"This place is way over-hyped. We arrived to our reservation, super excited to try out (what looked to be) cool food and drinks, and were so let down. Upon sitting down at our waitress came to our table and flat out told us that she couldn’t serve us and that we had to leave because we weren’t yet. The restaurants website said that they began carding and the hostess didn’t mention it when I asked placing the reservation. Not only that, but there were MULTIPLE families with young children who came in behind us that were being served....We drove forever to get here and that rude waitress refused to even let us sit. It was my friends (the rest of us turn in the next month) and he was SO let down. What a complete waste! Never going back even when I do turn terrible service and not worth the cheap prices."

"we went with friends and we all had great meals. that was delicious. two of us had the barria tacos. omg amazing. in any case they would order again. another had the chicken tacos and the carnitas, also great. we started with the ceviche (compachane) and the homemade chips. excellent. the Pol’Kanes was also delicious. first we were thrown by the zimtreis, but not his-it is not sweet at all and it was a perfect compliment for the spicy. some reviews mentioned the popcorn was strange, but we loved that too and the season is authentic to yucatán. we had margaritas, who were in front of places and tried some of the tequilas. the service was super friendly and attentive. they weren't slow and the pace was just perfect. I would highly recommend and we will be safe again!"
