"We love simply fondue! People really enjoy the feast and the enjoyment of the deliciousness of the food and the fun of the experience of cooking at your own table. We have dined here many many times, and there is something that is consistent, not necessarily in a good way, and we would like to share our feedback to improve the experience there. We have found the amount or wait time for the server to arrive at the table to be extremely long. And for the drink order and first item like salad or appetizer to be waaay too long! It is frustrating and doesn’t set the right tone to the experience. It is a long dining experience but the wait time for service and to receive the first drink and order/ appetizer/salad really needs to be addressed. The runner who brings out the drinks is truly delightful, so maybe capitalize on these staff members, as the wait staff don’t seem very attentive or lively to be there for the customers. This restaurant should be joyous and fun. I realize staff is short and the work is demanding but there is a reason when they are called servers. We were disappointed in the lack of attentiveness and some joy In the service provided."

"Everyone hypes this palace up, so we had to try. We will be back, but I don't think I will order the flat iron steak again. Ordered medium and it was dead when it came out. Potatoes were extra salty; all the stuff was not needed on top of the steak. Everything else was good. Service was good. Large menu. Update: 8/21/2022 we go here a lot. My mother goes here a lot because we enjoy it and it is usually consistent. Today was a different story for some reason. Some portions were smaller than normal. Side items were forgotten. Service was extremely slow and they were not busy. We gave up on trying to get more coffee and water. Everything was yummy as usual, but we were all a bit disappointed, unfortunately. The points program is good, so sign up if you plan on going back."

"terrible service and eating! the waitress gave terrible service, I think as she knew that our table would have luck to size (8 people.) we came to nye and the restaurant itself was empty, but it took 30 minutes before we even ask if we wanted to drink and then another 15 to bring them. 45 minutes before drinking is not acceptable. then she took our food orders and was not very helpful when asking. the food arrived well 30 40 minutes later and there were a few things that had to be done wrong. When he testified to her, I could see her storm as a host and hear her complaining about our table. no apologies, only poor service. the surf and turf special was terrible, the garnel saw microwave. very low quality, surprised as the knick had excellent eating. a total of one of the worst dinning experiences I've ever had, even worst, as I was forced to leave a 18% tip that waitress didn't deserve. when they go here for casual bar as burger, they will be good. but I would avoid this place for any formal meal times. again, very disappointing."

"The staff was very friendly, and our drinks arrived promptly. The hostess was a bit overly attentive, but that’s far better than feeling completely ignored. "I was meeting up with some friends and wanted to try out S&L. Checked out the menu online in advance and was practically drooling! Everything sounded amazing! It would have been easier to choose something I didn't want. Arrived around 6:30 on a Wednesday, it was busy, but not packed and we easily got a table. Ordered the dream Caesar, it was smoky-pickley yummyness, if you are a Caesar fan, this one was a can't miss! After much consideration, I went with the wagyu beef with asparagus and lobster mash. When our meals arrived, I noted I received the brussel sprouts instead of potatoes, but they actually looked delicious, so I just went with it. They did notice the error and bought me out my correct plate, so I ended up with 2 steaks! Um yeah! To apologize for the mix-up they brought us out a round of shots. Everything I had was ah-may-zing, no concerns about the food. In fact, everyone loved their food. We usually meet up once every couple months at a different place every time, but we've decided this is our place now. Service was also excellent, great views, cool atmosphere and a nice looking patio. 5 stars, go here now."

"Friendly staff. Couple of us had the Rigatoni Carbonara with the blackened chicken (coated with spices and fried is how I'd describe it). For me initially it tasted good but the saltiness grew I'm not a fan of too much salt and I wished I had chosen the grilled option. The white cream sauce was good though. Others had the Fettuccine Primavera and the Lasagna Bolognese (both looked good and they cleaned their plates). My husband ordered a glass of the Twisted Cedar Moscato. Real small serving (1 in glass) which was not worth the $9 price. We were there around 5:20 pm on a Saturday. It was 80% at capacity throughout the time we ordered/ate/visited and I kept an eye out for nervous staff signaling we should go but they were not rushing us . Thanks team! We were with friends we hadn't had time to catch up with in a while so we had a nice time there leisurely finishing our food and socializing"

"We've eaten lunch at Pomodoros many times. There are a few menu favorites we return to: their Classic Italian sandwich and gyro are very good, as is the spicy salmon wrap. This time my husband returned to the gyro. He needed to request extra tzaziki sauce, and then it lived up to expectations. I branched out and had the burger sliders, which were delicious. The server had said their kitchen couldn't cook the burgers medium rare, as they don't grind their own beef. But when they came, they were pink inside, very juicy and flavorful. The addition of pancetta and provolone ensured an Italian flair that was delightful. Service was good, if a little slow. The server didn't understand how Open Table works, and our reservation was cancelled while we were sitting there. It took several days to get that straightened out and our points properly credited, but it's fine now"

