"Struggled a bit with how to review this here. On one hand, the quality of the fish is clearly head and shoulders above your average sushi restaurant. It 's outstanding quality. On the other hand, the prices definitely reflect it. It 's like 9.95 for a regular little tekka roll, for example, compared to like 5-7 anywhere else. I wish I had been better warned ahead of time; Yelp 's price guide is DEFINITELY wrong. They 've taken the combination dinners off the menu, which they have a sign about due to short-staffing as well as apparently all the teriyaki and similar grilled entrees which there is no sign about . I also wouldn 't recommend the tempura- Yelp photos showing the fluffy panko style are now out of date and they 're now using the heavier like carnival-fried-food style. Updated photo attached. TL;DR: stick with the fish, probably special occasions only or when you want to impress an out-of-town guest."

"Phenomenal. Was on a walk while in town and stopped here for something to eat and drink after flying all day. The ramen and dumplings and funaguchi hit the spot. Excellent, really. Service was also perfect, never ran out of water and I was THIRSTY. Not a high end environment but it is comfortable and clean and that's what matters to me."

"The service is top notch. The man serving and taking orders is so nice and accommodating. He is able to do multiple jobs throughout the restaurant and keep up with busy times. The sushi always has been consistently good. My favorites are crunch spicy tuna and the apple maki and both are delicious. Love the cozy atmosphere and the lights and music. We have moved to a different neighborhood and still worth the drive every time to come back here. The hours of operation do seem to have changed. I believe they are closed on Monday and Wednesday now so consider calling ahead if you're unsure if they're open. Wabi Sabi Rotary is definitely one of my favorite spots. Great food, excellent customer service, and reasonably priced."

"This restaurant was obviously severely understaffed. We were told that several people called off, so we ended up waiting a full hour for our food. Guests at the sushi bar who arrived after us were served and finished their meal before we even got ours. The sushi itself was mediocre at best, with huge chunks of wasabi under every piece of nigiri. When we questioned this, we were told it was "the Japanese way", which we found to be quite amusing. Despite the long wait and mediocre food, nothing was taken off our bill, which we also found to be quite humorous."

"The server seemed overwhelmed and was unable to bring me a second beer during my dinner, which only arrived right before the check. He offered to remove it from the bill, but I felt that leaving a review would be more beneficial for them. The cook was very kind and skilled, as was the lady who made sure we were seated promptly and made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was lacking, with my wife and daughter preferring the back area despite it being quite dark and not very enjoyable."

"It's too bad. I came on Saturday at about 12 noon and there were 3 seats at the sushi bar and two tables open and the greeter told me there were no seats for me. The single diner at the end of the sushi bar had already ordered and was eating and he told me 2 other people were joining her. And he said that the tables were reserved. I went back to my car and took a phone call and over the next 30 minutes one couple left and one couple entered.It's too bad. There food is very good, but I will never be back. I guess the greeter does not understand the life value of a customer. Who knows, maybe it was the owner."

"I went to Domo regularly about a decade ago when I lived in Muncie, and every time I travel back to Indiana, I have driven the extra miles just to visit Domo. When I found out the format changed to be fast-served, drive-through style hibachi, I was skeptical... because I loved it SO much before. I've now been back twice, and love the new format. I love traditional hibachi, but this totally works and I'm enjoying the food just as much. Same tasty noodles (my favorite! , a good quantity of food, very fair pricing for the quality and amount you get, and a good amount of variety on the menu. Plus you can get sushi in a drive through!! Love it, and can't wait for my third visit to the new Domo!"

"Edit Not sure if there was a change in management but the quality of sushi was outstanding the last visit. Kitchen foods were okay. Had fish bones in 2 of salmon sushi from omakase. Tuna (akami) smelled fishy out of date. Had high expectation since its operated by Japanese, but NOT worth it at all for this high price range."

"Really good sushi and cooked dishes on the outskirts of Boston. There so many varieties of rolls. They all look delicious. I had a blackboard Snow Mountain Maki which was tempura told topple with crab mayo. Tempura udon was good with additional cost you can add shrimp to it. Spicy seafood and sukiyaki ku udon were so good for the cold pre snow storm evening."

"We had heard great things about this restaurant from some locals who grew up in the Pittsburgh area. When we finally visited Pittsburgh, Beijing Garden was high on our list of places to try. We also dined at a few classic Pittsburgh spots and several highly recommended restaurants, but this one quickly became our favorite. We ended up eating there twice a week! I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10. Everything—from the dishes and portion sizes to the quality and service—was outstanding. We dined with four adults and three children, and were seated right away, with our drinks arriving promptly at the table. We ordered several dishes, each one served fresh and hot. "Customer service: I walked in and was completely ignored. Like I was invisible. The women made a point to walk around me and talk to everyone BUT me. They even served a white man who walked in AFTER me, while I was standing IN FRONT of him. I said nothing and watched them walk around me and ignore me until the sushi chef noticed and made them serve me. Food: VERY GOOD. I ordered 5 bento box, gyoza, chicken wings. When the waitress finally helped me, she was shocked at my huge order. I don 't need to give them another try to know they don 't care much about my kind . But the food is good. "I visited this restaurant on Christmas Day and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. A place that excels in its raw food selection makes a strong statement. I tried the Tako Sunomono and the Houston Roll, along with a few other crunchy rolls during happy hour. The food was fresh and expertly prepared. Our server, Erica S, provided excellent service and made some fantastic recommendations from the menu. "Hasaki just meets the bar for acceptable sushi but i can't say i was either disappointed or happy to have gone. The price is pretty middle of the road $70 for a sushi omakase). Omakase gets served on a platter to you all at once. The fish quality is fine, lots of typical cuts blue fin tuna, mackerel) taste as expected, but feel slightly warm as if they have been sitting). The freshness of the fish doesn't really come through as you might expect from counter top sushi maybe my mistake for not sitting at the counter). The establishment seems to draw people more due to its name and legacy open since 1984) than quality of food. Would probably recommend going to a more expensive place and ordering fewer cuts or going to a much cheaper place and at least eating your fill if craving sushi. Coming here i felt both that i had paid a bit for what i got and was not satiated in fullness or flavor. Agedashi tofu was excellent though."

"I’ll rate it a 3 because the service was satisfactory. The host was friendly, but nothing extraordinary. The restaurant has a laid-back vibe with a very casual atmosphere—nothing fancy here. I’m giving it 3 stars mainly for the food, although I considered giving just 2. The prices are on the higher side, and I wasn’t impressed with the quality. The fish cuts were unevenly sliced and quite thick, and they didn’t taste very fresh. I also tried a tartare appetizer, but that didn’t impress me either."

"I have visited this restaurant numerous times and my go-to roll is always the Number One Roll, Spider Roll. Recently, I discovered that my second favorite roll is the Dragon Roll without avocado, which I can request to be made without avocado. I appreciate that they include a small side salad with the roll. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture this time but I will make sure to update it next time. On Mondays, they offer a special price on Hand Rolls."
