"We came to Peninsula Grill for my wife and her Mom’s birthday. (both on the same day) The hostess was sweet and greeted us and asked “whose birthday it was?” And was so excited when we told her we had two birthdays! She typed it into the computer, and we were seated, and received drinks. We then waited around 40 minutes for bread. We were surprised to see multiple couples and groups who arrived after us receiving their entrees, and ended up waiting around an hour and 30 minutes for ours. We were not checked on by our waiter, and received dinner without an opportunity to order additional drinks AND we had waters empty. At this point, we were a little frustrated. The food was great, but our service was next to nothing and our waiter was surprised when we didn’t want to order any dessert, having been sitting there for near on 2 hours at this point. The phrase that we kept feeling was that we were not prioritized, even with two birthdays seated at the table. We were surprised at the low level of service we received as we’ve heard great things, but unfortunately we will not be recommending or coming back to Peninsula Grill ever again."

"We had brunch on December 30. We made reservations and we seated upstairs. There is a big difference between the upstairs room and the downstairs one, although the downstairs one is quite nice as well. The food was very good. The service was excellent. You have a great view of the park and the ambience is quiet and soothing without being pretentious. There were other families there and they have enough for kids to eat, but the adult menu is wonderful. Additionally, they had vegan and gluten free options."

"We went to STK last night to celebrate my partner’s promotion at work. I can’t describe how special our experience was! We made a reservation for 6:30, but wanted to hang out at the bar and have a few drinks for happy hour first. The bar staff was very friendly, and we enjoyed our appetizers! The ambiance and decor at the restaurant definitely adds to the experience it’s a unique and fun vibe for sure! We were seated right on time, and were taken care of by John and Grace. They were both phenomenal they answered our questions about the menu and preparation/cuts of steak, and they were positive and energetic. Our drinks were kept full and our meals were amazing! I talked to the GM, Shawn, about why we were celebrating, and he offered to send a surprise to the table at the end of the night. My partner was thrilled when it arrived! It was a huge sparkler along with a few drinks perfect end to the evening, and Shawn, John, and Grace all made sure to congratulate him on his promotion and shake his hand. The evening was truly special, and we are SO glad we went there to celebrate! Highly, highly recommend STK Denver, and we will definitely be back! Thank you all!"

"I’ll rate my experience at STK a I had a small conflict with the host at the door, there was a lot of miscommunication and misconduct in the very beginning. The food was decent, I was excepting the food to be more than what it was but it was okay. My waiter was very pleasant and attentive. I rate my waiter an he made my friend and I feel very comfortable and that he made sure that we received everything that we needed. There were other waiters who were very helpful as well."

"Evan, the bartender, also came over to say hello, and we had the pleasure of complimenting him on his wonderful winter holiday drink menu. The cocktails were outstanding, delicious, and exactly what we hoped for from such a unique local "secret" spot. I was genuinely charmed by the ambiance; you have truly created a gem of a space. What stood out most was how the staff enhanced our experience throughout our 90-minute visit. When it was time for us to leave, they graciously invited us to return for more. "First time going to this restaurant for brunch. The place itself is nice, décor is nice. We went on a weekend during brunch, so it was not that busy so the vibe was very relaxed and calm- obviously would be different during dinner time. The hostess was very nice, and the staff are all polite. Servers could speak up a little louder, it was hard to understand at times. The mac and cheese was delicious, and my partner liked his lobster and said the steak was cooked perfectly. We did have a hair in the butter sauce which was replaced right away- an offer for a dessert or something would have been appreciated considering the price we paid. The little burgers were not all that, had better else where. The bathroom area is super dark, and only one stall for the ladies bathroom- which is not a problem for a slow brunch day, but I could imagine on a busy dinner night how annoying that would be. We had bottomless mimosas for 30 bucks which is a reasonable price for brunch. The manager at the end of our meal came to our table to touch base which was nice and appreciated. Overall, it was a good experience to try but nothing to bring me back so far."

"We went to Salvatore's on our Wedding Anniversary and we will never go back. Waited an hour and a half for our food. No apologies from our sever for waiting so long. My chicken was burned my husband's pasta was overcooked. We told our server, they didn't care. Way over priced. We left a review on Google and we were told that if we changed our review to reflect a more positive experience that we would receive a $100 gift card. I'm not going to lie about my experience to receive a $100 gift card to go back and have the same awful food!"

