"This is a newly discovered jewel. We came many years ago, but it's a bit far from home. After the Mexican restaurants in the highlands were a bit boring, we decided to go back. So glad we did. My brother had Carne asada fajitas. He loved her and said the onion was perfectly cooked and the beef was tasteful and well seasoned. I had Carnitas Tacos. They were pretty good, but a little too much tortilla. They were doubled, but very thick. Good texture and taste and I think they are homemade. The pork roast was delicious and I would try something else with the pork. The atmosphere is bright, clean and the dinning room is large and good with stands and table and chair options, as well as outdoor seats. The service is excellent, server friendly and professional. Both times that we have recently come has been for lunch."

"My brother recommended this place to me, but I think this will be my first and last time eating at this restaurant. I tried to place an order for my family using a third-party app called Kaviar. I ordered an enchilada combination plate for $12.99, a carne asada burrito for $13.99, and 3 ground beef crispy tacos. However, when I went to pick up my order, the price had increased from $46 to $65. I questioned the manager about the price difference, and she explained that the prices were higher when ordering directly from the restaurant. I found this confusing, as the prices on the app were cheaper. The tacos I ordered were soggy, but my friend enjoyed his burrito. The chips were stale and lacked salt. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant."

"Went with family for my aunt’s birthday. No one was at the host station to seat us and when someone did come it was one of the waiters. After a few minutes we got the salsa and chips. However, as we are waiting there was constant singing. I don’t mindlive entertainment but it seemed like the band was playing to almost every table. Fifteen to 20 more minutes pass by and thewaiter comes by to get our drinks. When the drinks finally come, only two come because the iced tea is “freshly brewed”.Both drinks are watered down. As the waiter takes our order we feel a sense of being rushed? And forget about asking anyquestions pertaining to the dish you want, it won’t really be answered. We eventually decided to walk out after waiting foranother twenty minutes(the place was NOT packed at all and the other drinks STILL had not come out yet. As we are about to walkaway the waiter states our food is “almost done” “it’s already done” and we ask for it to go. He clearly packs it uphurriedly so we can pay and go. DO NOT PAY WITH CARD! We read that they like to dip in and take tip amounts off your card whenthey feel like it. Anyways, my mother’s food was cold (how when you claimed it was just made? fried calamari shouldn’t becold… the food didn’t smell right from the bag, the beans looked terrible and cold. We won’t be coming here again. Just goto Cast Iron down the way!!"

"I recently had the best steak I've had in a long time at this restaurant. It was cooked perfectly, flavorful, tender, and reasonably priced. The only issue was that it was served on a cold plate, so it cooled down quickly before reaching the table. If they could address that one issue, it would easily be a five-star experience."

"I want to clarify that my rating may not reflect the restaurant's specialties. The place was consistently busy, with a flow of customers coming in as others left. To be fair, most of the customers were Caucasian. I ordered the Vuelve a la Vida cocktail (a seafood cocktail), but it lacked flavor and presentation, and there was no way to adjust it. I’ve never seen a raw oyster expand like a pillow in a cocktail before. Perhaps I should have chosen something else, as everyone around me seemed to be enjoying their meals. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was friendly. It seems I just picked the wrong dish. I would be willing to return and try something different, so I don't want to discourage anyone. Overall, my review is quite honest."

"I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. Honestly, I believe my children could have prepared better meals than what we were served. It felt like a complete waste of both time and money. What troubled me even more was seeing the owner's young children playing in the kitchen, right next to hot pots and pans. That seemed incredibly unsafe, and I was shocked. The food was mediocre at best, but witnessing those kids in such a dangerous setting was even more concerning. I genuinely think this situation needs to be reported to the relevant authorities. I would never allow my own children to be in such a hazardous environment, and this is simply unacceptable. I plan to contact Child Protective Services and express my worries about the food quality to local health authorities as well."

"I ordered the burrito bowl with pernil and a side of veggies. First let me say that the pernil was so on point, it tasted just like home. It was juicy, well seasoned, and the olive flavor really came through. The rice was also pretty good. I was a little disappointed that my meal didn't have beans, nor pico di gallo like the description for the order said. I was excited that veggies was a nutritious option as a side and it came with a nice variety of steamed broccoli, spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms. However, the veggies were bland and wet and could be elevated with some butter and/or garlic and a touch of salt+pepper. Overall it was a great experience, and I really value their inclusion of Puerto Rican cuisine because you can't find that just anywhere in NJ. I'll be ordering here again!"

"My partner and I were really pleased with our meal from Lilia's! We opted for a night in and decided to use Uber Eats for delivery instead of dining out. I'm so glad we did because our food arrived fresh and quickly! We ordered a Fajita Burrito, Enchiladas Rancheras, Raspberry Chimis, and Churros. I loved how beautifully everything was presented, and the portion sizes were generous considering the price for such delicious food. Overall, I highly recommend checking this place out! I definitely plan to bring my friends and family here to eat in the future. I was also impressed by the wide variety of dishes available for delivery!"

"I stayed here for Sunday dinner on the way to Arkansas and I am so glad I did it! The place is a casual, family-friendly restaurant with amazing food. Everything was fresh, tasty and fast, although they were very busy (the staff was great, friendly and attentive). I had the chickens and they were so good! "Not impressed. They were busy but we were sat quickly. And the server was friendly and nice. Took a long time for someone to come and bring water, our salsa was not refilled even when we asked for some more. When our order arrived I think we were all a bit disappointed. The food didn’t seem fresh, it wasn’t very flavorful and over all not what we expected. We ordered the steak fajitas and they came out warm, but most of the onions were uncooked and raw. The pico that came with the fajitas had an odor to it that seemed off and sadly the rice was hard and dry like it had been sitting out. We did order a margarita which came out very strong and that was nice. We will not be coming back."
