a Mexican food restaurant. My wife got the grilled chicken because she said it was the “whitest” dish on the menu. She said it was good. I got the Asada burro. The rice and beans on my plate were more enjoyable than the burrito. The size of the burrito was very disappointing. For $20.00 I expect a much larger burrito. It was smaller than the length of my hand and was not fat. Probably will not return the next time we are in the west Valley."

"I have been here twice. I love this place. You can either dine outside under the tent or inside...your choice. We sat inside and were greeted at the door. The staff was super nice. When we were seated our drink order was taken right away and they brought fresh hot chips and salsa. The chips are light and crispy...absolutely delicious They have so many things to choose from on their menu. We came at happy hour one day and lunch another day. During happy hour which is from 3-6 daily...they serve house margaritas for 4 and 5 dollars...and a few appetizers for a low price too. I ordered the happy hour carnita nachos with everything...it cost 6.00. The plate size is a pretty small plate...but plenty of food...its loaded with meat of choice...cheese...Pico...guac...sour cream..beans which are so good. I loved the nachos so much I ordered them the second time I came. Their happy hour margaritas are really good...and they are not like some places where they skimp on the alcohol...shoot they are strong. If your looking for a nice atmosphere...wonderful friendly staff...great food...this place is a must try... Happy eating..."

"What a shame to Mexican cuisine. The food lacked visual appeal and simply tasteless. Had the Chicken Mole and it was serve with white rise ?. The Chicken was dry and hard with a crisp bitebto it and the mole was kinda old looking and the taste was horrible. The steak salad was also bad. The Carne Asada was overcooked, almost charcoal looking and appears that they don't marinate to give it that Carne Asada taste. It was so bad we didn't eat either. The drinks however were goot. I guess that's a good thing when combining with bad food. Juat have a few drinks before eating so your not able to remember what the food taste like.If you've never had authentic Mexican food then you probably won't know the difference in taste and you may actually enjoy this place. However those of us that grew up in a Mexican household, this food is simply embarrassing to our culture. Just because you make it look trendy, doesn't mean it taste great. I recomend you hire a Doña to show you how to truly prepare Mexican Dishes because this is simply not cutting it."

"Food was decent, nothing spectacular, but service was horrible. We were seated and about 5 minutes after we were brought chips and salsa. No drink orders were taken. After another 20 minutes we were finally approached by our server. After eating most of the chips and salsa, we finally got drinks. Our food came out quickly, but we didn’t have silverware. I had asked repeatedly for silverware and after the 2nd time asking, our server finally brought some out. We were checked up on once during our meal but were never brought another salsa cup like we had asked for. Our server didn’t come with the check for another 10-15 minutes after we finished eating. I am very disappointedin the service we received here and will not be back."

"Another major concern is that many of the dishes, whether they contain meat or vegetables, are quite salty, which can sometimes make them dry. We don't typically cook with a lot of salt at home, so I initially thought it might just be us. However, when I compared it to restaurants like Lolita's, Roberto's, Cotija, and Cotixan, I found that their dishes are still saltier. My wife ordered a potato taco and could barely get through half of it on another occasion (usually, she finishes her food), and it seems that they aren't really interested in feedback. Despite these issues, as I mentioned, the food is decent most of the time. The service was fine, not overly attentive, but sufficient. The ordering process was pretty quick."

"we sat fast and the service was good. we ordered the fajita burrito and carne asada plate and two children's meals afteros. the carne asada was coarse meat, seemed to be boiled too long on too low heat, so seemed baked instead of supposed. pretty sure that the salsa served with chips is literally enchilada sauce from a dose. the fried beans taste as if they were heated directly from a dose. the fajita burrito was not bad, but not what hoped. it is not just a big fajita in a burrito size tortilla with guacamole and acidic seeing that I hoped...instead of it fajita meat and vegetables alone, served with doses enchilada sauce poured. the enchilada advertised as a cheese and sway, had no wobble. what the reason was that it was as its rare to find restaurants that actually add wobbles. overall, eating was not delicious and not worth the price at all. it's not like the South Reno los compadres."

"The food, beverages and service were excellent, and our table in the back looked into the garden...too bad it was a little chilly to dine outside. The only drawback was the noise level as there does not appear to be any soft surfaces to reduce the noise. "I stopped to eat in this area and was greeted by a sweet gentleman at the front with a beautiful smile who took my order. He told me it was just a matter of waiting. I expected it might take a while, but just a few minutes later, he returned with the same lovely smile and a bag containing my order. The aromas in the car were amazing, and we were all very hungry. Everyone loved the taste of the food. The beans were made just like abuelita would make, and the enchilada sauce (not from a can) was rich and flavorful, perfectly seasoned for my son. The crushed beef tacos were absolutely delicious—no complaints at all. It was a great experience for everyone, and I've definitely saved this place in my favorites!"
