"I expected a Bar-Tarife menu, but was pleasantly surprised by the variety on the menu. Yes, you can get a burger and pommes, but you can also get ribs, fish, roast beef, sirloin or anything you want. I wouldn't recommend this place to the veterinarians. I have the special sandwich of the conductor who was a ton of roast beef with paprika mushrooms and pork cheese, it was fantastic. It is not the cheapest place to make with most sandwiches at $10 and lures at $15-20, but the amount and quality make for it. We will definitely come back."

"The food here is great but the amount of flies this restaurant has inside is disturbing. We had 5 flies buzzing around our table the entire time we were there and this is not the first time it has happened either. The waitress we had completely messed up our order and then made it seem like it was our fault she didn't write it down. We got two slices of their famous pie to go because we couldn't stand the flies any longer and when we got home we discovered the waitress put them In the bag upside down. If that wasn't bad enough the tops were not locked so when you picked it up it fell out into the bag an onto the floor. I loved this place months ago but after this experience I think I will go else where. While I love supporting a small business id rather not share a table with flies. Everything else I can forgive but being chased out by the swarm was just to much for me to handle. With them landing on everything nothing is sanitary."

"I've come here off and on for the last few years. It's a favorite of relatives. I get to not eat when we come. I have a food allergy and even the things that could most easily be made gluten free are not. It's no fun to sit while family gets to eat and watch them. Our server was fine and took the time to patiently explain what was and was not okay on the menu... Turns out even things that are labeled gluten friendly are not. I don't even know who to tell or who to ask to please be more thoughtful. If you're going to have bingo night, why would you seat a large group in the middle of where you're going to play bingo? Our time to talk was cut short as staff cleared the area and began setting up. A member of our party had to dodge a staff member carrying a chair (they were in their seat and had to actually dodge as the person with the chair came though). There was no thought. Dietary restrictions: This is not a good place for dietary restrictions both gluten and dairy. Stay away."

"Someone told me about this place and how good they are. We sat right away, which was awesome, and had a great feel to the place. We were greeted by our waiter, and he seemed young and nice. We ordered our drinks and everything seemed fine, we did not have water while we waited, after a long while he finally came back with our drinks and to order food. Then this is when things took a turn, we waited a long time for our food, almost 45 mins... it was a sandwich and shrimp alfredo. Granted, it was a saturday, so the place was busy. We took that into account. Our waiter never checked in on us to see if we needed another drink or anything. We had to flag him down a few times. The food was alright, the sandwich was cold and the alfredo was hot. The shrimp was not good, so even though the pasta came with a lot of shrimp, it did not taste good. So I ate around it and just ate the noodles. My mistake was because upon leaving, I felt ill. Finally, we had to hunt down our waiter just so we could pay and leave. We explained to our waiter why we were upset. He just shrugged it off, took our money, and we left. Overall, it was not a place I would go out of my way to go to again."

"Food was okay, just average. As others have stated it's overpriced for quality of food. Had a chicken caesar salad and chicken was very dry. I've had better chicken caesar salads at the Wooden Nickel (a local bar grill) for less money.The worst part was the service which was terrible. Server did not clear empty plates from our table which is a standard for quality service. Just brought our bill and never asked is if we wanted desert. We had leftover food to take home and she just threw down a couple of plastic containers for us to box our own food. My wife had to ask for a bag to put containers in. Hostess told her they usually don't give out bags. We had eaten at Bella Milano a couple of months ago and the server had cleared our table, asked us about desert, and boxed our leftovers. So this time we expected the same great service and received just the opposite. We spent $70 for lunch for two people and if Bella Milano is going to charges those prices you expect superior service. We will not be going back."

