"The environment is so fun and the animals move and “come alive” during the pretend rain storm. We love coming here for the fun. Our most recent visit, we were greeted by the manager (Sanjay) and he came back several times during our dinner to remove finished items and ask for what we needed. He was EXCELLENT at customer service and being a manager. We told him he really set an example of what it teams to be a great leader to his employees. However, the last few times we’ve come here the food quality isn’t as high quality as one might expect. We’ve had 4-6 people with us the last couple of times and only 1-2 people liked their food. The best food we ordered was the Amazing Appetizer. Particularly the chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks were the best. I would highly recommend the chicken fingers and the honey mustard it comes with! A few weeks ago, I ordered the Beef Nachos and they were the worst nachos I’ve ever had. The chips and cheese were dried out and the beef didn’t taste like it had any flavor. It was about 85-90% chips and 10% toppings. I didn’t eat 70% of the dish. I would rate it 2 out of 10 stars. I would never order it again. My husband ordered Fish and Chips and rated it a 6.5 out of 10. My daughters ordered the pasta w red sauce and didn’t like it. Most recently, my husband and daughter ordered the hamburger and fries and both of them rated it 5-6 out of 10. My mom ordered the Cobb salad w ranch and loved it. I ordered the chicken quesadilla this time. The chicken was bland and didn’t taste fresh. However, I would order it without the chicken next time."

"Our reservation was for 4:45 to celebrate my daughters birthday. We didn’t get seated until 5:15, and that was because I went and asked otherwise they would’ve kept skipping us. The food was not good, at that point I think everyone was just hungry so we just ate. Our server was very attentive and great, she brought my daughter a cupcake and sang to her. There was a woman who does balloon animals so it helped with the long wait time from waiting to be seated and for our food to come out. This place is always busy and my kids always want to go, but it’s just not managed well at all. It was just a mess overall. Everything is overpriced too. Definitely don’t recommend."

"We celebrated our daughter’s 8th birthday. The ambiance was fun for the kids. The food overall was very disappointing. My son said the rice that comes with the maple glazed salmon was undercooked and crunchy. My husband ordered the taste of the islands and the fish was very dried out and bland. My mother wasnt happy with how undercooked the rice was either that came with the fajitas. I ordered the steak and shrimp. My steak was overcooked and hard. We did not complain to the server because it would have been way too many issues to correct. Our server was friendly but I rated service 3 stars because we weren’t asked or given any refills on our drinks (which we all wanted) and the host was not very welcoming. The entire restaurant was dead and empty and we were told our reservation was going to be cancelled if the remaining 3 guests of our 12 party did not come within the 15 minute grace period (which they did). That was very confusing to all of us because there was not a wait or any other reservations or walk ins. I manage a restaurant and first impressions are everything. I was not happy with this experience unfortunately."

"It's important to keep in mind that Rainforest Cafe is more about the experience than the food. Over the years we've enjoyed it especially with that in mind. However, even with that in mind, the food was subpar at best. Our server was fantastic. The food was served in a reasonable amount of time. We did the river boat adventure as it is a family tradition. It is a cheesy kind of fun. We did stand at the counter (1st in line) for about 15 minutes waiting on a cashier to show up. When he did arrive he had a bit of an attitude. I'm not sure why. I know retail is a difficult field to work in but I still expect a certain level of customer service from an establishment that charges the prices they do. This guy definitely missed the mark."

"We made a reservation for pm. I was super excited as this is my favorite restaurant to eat at when we go on vacation to Disney. So to find out there was one near Ft. Lauderdale seemed great! Turns out the restaurant closes at We had no idea. They had reservation slots up until The staff was ticked that we were showing up so late. They even confirmed the reservation earlier in the day, but never said a word about that being closing time. The hostess and another waitress made extremely rude comments as we were being seated. Waiter was good but the experience was already ruined. Food then seemed not w great. We were both so uncomfortable, we just wanted to leave ASAP. It was expensive for a terrible experience. We were out celebrating the soon to come birth of our first baby but this location really put a damper on our trip"

"My wife and I have visited various Rainforest Cafes in different cities over the years, so we decided to try the one in Atlantic City. We made a reservation and arrived on time, although there was a slight wait to be seated. The restaurant maintained its typical rainforest ambiance with music and activities. The food was decent, nothing exceptional, and our server was friendly but a bit slow and inattentive. However, we noticed other tables experiencing longer waits and struggling to get their orders taken, so we felt fortunate with our server. The Rainforest Cafe is known for its themed experience, which is top-notch and the main reason why people choose to dine there. It's a shame that the dining service doesn't match up to the theme as well."

"My partner chose this restaurant for his birthday dinner, but I had to change our reservations twice. When we arrived, I was kept waiting by a staff member at check-in. Our party noticed empty seats and wondered where we would be seated. Unfortunately, we were all placed in a corner that we did not like. It took a long time to get water to our table, and the food took even longer. The portion sizes did not seem to justify the prices, and the spinach dip appetizer was not blended or melted correctly. Overall, it was not the worst experience, but we were hoping for better."

"We had a group of older women, most reminiscing about when they took their grandkids to RainForest. So we knew about the theatrics, the noise level and were prepared for that. Our server was absolutely wonderful. The biggest concern I had was trying to get seated. I’m guess there is a policy of not seating a group until all are there. We are all 65 years and older, some with canes. The entrance staff refused to seat us when seven out of our 10 were there, insisting we had to stand and wait. I was able to finally convince her to allow us to be seated and direct the later ones to our table. If the place had been busy and crowded I would understand. At best it was 25% filled. Be prepared for exceptions."
