However, if you're sensitive to low lighting, this might not be the best choice for you. The seating is limited, which allows for a nice flow, and you can easily have a private conversation. The service was excellent; the staff was attentive and well-informed about the menu. The food was truly outstanding! The portion sizes felt just right for the price, and the quality was exceptional. My husband and I shared Udon and three regular sushi rolls, and each bite was fantastic. The quality of the tuna and salmon used in our sushi was top-notch. After such a wonderful dining experience, we will definitely be coming back in the future!"

"This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. We usually enjoy teriyaki dinners at Japanese restaurants, but both the beef and salmon we ordered were lukewarm rather than sizzling hot, and they were drenched in store-bought soy sauce. We wouldn't recommend the teriyaki dinners or the boxed deep-fried calamari here. We shared our concerns with the manager since no one came by to check on our meal. While I was inclined to send the food back, my husband, being too hungry, decided to eat it instead of waiting. The manager explained that sushi is their specialty, not the dishes we chose. They did offer some compensation for our dissatisfaction. I even suggested that they consider removing those particular items from their menu. Overall, we were quite disappointed with our experience."

"Lovely dinner at Cafe Ginger. Attentive but private service from Kalliae this evening. Delicious food Sesame chicken, Eggplant chicken, fried pork and vegetable dumplings) . Nice atmosphere for holidays and music at perfect dining level and appropriate to upscale dining. From arrival to departure you are certainly made to feel welcome and this has become our new upscale Chinese restaurant after years at Kams in Montrose. Sadly Kams is no more but a new chapter at Cafe Ginger is off to a delightful start."

"I’ve been coming to this place for years and once turned Sanma, it has become my #1 GO-TO on the island. The woman on the phone is so welcoming and kind, the people that work there are great, and the energy of the environment is welcoming as well. The food is ALWAYS fresh which is difficult to come by time and time again, so they’re consistent and of quality, for sure. "I absolutely love this restaurant! We always make it a point to celebrate special occasions here, and we always request Ming as our server because he is truly the best. (Just a heads up, he has Mondays off.) The entire staff is fantastic! I just wish I were young enough to visit weekly. The regular dining area is wonderful, and the bar is great too. I can't comment on the sushi since I don't eat it. As for kid-friendliness, the kids always have a great time!"
