"However, when I received my pizza, I noticed that there was nothing special about the crust. I even tried a slice, thinking it might taste different, but it was just regular plain crust. When I called the restaurant to address this issue, I was told that if I could come in right away, they could adjust my pizza. Unfortunately, I was unable to drive due to a migraine, and my stepfather, who picked up the order, was at an event and wouldn’t be back until later. I was informed there was nothing they could do for me unless I came back immediately.
I pointed out that the high price was supposedly due to ordering the special pizza, but they informed me that the price I paid was the normal rate for a regular stuffed crust pizza, despite my receipt stating “Custom stuffed crust,” not just “Stuffed crust.” When I mentioned that I would never have ordered it for $16 if I had known it was just a standard stuffed crust pizza, they simply apologized. They suggested that the staff member who took my order must have been confused, which seemed odd since I clearly specified “stuffed crazy crust pizza” twice, and they repeated it back to me.
To me, this feels like a bait and switch situation, as I did not receive what I ordered, especially after being assured that I was getting the stuffed crazy crust pizza. My family and I used to visit this restaurant regularly, but after this experience, we've decided not to return, as we find their behavior unethical."
