"Standard diner, nothing particularly notable about the anesthetics or decor run of the mill in that regard. The staff and owners are what stand out at this establishment. Went there with my two kids and they enjoyed the staff's especially our waitress's hospitality and attention. The family feel of whole experience prompted me to order a vanilla egg cream which I had not had in about 30 years. The one area I would ask management to address is the spartan condition of the restrooms. Pretty minor considering the other factors that make this a great go to place in Bay Ridge."

"The delivery person was quite rude. Earlier that day, someone had stolen a package from my home, so I was being extra cautious about who was at my door, even though I was expecting my order. He kept repeating "delivery," and I asked him three times where it was from. Then he huffed out, "Delivery? Or no delivery?" Eventually, he mentioned it was from Casa Calamari. They only gave me one meatball, but I have to say, the meatball and ravioli were both very good. I also enjoyed the chocolate cake, which was quite delicious."

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case."

"The meal for lunch was hot, fresh, and delicious! I ordered the lemon sole and was thrilled to see that they served real sole instead of substituting with Tilapia like some other places do. The restaurant was small, cozy, and clean. The food was extremely enjoyable. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. I was initially hesitant to try this place because I've had bad experiences with diner food in the past, but I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be coming back again. Also, the beef barley soup that came with my meal was delicious."

"I was not impressed with this restaurant. The pizza was okay, but the vegetables were unevenly cooked and some parts were bitter. It was also lacking in flavor, but easily remedied with some salt, pepper, and chili flakes. The disappointment came with the fettuccine al pesto - while the pasta was good, the pesto was missing and the dish was overly oily. As vegetarians, I requested for the chicken to be removed, but it seems like that request was not properly accommodated. Since this was an online order, I can't comment on the ambiance, but overall, this experience was enough to deter me from ordering from here again."

"Some places don’t need reviews so here goes nothing We were so excited to finally try it here $50 later, we came home to a misshaped pie, which looks like they took two halves of slices they had readily available. Very disappointing. The saving grace was that it tastes delicious, I just wish it was fresh. After a 20 minute car ride, there’s no reason it should have been dead. Beyond that, good pie once it was heated up. Unfortunate that it looks like some corners were cut. Margherita pie was very good."

"Wow this place was underwhelming at best! We had ordered food for Christmas day and wow it was awful. Sauteed chicken was entirely devoid of flavor. Gnochchi was like eating balls of plastic glued to a sauce. Their sausage was Pathmark managers special quality at best on a good day. Even their bread rolls were terrible! I 'm not sure how you can mess up bread rolls. I wish I had made dinner myself. $170 for poor food. I 'm honestly amazed how bad it was. Oh by the way if you need reference, they charged $8 PER ORDER of grilled vegetables. All they did was toss in some barely cooked broccoli, carrots and zucchini. See attached image) Me and my family will never be going back to this place as honestly it was awful. I wouldn 't even give this food to my dog I actually respect him) Save yourself the effort and time, go to aljons in west windsor or Plainsboro or even Romeo 's in Plainsboro. Capuanos is not worth your business I promise."

I gathered some friends and brought along 2 bottles of our favorite white wine. My sister, who is a vegetarian, had plenty of options to choose from, including a delicious pizza. It was fantastic! "We were once regular customers at this restaurant, coming almost every two weeks. Typically, we were treated well and served delicious food by the owner and his wife, who is the cook. However, during our recent visit, we encountered their son who was immature and disrespectful. My family and cousins, who had traveled a long way to dine here, were disappointed when one of my cousins found the lobster ravioli to be hard and unappetizing. When we asked to switch it for cheese ravioli, the server, who was very kind, informed us that the owner would agree to replace the dish but would not remove it from the bill. This surprised us, as we were regular customers and had always enjoyed our meals in the past. When we asked the manager for an explanation, he was extremely rude and refused to accommodate our request. As someone who works in the food industry, I believe that it is important to respond with kindness and respect to all situations. This manager showed a lack of care for customer satisfaction and only seemed concerned with money. If I were the owner, I would immediately remove him from his position before he drives away more loyal customers. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant again due to the disrespectful behavior of the manager, despite the fact that the server, chef, and owner themselves are wonderful."

"The food was excellent, but our first delivery experience was less than ideal. I provided clear instructions for finding our apartment, yet the driver commented, “don’t put so many instructions next time!” During our next online order, we were charged, only to receive a phone call stating that our order was canceled because it was outside their delivery area, which was not true, as they had delivered to us before. The food is good, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We won't be returning."

"Have eaten here several times. Was surprised that with a reservation we were still sitting at a booth looking into the kitchen. We could have asked to be moved, but we didn't want to. The waiter was very enthusiastic, but failed to fill glasses of water without being asked. My husband's lasagna was a huge brick in the middle of an unadorned plate. A little salad or something green and crispy would have been nice. Not an à la carte fan, especially when it comes to the price of the main course alone. The room was very dark and a bit noisy. I would ask not to sit in this area another time."

"I recently needed to find a restaurant that could deliver food to my friend’s house after a family loss. While searching online for nearby options, I discovered Antonella's, which is just three miles away. When I called, Emily was exceptionally kind and helpful in assisting me with my order. She recommended the Baked Cheese Tortellini with meat sauce and Mozzarella cheese, along with their antipasto salad. I also decided to order a tray of garlic knots based on their suggestion. When the food arrived, my sister-in-law took some photos, and everything looked absolutely delicious. The next day, my brother called to tell me that Antonella's food was their favorite of all the meals brought to the house, and they even wanted to know where it was from! A huge thank you to Antonella's for the delicious food and to Emily for her kindness, patience, and excellent recommendations."
