"The only reason they’re not getting 5 stars is because we made a reservation for 9 pm and we didn’t get seated until 9:20 even though the entire party was there at 9 and we even had to ask twice if our table was ready before they finally started clearing our table that had been empty for a while. The food though was excellent and it all came out really quick, even the drinks! The drinks had room for improvement though. The waitress Annie was spectacular!"

"This has been my favorite sushi spot since I moved here. The staff is fantastic; in the two years I’ve been coming here, they've never once messed up an order—never! Everything is always spot-on, the sushi is delicious, and the delivery is incredibly fast. I've tried other well-known sushi restaurants, but their staff only utilizes half of their capacity to serve customers, and the quality of the sushi is just as lacking. This place is truly the best! I never tire of ordering online from them because they have the most essential quality of any business: consistency."

"Went for the first time the other night and boy were we impressed!!! The sushi was the best we've had in New Bern, no question!!! We had the sushi for 2 and it was fantastic! Beautifully done with fresh, expertly cut fish. The cherry bomb roll that was included was a delicious surprise. Our server was very welcoming, attentive and efficient. She was happy to heat up our Saki and decant it (the restaurant supplies). So BYOB or should I say BYOS . Going back soon."

"As someone from Asia, I have high standards when it comes to sushi and sashimi, so finding a place that meets my expectations can be challenging. After discovering this restaurant, I've made a point to visit it every two weeks. I've sampled a variety of dishes, including sushi, maki, rolls, and noodles, but the Chirashi stands out as the best of the best. It comes with a generous selection of fresh and plentiful fish toppings. Today, I ordered Chirashi, Regenbogenmaki, and a mixed dish through Uber Eats. The flavors are consistently delicious. I highly recommend trying the Chirashi at this restaurant!"

"The best recommendation: Oishi Grill Fresh with great service . . .. We've visited Oishii several times and each time the sushi tasted very fresh and came well presented. Oishii has special dishes and unique appetizers combined with a great atmosphere. One appetizer we loved was the Seared White Tuna Tataki. The other was Seared Scallops where each piece came served on top of a slice of kiwi. The Sashimi Appetizer is served on crushed ice so your sashimi stays nice and cool. To top everything off, the server provides extremely good service and always has a big, natural smile. We highly recommend you try this wonderful, small and romantic restaurant which clearly stand out as one of our favorite Japanese Fusion establishments in Jacksonville."

"My mom and I came down to Boston for the day as a girls trip. We stopped at the Tremont Street location on a whim as we were craving sushi. We shared the spicy triple roll (30 piece combo of spicy tuna, salmon and yellow tail) it was AMAZING. Easily the best sushi I have ever had. The place was very clean and the staff was attentive, kind and very knowledgeable when I had questions about things on the menu. Next time we’re in Boston we will make sure to stop here."

"The service was poor. There were utensils to eat. We had to ask for knives to eat the prime rib appetizer. We were looking for our service. She didn’t ask if we wanted drinks and entree. We had to do that. I asked the host if they have a birthday cake for a surprise for my friend. Tho host stated in front of my friend that we had to order the cake spoiling the surprise The food served was good but the service was very poor. Our busboy was very nice. He helped a lot and he also helped us to get the check as the server was just non chalant and nowhere to be found. I planned to have a big event over there but I’m not sure. As a good critic, I will also do an expose on the restaurant"

"At first I thought it was not very good, because the sushi wasn't very tasty and it seemed really empty, dark, and dingy. I kept going because my kid loved the novelty of the boats, though. Now the whole staff knows us and welcomes us like family when we walk in. The waitresses get our drinks ready without asking and the sushi chef starts putting my daughter's favorite sushi on the boats. Now I realize that my first impression was influenced by the fact that we were going around 2-3pm, which is slow for any restaurant. Let me tell you, the difference between fresh sushi vs. sushi that has been floating around for awhile is out of this world. Their fresh sushi is phenomenal. I'd recommend going exactly at noon or around dinnertime because there are a lot more people, so the atmosphere is more lively and the floating sushi is nice and fresh. One of my favorite things about this place is that all of the plates are the same price, so you don't have to fixate on the color of the plate like you do at other rotating sushi places. I have not yet tried their hibachi dinners, but dining here has become such a special treat for our family that I surely will someday."