"This is easily the best pizza I've ever had. First off, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is top-notch. I placed an online order but arrived early, and I called to see if I could pick it up sooner. They were very accommodating. When I got to the store, I noticed them making the dough fresh in the back, which was impressive. The staff welcomed me warmly, and I was amazed at how personable they were. By the time I got to work, I was starving, so I dove right into the pizza and wings. They were both outstanding—definitely the best I’ve ever tasted. The salad was also a pleasant surprise; it wasn't just some pre-packaged option but rather fresh and nicely presented. From now on, this will be my go-to place on Sundays."

"Ordered from DoorDash, this restaurant isn’t far- but the fried shrimp was really tasty! Their homemade sauce was a game changer for me- it was like mild sauce and cocktail sauce had a baby lol.. I WOULD NOT order the lobster Mac and cheese again because, albeit flavorful, there seemed to be imitation specks and I do mean very tiny almost minced pieces of what tasted like imitation lobster.. "I've visited this restaurant under its current name at four different locations over the past 40 years. First, I went to the original spot on 3rd Ave SE, where I first met John. I've also been to the North location numerous times, and I've dined at the Broadway South location twice. The 18th Ave NW location by Cedarwood was open for only a brief period. Overall, the ribs at all locations are fantastic, and the sauce is outstanding. I find the cole slaw to be a perfect blend as well."

"I love bakeries. And this one’s hard to review, based on its staple–status in the community. We got a wide selection of their baked goods, and overall were rather disappointed with the lot.Pro first: the raspberry turnover was great. Tons of flaky layers, great crunchy topping, and the raspberry filling was exceptional. Seriously, so good.The downsides: red velvet cupcake, vanilla cream cupcake, rainbow cookie, and traditional frosted cookie. The biggest let down was the icing! Clearly not dairy-based, it is the vegetable oil frosting that doesn’t get cold when you put it in the fridge. I probably would’ve preferred Cool Whip to whatever this was. On the other side, the frosting on the cookies is so incredibly sweet that it drowns out any flavor in the base cookie, if there is any. The cupcake bases were mediocre, and I found myself thinking that they were just from Walmart off the shelf. Low on sweetness, low on quality, low on flavor. Shame the raspberry turnover was an outlier."

"After searching google for things to see, do, and eat that Boston is known for, I stumbled upon Mike’s Pastry. I’m a sucker for a good cannoli. Contrary to other reviews, I found these cannolis to be amazing! Yes, they are huge and rich. One could easily be split between 2 people. The location on Harvard Square had no line, the gentleman behind the counter helped me choose 6 flavors for our party to try. Service was fast and polite. They are about $7-$8 per cannoli. Ours were perfectly filled, no empty spots. I ordered: plain, Nutella, blueberry mascarpone, espresso, pistachio, and chocolate chip. Each one was delicious. I’ve had cannolis in Italy, from the cake boss and other pastry shops around the US and found these to be my absolute favorite. Pro tip: share one with a friend and go for a walk after! They’re sweet, rich, and heavy, but absolutely worth it. "best pizza I had outside of chicago (where I come from, I am not naturally biased! all scratch kitchen with fresh ingredients. the personal pizza was the perfect size for me, although if I felt exhausting, I would have crushed another one. great beer selection and amazing service. everyone is so friendly and attentive. the decoration is also sweet. "I am so grateful for Marguerite and the Vegan Cafe. "Great sandwich and fresh pasta market that punches way above its station. They have a wide variety of selections and level of cuisine sourced from as much locally produced ingredients as humanely possibly it seems. For about the same price I would pay at one of the chain sandwich makers I had one of the best chicken salad sandwiches that I can recall. I really recommend it. To illustrate their diversity and chops I attended a family style pop up dinner there and had braised beef and a burnt butter pasta dish that were both just outstanding. It is a neighborhood gem that deserves our support and will always entice you back. Well done!"

"The pulled pork and smoked turkey were both smoked to perfection and juicy! The sweet cornbread, macaroni n cheese and coleslaw were just as delicious. I got the mix sauce which was part heat and mild, which had exceptional flavor with a perfect mix of the two. I would highly recommend stopping in if you like BBQ and just great food! Only complaint I have is they're not in West Michigan."