"It was minutes before the server approached the table. We ordered a bottle of champagne which took minutes to arrive to the table. Meals weren’t timed appropriately. servers seemed very inexperienced and unaware of their patrons and surroundings. Several other tables seated around us had the same issues. This establishment needs to be completely retrained from management to staff. Add in the fact that there were no apologies for the poor service nor did management offer anything in lieu of the poor service... not even a small dessert. Rest assured, the only reason this place is still open is be its in a hotel and is required for room service. There is a plethora of other opportunities to experience food in Brickell... do NOT waste your time or money on this embarrassment allegedly calling itself a restaurant"

"I really appreciated the variety of drinks available; there were plenty of options to choose from. However, I found the entree selection on the food menu a bit lacking. I tried the octopus, which was flavorful, but it was somewhat tough and could have been a bit more tender. On the other hand, the beet salad was fantastic—I enjoyed it immensely. The raw oysters were extremely fresh, and I loved the different varieties offered. My friend had their signature cocktails, and they were delicious; I definitely enjoyed those as well."

"I had been coming here religiously for years before Covid and loved the mellow vibe and relaxing experience sipping on great drinks made be the talented bartenders. Now, it’s such a headache to go. It gets so loud in there with the larger parties that shout over one another, it takes half your reservation to get food brought to you and even then, they got rid of the charcuterie board. The only great thing about this place is the drinks. But the ambiance is horrible. They don’t want you talking on your phone so you won’t be too loud but I couldn’t even hear my fiancé sitting right next to me over all the loud parties. Drop the speakeasy/lounge shtick if you allow the noise level to be higher than the FOH in that little room. Just open it up as a second bar then."

"I've always enjoyed coming here for the pork chops, but this time I was disappointed with the bruschetta – it wasn't what I expected and I wouldn't recommend it. The food runners were more polite than our server, who seemed disinterested and didn’t show any friendliness or warmth. It felt like we were more of an inconvenience to her. I think it would be beneficial for servers to suggest specific drinks that pair with the food options. It's a whiskey bar, but there was no enthusiasm when talking about drink selections, which definitely detracted from the experience."

"Wandered in for an early meal, met warmly by staff and a lovely young lady named Emma took me to a table in the patio area. The menu was great, I chose Mamas meatballs which arrived promptly. Superb, great garlic bread accompanied a decent serve of tasty meatballs and thick marinara sauce. And the taste was sensational. Emma was particularly kind and made sure wine was sorted, some nice conversation as I'm a long way from home and made me feel welcome. All in all, a great dining experience. All the staff said goodbye, etc as I left, rounding out a very pleasant meal with a home cooked meal and family time. Thanks Emma and team.Cheers."

"Eiren my server was welcoming from the moment I walked in the place. He had a pleasant smile and said that I could sit any where I liked since the restaurant wasn't that busy. I had a living social voucher to help cut the cost of my expense. I started out with the Paradise salad which was mixed greens, beets, apples, goat cheese and walnuts. They didn't have wings so I order this fried potato balls filled with pork. Last but not least I ordered a turkey burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. The portion size just enough. I got to bring home a doggy bag and have a nice lunch for tomorrow. Dining points, discount and doggy bag. Who could ask for anything more?"

"I planned a birthday dinner for my mom. The staff seemed incompetent and lazy. We had a party of 14 with one waiter, we went during the time that was slow and waiters and waitresses were literally just standing around while our waiter struggled to assist all of us in a timely matter. The manager never came over to assist. He stood from afar and watched our table for 20 minutes while the waiter struggled. My mom’s fish was frozen. The waiter comped her birthday, dessert and shots. Our waiter did his best but he had NO support or help. Water glasses didn’t get refilled and wait staff literally was standing no one seemed eager to help us. Outside just of our waiter the service just sucked! This place was not worth the hype, save your money, and go somewhere cheaper with better service!"

"We only found reservations through Open Table for 5:30 PM and then again at around 9 PM. My wife and I arrived at 5:30, but the restaurant had no other diners, and it was clear they weren’t prepared for guests. The waiter seemed unfamiliar with the $75 prix fixe NYE menu, and it appeared that the kitchen was as well. The food was served in a confusing order and at different times; my wife received her salad 10 minutes before I did. When my appetizer finally arrived, I only got one oyster, with the rest brought out later. Unfortunately, the food itself was mostly disappointing. My steak was okay, but our salads were drenched in dressing, the shrimp were rubbery and overcooked, and the oysters were excessively salty. They also forgot to bring the 'palate cleanser' until we reminded them, and it came just before dessert. To make matters worse, even the drinks were poorly made, such as a badly mixed Cosmopolitan—though I will give credit to the bartender for trying to fix it. To finish our prix fixe meal, we were supposed to receive a glass of champagne, but we had to ask for that as well. When it finally arrived, it was flat—completely devoid of bubbles. And all of this included an additional 4% food gratuity. Overall, it was a terrible experience, particularly for a New Year’s Eve dinner."
