"The service was more than terrible. We went for the valentine's day dinner which was advertised as a four-course dinner menu. It would have been if they knew what they were doing. From the person who seated us to the desserts and the checks, there was not one thing done right. Our pizzas arrived before the starter and the salad, and our friends' pizzas didn't arrive for about an hour and a half. Four reminders later, I asked the manager to check on them, and the waitress was surprised that we were still waiting for something. ..but told us three times before that the kitchen was slammed). They forgot to serve one coke, the wine bottles were just left on the tables with no ice buckets, and so on. Lastly, we were told our checks will be adjusted because of the poor service we got, yet we were brought the non- adjusted ones first If you are offering this four-course dinner menu then get more organized, bring the necessary people on schedule and tell them what is expected, so that your kitchen and wait staff can actually do it!!! Didn't they expect to be full? Didn't they see their reservations ahead of time? of the time the servers looked like they were completely lost and had no idea what they were doing there. Bringing pizzas, wine, starters- all our of order, not clearing anything unless we asked them to...., and so on Bad, bad, bad! Really bad!"

"Arriving on a Thursday right when they opened beating the lunch crowd I was seated right away. I sat at the bar to overlook the prep working going on in the kitchen and at the center the marvelous wood fired oven at the time filled with roasted red peppers, onions and cauliflower. I watched as the team of five led under Chef Javier Nicholas worked hard to prep for the days business. I knew what kind of pie I wanted before arrival, and looked at their wine selection after I was seated. The only downfall the staff wasn’t up par on the current wine selections and tastes. I opted for a white wine which was a bit dryer than I anticipated and really wanted. I ordered the Sausage and crème pizza which Chef Nicholas quickly went to work on right in front of me. He assembled it with fresh sausage, onion, basil, and roasted red peppers, with a garlic crème sauce and topped with mozzarella and provola. As he slid it on the peel, he stretched out the dough and this mound of ingredients fell into place before a flick of the wrist slid it off into the scorching 715 degree wood oven. After a few minutes he spun it around with a quick turn and a couple mins more it was slid off the peel to the plate where he quickly expedited and cut my pizza so it was plated to me hot and fresh all in front of my eyes. This pizza was simply delicious. The gluten in the crust was well formed as to crunchy yet chewy, the blistering of the crust gave the rustic taste of the pizza and the ingredients brought this pizza home. After some further research I find out it’s actually a small chain. But with pizza this delicious, you would think it’s very boutique. If in Seattle, head over to Tutta Bella above Whole Foods on West Lake and get a pie!"

"As always, Tutta Bella is the go to for family friendly dining. Menu that appeals to both kids and adults alike. Good for plant based options too. This time we came for my son 's 11th birthday. We had a moderately sized group (9 , however the restaurant was relatively empty. Food was great, restaurant was surprisingly still a bit loud (the hard floors/walls really echo , so hearing across the table was challenging at times, but not too distracting. The biggest miss on this trip was the service. While it was a slow Monday evening (6p , we saw at least five separate staff members two hosts, and three servers. Likely there were more, not including kitchen staff. Despite that (and potentially training some of those employees? the service was not what we expected. We waited for a long time between seating ordering (food was quick desert check. Our server seemed to keep forgetting things (orders, desert , most notably that it was a birthday celebration and that I had asked for a candle in a cannoli (he brought me the cannoli and when I reminded him of the candle he seemed to think it was for me? Most odd was that none of the employees were friendly. I smile and engage a lot, as does my family. The employees all seemed distracted and/or more interested in talking to each other than helping the customers feel welcomed and well supported. The hosts at least smiled, but that was the only smile/acknowledgement we received from employees during the entire visit other than our server taking our orders. Even when I pointed out the miss on the birthday and then the miss on the candle, there was no apology just and oh, right I 'll get that . Seems a focus on general welcoming behavior and focusing on customer needs/requests would be helpful here."
