"Food could be improved. The butter was not salted, the food felt assembly line/pre-made out of the kitchen. However you serve a large number of people. Also-I really hated the bathroom is not in the restaurant. The server and manager were fantastic. I could not say enough about their kindness. I had a third person show up I wasn’t expecting and they were able to accommodate, which was extremely nice. I would come back for coffee and a snack, but not a meal."

"Cannot come here without ordering the escargot--it's amazing with the made-in-house bread! The duck leg confit is also so delicious, as is their steak frites. Slowly becoming a regular here thanks to my partner and the quality of food, alongside the service, has always been consistently great in all my times coming here. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. This restaurant manages to pair sophistication with a warmth friendliness that creates a comfortable experience for fancy or more casual dining."

"Really disappointed in the whole experience. I realize the hotel restaurant is under construction but the pop up lacks in everything. No ambience, the service was poor and the food did not live up to expectations. We ordered a meat and cheese charcuterie board that was $38 and my 15 year old son could have put together something far better than what we received. Breton crackers, the smallest pieces of cheese that was not identified to us, it looked like it was put together with the most minimal amount of effort and care. The cheese rolls were very small and presented oddly on a small side plate instead of being kept warm in a basket. When the server asked us if everything was ok because we really didn’t each much of the cheese board I mentioned how really disappointing it was. He seemed to take offence and make excuses. The only remedy was a free dessert I feel they should have credited the board. I would not dine there again."

"We truly enjoyed our dinner out at Toasted Oak. We were celebrating my sister in lawâs birthday and it was her first time dining there. We were super impressed with the food and I love my T.O.Cosmo cocktail! The squash soup was divine and the salmon special was incredibly tasty! The salted caramel budino was the perfect finish! Our server Natalie was wonderful. She was helpful, cheery and friendly and clearly is an asset to the restaurant. We will absolutely return and will continue to recommend Toasted Oak to others."

"We’ve eaten at MAG many times and never had an experience as poor as this one.We were on time for our reservation for and had to wait over minutes. When we were finally seated there was no mention, let alone apology, for the delay. Our waitress consistently mixed up our order, giving the medium rare and rare hanger steaks to the wrong people...and another steak was less than inch thick and inedible. We took it home, cut it up, and gave it to the dog. He would not eat it.We did not order dessert so the very sad story ends here, but the salmon was perfect"

"Was a unique and great experience for the price. We started off with a sleight ride and had a great guide. In the middle we stopped and ate some authentic Montana chili and had some drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Then after we ended with the rest of the sleigh ride. The sky was lit up that night with so many stars, beautiful sight."

"We don 't go here often because of the loudness (er liveliness . But we forgot how good the food is. On the late side on a weeknight, the menu has a chance to shine. It 's one of the places you can get real Dover sole last night 's special. And plenty of other great fish and seafood. I almost gave a 5 for service but for one ding trying to clear one of our plates before the other was finished. A pet peeve, perhaps, but classy places should know better. Otherwise, our server was excellent knowledgeable, well paced, delightful. It 's Bethesda prices but fair for quality ingredients."

"We have been wanting to dine at Brussels Bistro for some time now and we finally got the opportunity last evening. The food was fresh and delicious!!! Everything we ordered was great! Everything came out hot and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, very attentive and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend."

"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."

"I made reservations and was seated promptly. I ordered the chicken and waffles as an appetizer and the Thai chicken skewers. The waffles were tasty, but I was surprised to find that the chicken was more like small bites than strips. Unfortunately, the chicken had no flavor at all. Perhaps some bacon maple syrup could have helped, but overall it was not very appetizing. My mom ordered the ribs and found them to be stringy, although she had no complaints about the taste. She is quite picky, so I only trust her opinion when she really enjoys something. I decided on the lamb chops, and I was very pleased with them. However, the mashed potatoes seemed a bit off, as I prefer them completely smooth without any lumps. The green beans lacked flavor and seasoning, so I would suggest taking them home and seasoning them to your liking. My daughter ordered the scallops but found them to be overcooked. She should have sent them back, but she ended up swapping with her husband, who had ordered a seafood dish. Overall, I may consider returning, but I am not completely sure. Our waitress was excellent and checked on us regularly. The menu states that a 15% gratuity will be added to bills over $150, but we were charged 20%, so they might want to update their menus."

"In a word “unbelievable”. Mike, our server is rare to find in USA. Came close to service in Cancun. Small blip with unruly , unmanaged kids at table next to us and we were swiftly moved to a cloistered location. The oysters and King Crab were stellar and the wine choices spot on. Great curating and navigation of our five course fine dining extravaganza. I think real key lime pie would have been better for the finale but their twist on deserts were not too bad. They did learn from me about what an authentic tokaji aszu and hope to see one offered next visit. Their French Sancerre was amazing and made me forget they did not have a New Zealand SauvBlanc. Salmon dish with Thai salad was special. Great place. Solid seafood and wonderful service and ambiance."

