"We had brunch on December 30. We made reservations and we seated upstairs. There is a big difference between the upstairs room and the downstairs one, although the downstairs one is quite nice as well. The food was very good. The service was excellent. You have a great view of the park and the ambience is quiet and soothing without being pretentious. There were other families there and they have enough for kids to eat, but the adult menu is wonderful. Additionally, they had vegan and gluten free options."

In my opinion, this cosy and elegant restaurant is the best French bistro in Boston.

Great feel, good food. Service could be more attentive, particularly upstairs when checking in. View menu

Went for a client lunch. The wait staff was nice and location was pleasant. Food was very mediocre for the price tag. The fries were cold and the chicken sandwich was thin and chewy.

The food was mediocre and expensive. The omelette was dry and the salad was plain lettuce with barely any dressing. Fries were cold and hard with unpleasant smoke spice on them. Won’t go back.

We went for lunch and it was fantastic. The French onion soup was potentially one of the beat I've had. The soup was thick and not runny with a delicious sherry flavor and not to much cheese. The winter salad was also delicious, with hazelnuts and a fantastic sherry vinaigrette. I'd definitely recommend. View menu

The service is outstanding and the desserts are my favorites of our dining experience. The duck breast is as good as we imagined but the sides are bit too salty. We also had Ora king salmon crudo, American wagyu beef tartare, Spanish octopus and seared foie gras for appetizers. They are pretty good. Only downside was that our drinks are too sweet.

Incredible experience from appetizer to dessert. We ordered the Spanish octopus- it was perfectly cooked and garnished, then shared the bistro bouillabaisse-the seafood was so fresh and again cooked to perfection. The broth was one of the most flavorful I have had with this type of dish. It was plenty to share. We finished with the apple soufflé, again stunning. Definitely recommend this French bistro, the atmosphere was on point as well.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