"The atmosphere of this restaurant is great, but for what happened to me while I was here, the entire restaurant gets a 1 star. I have celiac, which I disclosed at the beginning before ordering. My family came here because it was recommended to us that the restaurant was safe and we confirmed on Find Me Gluten Free. Our waitress provided us a gluten free menu. We ordered from it. Our food came and i ate a lettuce wrap with the sauce offered. The waitress returned, apologetic, and stated that the manager had told her it wasn’t gluten free. As someone with a major intolerance, going out is a big deal. Feeling safe is a big deal. The manager did not bother to come and apologize to us but allowed the waitress to deliver the difficult news and continue apologizing. Don’t come here if you have allergies. This restaurant does not understand how serious allergies can be. You won’t be taken care of."

"Great atmosphere and awesome, friendly service!! We stayed at the attached hotel and definitely spent a lot of money here on drinks.The key lime coconut bar was delicious. Not sure if they make that in house.We had both flatbreads and they were just ok. The truffle fries were a yummy late night snack.Overall, the food was very mediocre, but I found that to be the case with all restaurants on St Pete. The service was 5 stars. The atmosphere is great. The drinks were too expensive for what they were. We only bought cocktails during their happy hour when they are half price. The wine list was decent and the pricing for wines was fair, which was great for a night cap.My suggestion would be to add a few more non-fish options for lunch for the folks staying at the hotel. I would've loved a chip and dip or hummus or something easy to snack on while by the pool!"

"server not great. we sat outside and the conciege said there are heat lamps. there was a heat lamp very closed to the next table low turned and the heat 't reaches our table. when the night went on, it became colder, I asked the waiter (two waiter on two different paints) to build a heat lamp and none of them came either with a heat lamp or a declaration that there was no one. They also did not propose to bring the existing closer to our table. Eat ok: I ordered cioppino, which is a large bowl suppe, so that I kept warm. eating has a lot of ingredients, so it's great. but taste type of bland and the garnel were not fresh (meat is muddy, not firm.) the crispy brussel sprouts were baked, not fried, so it is not crispy."

"This was by far the WORST meal I've had to date. First, they served a warm beer and they didn't serve us bread when clearly other table received bread. But I have to say the worst was, half of our group were served about 20 minutes !! before the other half of the group. You'd think that the servers, recognizing this, would have served bread or offered another drink on the house...something MORE THAN...THE REST OF THE MEALS WILL BE OUT SOON! The service was abysmal and the food was sub-par. I ordered a medium rare burger and it was a rock. And since I had to wait for the rest of the table to be served, that rock was stone cold. Honestly when your menu has only 5 dishes, its a no brainer to make a decent burger and to get everyone's food to the table on time. Oh yeah and the paper menus were dirty! Don't waste your money on an organization who has little care or respect for their customers. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area. these guys shouldn't even receive a star at all."

"We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. After making reservations for Father's Day, we were ignored at the host station. I had to ask twice for lime for my water, and when it finally arrived, it was two tiny, thin slices that added no flavor. The cookies on the table were hard and overly spicy. We had to hunt down our waitress to get a to-go box that was too small for our leftovers. I left a small tip reflecting the poor service, but the restaurant decided to add $10 to the bill. Do not waste your money here, it's a disaster!"

"We had a blast at TK's tonight! Beautiful space, great friendly service and tasty food and drinks plus excellent entertainment. TK greeted us at the door and he worked the crowd with grace and gratitude. We ordered several apps and everything was fresh, hot and yummy. The comedy show was awesome too! Several comics, including TK and his wife, Kara Kimbrough, performed as did two others and the headliner, Adam Yenser was terrific. All were very funny and we laughed until it hurt. Everyone in the crowd was well entertained and we look forward to being back again very soon. Check it out for a fun night--you'll be glad you did!"

"Service was attentive and the people working there were great. The food however was simple and bland. The tuna tartar had quite a bit more avocado than tuna, but the chips were at least tasty. The ravioli were eh. They were on the menu as vegetarian but ultimately I believe they were vegan. Needed some more pizzaz. The pineapple chicken entree was not wonderful. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible and I appreciated the unique presentation (it came in a pineapple) but the chicken was flavorless and the rice wasn't much better. The chef needs a spice rack or at least some salt and pepper anything. We did not stay for dessert."
