"Oh my God!! I was eating my taco with hot salsa and everything on it. When I got down to the last couple bites there was no also or cheese on it,,,,just the meat. I put it up to my mouth to eat it and the odor was horrible!!! The ground beef was rancid!! Itwas rotten and I had eaten almost all of it. Naturally, I was ill after that until it moved out of my body! The guacamole wasslimmy!! It had lettuce in it that was so old and limp,,it wasn't edible. We won't be back and it's a shame. The waiter a veryhard working man,,a Mexican man is having to work very hard cause of no help."

"Food was decent, nothing spectacular, but service was horrible. We were seated and about 5 minutes after we were brought chips and salsa. No drink orders were taken. After another 20 minutes we were finally approached by our server. After eating most of the chips and salsa, we finally got drinks. Our food came out quickly, but we didn’t have silverware. I had asked repeatedly for silverware and after the 2nd time asking, our server finally brought some out. We were checked up on once during our meal but were never brought another salsa cup like we had asked for. Our server didn’t come with the check for another 10-15 minutes after we finished eating. I am very disappointedin the service we received here and will not be back."

"Eagle River location. Horrible service. Expect to be nickle and dimed. I ordered the chimichanga, pictured below, it was pretty decent with the exception of the queso side. A few flakes of shredded cheese vs queso. When I asked if they would actually put cheese on it they brought out a small cup of cheese AND THEN charged me $2.99 for what should have already been on top of my meal. Waitress seemed to not want to be bothered with refilling our water glasses, etc. Pro tip to the owners if they even read these reviews chips and salsa is a nice, expected touch from a Mexican restaurant but serving them with a church sized communion cup of salsa not so much. Stop being so cheap. I have to imagine the average patron spends $20 to $25 per person. With that provide better service, stop being so cheap on the extras, and drive some quality control from the meals your kitchen staff is sending to the tables. With that you might win my business back. As of now and without some major improvement the most recent $65 I spent last Sunday for me and my wife will be my last. One more thing and this probably isn 't your issue BUT having ONE handicapped spot in the entire complex is a joke."

"The food was bland as Americanized Mexican food usually is (highly uneventful). Garcia's Cantina Cafe in Eagle River is the exception! The waitress possibly was hurried. She brought us refill drinks, but I didn't request a refil and didn't want a refill of the same thing (Raspberry Tea) and requested an alcoholic beverage (Margarita), but she rushed off after bringing the refills of Tea. I said something to get her attention, she glanced back as to look at me but continued on, so I called her a second time louder. "Everything I tasted was absolutely delicious. The calamari was flawlessly fried and wonderfully flaky, the flan had a distinct flavor that I can't wait to experience again, and the fettuccine alfredo was the best I've ever had (and since it's my favorite dish, I order it quite often). The ambiance was classy with elegant walls, ceilings, and booths, and the service was friendly. All our food arrived quickly and was served piping hot. We will definitely return!"

"Came here for dinner and my first impression is that this would be a great place to go after work or with a group of people. The restaurant is set up with large tables and different rooms. The atmosphere is loud and friendly. It was a nice evening and the large windows were wide open to the street, giving a nice semi-outdoor feel. There's also a patio to eat outside should the mood strike. Most of the menu is tapas-style. The food is a bit on the expensive side, so plan to spend around $25 per person not including drinks if you do tapas all around. The two of us had chicharron chicken, chicken enchiladas, and the butter lettuce salad. The chicharron was grilled perfectly with the delicious sauce--very tasty. We should have ordered a fourth dish because I was still a bit hungry when we left. The staff gave us very friendly and attentive service with a smile."