"We have been dining here regularly—sometimes several times a week—for over 13 years, and the people at Crossroads feel like an extended family. The staff is wonderful, and the food is outstanding! We know most of the servers and owners by name, and they always take exceptional care of us. The steaks are excellent and cooked perfectly to our liking. The Delmonico is a personal favorite and often a go-to choice for me. I also love their special house salad with pears, blue cheese, and a sweet vinaigrette dressing. They offer a wide range of seafood options, including crab cakes, shrimp, and a fantastic teriyaki-glazed salmon. The appetizers and sides like sweet potatoes, buffalo wings, roasted artichoke hearts, calamari, and roasted mac and cheese are all excellent. The daily specials are always a delightful surprise. There are too many great dishes to choose from! Highly recommended; we've never been disappointed!"

"We stopped at Charco-Broiler on 3/2/2024 since we were in the area.. Unfortunately, the service was mediocre. I think the waiter was new but we had to ask for rolls and our soft drink, that were forgotten. I know that they have to keep prices down but we were surprised that the $37.00 NY strip did not come with salad and potato. The dinner came with one item (we picked baked potatoes) and a cup of cottage cheese and a dinner salad cost an extra $5.50 each! There is a restaurant that we frequent in Loveland that is very much like the Charco-Broiler, down to the chex mix on the salad. Their NY Strip is $1.00 more and includes your potato and salad. The NY strip, which was ordered medium, was tender but did not have any flavor. I brought most of mine home. When we received the bill, we noticed that there was a 5% KSF fee. This was 5% of the food bill and then tax was figured after the food and the 5%. When asked what the KSF fee was, we were told it is a kitchen staff fee. It is a fee for the people that cook, make the salads and do all the kitchen prep! I know this place has a lot of history and ambience but we wanted good food more than that. I think from now on we will stick close to home. Very disappointed to say the least."

"I've dined at The Statler several times, and the food has consistently impressed me. However, the service has always left something to be desired during each visit. It's not terrible, but given the prices, it should be better. On this occasion, the service was particularly slow, even though the restaurant was mostly empty on a Sunday evening. If it had been a busy Saturday night before a show, the pace would've been understandable. We experienced long waits not only for our hors d'oeuvres and dessert orders but also for water refills. We tried to expedite things by ordering our entrées with the hors d'oeuvres to avoid another lengthy wait. Despite these issues, the overall experience was quite enjoyable."

"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"We requested inside dining because it was a special occasion but were told that there's no space inside. Outside at 6:30 the areas offered to us were so sunny that we again requested inside seating and offered to wait. We were offered bar seating. With a toddler the bar table we were seated at was too small. But we still tried to be patient but no one attended to us. We were about to leave for the poor service and spoke with a manager who hadn't been available earlier. Then we got seated inside. We appreciate the help but wonder why our request was so discourteously turned down before. I will think twice before visiting them again."

"The food was great-we had the Beef Bourgignion and the Pork Tenderloin-service was very good. The only other concern was-we were offered bread for our escargot-a which we received-but had no idea that there was a charge for the bread! We were not told that is was an extra charge. It turned out that we didn't touch it-but also didn't know about the charge until we received the bill. I think the owner should actually place this item and the charge at the bottom of the appetizer section-or somewhere, where it can be well seen on the menu-stuck up in a corner of the menu in font-is not the right thing to do-there was another charge that was mistyfing-that was a charge for increase in servers wages? I am not sure-but once again-trying to make up for the money lost during covid-making the patrons pay a little more. Communication with the patrons should be open and honest-thanks"

"Our overall experience at the restaurant was great and we would definitely consider coming back. However, I am deducting one star because the hangar steak we ordered was undercooked with a purplish color in the middle, the Caesar salad dressing was watered down due to wet lettuce, and the butternut squash ravioli was overly drenched in cream sauce without it being mentioned in the description. Additionally, the braised lamb dish could use a side of mashed potatoes or something to balance out the richness, as one piece of toast was not sufficient. Despite these issues, the restaurant promptly addressed any complaints we had and the French dip sandwich was exceptional, possibly one of the best I have had recently. The Gilman salad was also delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the service was spot on. The restaurant has a trendy atmosphere and I would recommend trying it out if you are in the area."

"This restaurant is so pretty inside and you also have an option of the outdoor patio seating. The food was awesome and worth the price. Delicious Sangria! Definitely coming back!"
