"This restaurant features a pleasant decor and is very clean, which is especially important when serving raw fish. The poke bowl is highly customizable, offering a variety of ingredients. The fish selection is good, and everything is fresh. However, I found the yellow tuna to be overpriced at an additional $1.00, considering the small portion they provided. The staff were friendly, and the prices for dinner are reasonable. For lunch, though, you might find yourself just a few dollars away from a Chirashi bowl of average quality at a typical Japanese restaurant. They also have a self-serve soda fountain and a utensil station. Specialty drinks like Thai tea, guava juice, and tropical juice are available as well. There is ample parking, too. Overall, I would recommend this place."

"So first I don't know if I'm the right person to get a Poki review. So my review is from the Teriyaki chicken with rice that I had it from brown rice. I was able to mix some sauces, so I had a nice little spicy Teriyaki. I felt like the portion size was very good. I went with two friends. They both love this restaurant so on the basis of their experience, it is very good I would go back but I would definitely stay with the Teriyaki chicken."

"The customer service could use some improvement. There was no one ahead of us in line, so the server had nothing to do before we arrived. From the start, I felt rushed, and I’m not sure why. It was my first time here, and I needed some time to review the menu and see my options. Throughout the ordering process, I was hurried along, as if moving quickly was mandatory. It was honestly the most stressful experience I’ve ever had while trying to order food. The way the server kept staring at me while I was making my selection was almost comical, especially since there weren’t even ten people waiting behind me. As for the food, it was just okay—nothing extraordinary. I also felt they should provide a bit more rice; I ordered three scoops but received less than expected. Overall, I think I’ll choose to eat somewhere else next time, where I won’t feel so anxious while ordering."

"I was invited by a couple of colleagues to join them for lunch at Ahipoki on April 18th to take advantage of the recent $7 discount on a 3 scoop bowl. I usually go to the location in Chandler and have always had a good experience there. However, we decided to visit the 7th Avenue and McDowell location this time. We arrived at 11:30 am and our orders were taken promptly. Unfortunately, the 3 scoops we received were more like 2 scoops and they were already out of some of the usual toppings. Based on this visit, we will be avoiding this location in the future and sticking with the ones that are better managed. Ahipoki, your quality control seems to be slipping and this could negatively impact your profits in the long run."

"Honestly, Ahipoki is incredibly good, but lately, I've experienced some service issues. There's a smaller female employee who has been quite stingy with the portions. I understand that extra scoops come at an additional cost, but in the past, I’ve always received at least two scoops during my visits. Even with the taller male staff member there, he still gives a minimum of two scoops. However, when she takes your bowl, she only gives one scoop. It’s frustrating because the size of their scoops just doesn't justify the price you’re paying, especially when you have to pay extra for a second scoop. Additionally, she can be a bit snappy if you place your order and she can't hear you. My friend ordered miso soup but didn't receive it. Even so, I’m not going to stop going because the food is that good!"

"Seldom do I leave a review, unless the establishment is worth to write about.The latter is certainly the case here!I have been looking for a casual Poke Sashimi restaurant with FRESH fish that not only provides fresh ingredients, but also, provides genuine and friendly guest service.Ahi Poki is perfect for a quick lunch or for dinner with an elaborate menu and different sauces to choose from.This particular restaurant location used to be horrid under the old management, as I sorely recall.However, since Lupe, the new General Manager, and her team have taken the Queen Creek location under her their wings, it has overnight become a magnificent restaurant and it fulfils every single feature I have a pet peeve upon:FRESH INGREDIENTS, CLEANLINESS, a delicious and diverse menu to choose from and, last, but not least, GENUINE HOSPITALITY.Since the change of management I have dined in as well as ordered for take out on numerous occasions, and each and every single time I devoured the food at the Queen Creek Ahi Poki!Lupe and her team have truly turned this place around and I cannot possibly sing enough praises about how DELICIOUS FRESH their fish and food is.It is delectable and it is worth to devour.But, what caught my attention the most, what is one of my pet peeves and what is of utmost priority to me is also guest service.AhiPoki in Queen Creek not only provides, but in fact excels upon authentic, genuine, PROFESSIONAL and warm hospitality towards their guests, be it for dining in or take-out.On a note of fresh ingredients, their portions are HUGE! "Having an assistant or main manager present always enhances the customer service experience. It is crucial for a business to have someone overseeing the operation to ensure success. Without adequately trained workers, a business may struggle to provide top-notch service. However, Chop Stop excels in this area. I recently visited Ahipoke but was disappointed by the dirty countertops and poor customer service by an employee which led me to choose Chop Stop for dinner instead. The Ahipoke worker seemed agitated when asked for clarification about the meal options, prompting me to cancel my order and go to Chop Stop instead. I hope that next time I visit Ahipoke, the assistant manager or manager will be present to improve the dining and customer experience. Ultimately, I recommend going to Chop Stop."

"Final review: 1.4 stars rounded to 1 Better options: Koibito and Chula?s (4 stars) I've been coming here for a few years. The quality of the ingredients, portion sizes, prices and service have dropped off from a cliff as it is opening hours. Quality: Bad, D. The fish they serve is not fresh. My wife and I had food poisoning after the experience last night. Portions of fish and expensive sides are significantly smaller. Our $16 bowls were essentially reissalates with minimal portions of pampered fish. Price: relative to quality, it is garbage. Chula seafood and Koibito are significantly fresher, the fish content is MUCH larger, and prices are very comparable. Service: poor. The staff clearly sees high sales. The store smells like a urinal cake. Many critical changes are needed here."

"The Positives: Very organized, very clean, very friendly service. Standing in front of the poke all the fish looked bright and fresh. Rice was on point and there is a lot of variety of toppings. The Negatives: 1. My server (I'm guessing owner/manager/both) although SUPER PLEASANT AND FRIENDLY was very skimpy on the portion scoops (very small, maybe a 1/2 Tbsp size scoop of fish). I had to upgrade from reg. to large because the portion was so small. 2. The Luau tuna was bland, Spicy salmon was not spicy (which was ok, because I added my own spicy afterward). 3. Almost choked on a fish bone. Yes, there are bones in fish,but having fish bones is not a good thing in your poke. 4. It's not cool to chew on onion peels either while trying to enjoy your poke bowl. I'm really not trying to write a negative review, just stating some facts. Maybe it was just a one time thing, but sometimes it's all that it takes. Again, the staff is super friendly, clean, organized. This experience just didn't jive with me."

"This restaurant is fantastic! It's conveniently located right across from my gym, making it ideal for my nutritious meals. As a pescatarian, I often struggle to find good poke in the Inland Empire, but this place delivers. The fish is incredibly fresh, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I absolutely love the flooring, too! It's now my go-to spot, and I've even recommended it to my daughter, who lives just up the street!"
