"I ordered $70 of food and gave a simple request to separate the order in two .. going to two different places ?(3 items only in the order) well due to the ignorance stupidly or laziness of the person that took the order it got mixed up and the orders are now garbage due to one person doesn?t eat chicken and the other doesn?t eat steak ..I called and was told if I brought back the food they would make me new ? so again like every instance now a days no one takes responsibility.. I?d have to spend an hour getting the correct food ? I knew I should have orders from Andrew?s diner .all of Mikes diners are dumps anyway"

"Oh my gosh, I don't even know where to start! Before we even got to Second Happy Door, the host greeted us with menus, and they were very polite. Once we sat down, we were served refreshing water with ice and napkins—such attentive service! Our waiter came by shortly after to take our orders, and the coffee arrived quickly. We ordered the French Toast Deluxe, which came with eggs and cheese, as well as cheddar cheese and extra pancakes. Honestly, this was the best French toast I've ever had! It was perfectly warm and cooked just right in the middle. The flavor was outstanding; the cook truly nailed it. The presentation was also impressive!"

"I want to caution everyone about how unhygienic this restaurant is, along with its terrible customer service. I placed my order and waited for my food. While waiting, I accidentally dropped my fork. When I requested a replacement, they told me they had no more forks available. Instead, they offered to bring me hot water so I could clean it myself. I was shocked. When I asked again, they repeated that they had no more forks. It was evident that they do not adhere to COVID safety protocols. Are they really suggesting that they only have a limited number of utensils that everyone has to share? That’s absolutely revolting. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told no. When I requested to see the owner, they also refused. Please be aware of how unsanitary and unprofessional this place is—don’t waste your time here. I would give them a zero if I could, but unfortunately, I can only rate them a one star."

"My boyfriend and I intended to go to IHOP, but the parking lot was full. So, we decided to give this place a try since it’s right next door, and I’m so glad we did! It's the best diner I've ever been to. The atmosphere was very peaceful, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We were served by Nana, who was exceptionally sweet. Their French toast was fantastic, and the fresh fruit was delicious. The hospitality from the staff was truly wonderful! I would definitely recommend this diner to anyone visiting Staten Island for the weekend. They made us feel so welcome, and it was clear that the food was made with love."

"Really surprised to find this diamond in the rough. Under a permanent structure of scaffolding, and certainly not what I would call an enticing decor, the food and service at this diner was especially good. I was looking for a good place to sit while waiting for someone at the dental surgery clinic next door. The table cubicles were strewn in a most un feng shui fashion, seats ripped and needing repair, I was desperate and sat. The waitress was pleasant and accommodating. I actually got skim milk for coffee, the toast was unbuttered, the eggs hot and runny and best of all the home fries were crispy and flavorful. I?ve been so used to horrible undercooked home fries I?d forgotten they weren?t supposed to be that way. When finished I confessed why I was lingering and she made me even more welcome with an invitation to sit as long as I would like. I sat and watched NY1 for a while until summoned next door. I will be back."

"My wife and I went here for dinner. It was not crowded and we were seated immediately. Our server was at the table within a minute or two of us sitting and took our drink order. My wife got a breakfast wrap and I got the Large Greek Salad with Salmon. The serving portions were huge. The salad was fantastic. It had so much Feta that you could have some with every bite of the salad. The stuffed grape leaves and pita were also a nice touch. The breakfast wrap was delicious almost bursting with eggs, bacon, cheese and tomato. My wife and I each only finished about half our meals. They also have a bakery case with fresh baked goodies but sadly we were too full to partake."

"I wasn't here for the food, even though it has received a lot of great reviews. I just wanted to grab a pint, but when I arrived at 2:30 PM, the place wasn't open yet as they were preparing for a catered event. I'll have to come back another time. Just a heads-up, the B61 bus line runs along Columbia Street, but street parking can be a bit challenging to find. Overall, the storefront and interior looked quite nice from what I could see. So, I plan to give it a try in the future."

"Small place. We can in around 5 with 3 ppl .1 old and big, 1 big n tall(me) and big mentally ill... 1 of my party had an allergic reaction so he needed to calm down before eating j the waiter was cool that after explaining. but the bad thing was after ordering we had to flag him down too many times. Fries could have cooked longer.. My chicken cordon bleu panini was missing the sauce very dry, barely cheesed. I ordered a drink and 2 apps mac n cheese bites and wings. Both great. But my ice tea was gone ...asked for another tea and a water.. Still waiting on the waiter. We even took 2 more things home. Philly cheese steak with a little skimpy buy good. I even decently tipped 15$ on 130$ with iffy service."

"The service here is appalling. We were charged four times for only two meals. When we contacted the restaurant, the staff insisted that we physically go to the location to show our credit card statement and refused to provide an email address to which we could send the information. As non-local residents who are leaving Philadelphia soon, it is highly inconvenient for us to make a trip to the restaurant. We are able to send the statement via email, but they were unwilling to accommodate that. Thankfully, we reached out to a third party for assistance, and they have been incredibly helpful in investigating the matter and working to reverse some of the erroneous charges. The restaurant really needs to improve their service and stop making it difficult for customers. The manager should learn how to address billing issues without insisting that customers come in person, especially when it’s difficult for them to do so. Furthermore, the manager’s attitude was rude and disrespectful."

"I am sick of going by the reviews and ratings provided by Google. The food here was horrible. And super expensive. I paid 67 for 3 breakfast meals and I'm expecting a really good meal. The eggs Benedict and Greek omelette were horrible. My California omelette was ok. The sugar and salt shaker were crusted and unable to and I had to unscrew them and pour the salt in my palm to sprinkle it on my food. The waitress didn't come by to refill my coffee to the very end. This diner is a basic diner with extremely high prices. I swear it's not worth going out anymore to eat. I can cook better than this in my sleep."

"They have two locations....the one on La Brea and Fairview I would never recommend. I've had multiple bad experiences there, but I thought that I thought was a fluke. The first time, they forgot to give me the drink my order came with. When I returned to get it, the girl refused to give it to me without asking for me to pay. I had to talk to someone in charge for that. Another time they charge my card for someone else's order. Although we weren't sitting near each other, on opposite sides of the patio, we we're the only two melinated people sitting outside. I guess it could happen. Another time they shorted me a taco on the combo I ordered (2 tacos instead of 3). Another time I waited for 25min, while everyone else's order came in before mine, including people who placed orders after me. I'd noticed at least 4times previously the carne asada hard shell tacos contain more gristle and fat than meat. This time, 2 of the 3 tacos were inedible because of gristle and fat. The meat quality very is poor. I would tell anyone not to waste their money."
