"This restaurant is a delightful gem with amazing food! The ambiance is charming, with candles on the tables that create a cozy and inviting atmosphere—perfect for a romantic date night. However, if you're sensitive to low lighting, this might not be the best choice for you. The seating is limited, which allows for a nice flow, and you can easily have a private conversation. The service was excellent; the staff was attentive and well-informed about the menu. The food was truly outstanding! The portion sizes felt just right for the price, and the quality was exceptional. My husband and I shared Udon and three regular sushi rolls, and each bite was fantastic. The quality of the tuna and salmon used in our sushi was top-notch. After such a wonderful dining experience, we will definitely be coming back in the future!"

I've been here for four years, great sushi. Certainly visit during lunch (by 4:00), at 3 reels for $12 along with free salad and fog soup.

Best sushi to order in the neighborhood. They always are quick, their lunch special is a good deal most importantly quality is consistent. Can't recommend enough!

We love this place. Best sushi in ditmars. Not only is the sushi, basic rolls perfect but also the specialty roll are awesome. And they have sake specials, some nights a large for 1$!! Also when you order delivery it comes quite quickly.

Yummy!!! As a Japanese American whose parents had a sushi restaurant, I can honestly say this sushi is delicious, super fresh, and very moderately priced!! The lunch special is an insanely good deal and the sushi for two dinner comes with a ton of pieces that is served on a boat-shaped platter! Everyone is very nice, especially our favorite the super charismatic waitress, Mandy. She is hilarious and will give you tasty candies with your check :

We were searching for an apartment in Astoria and decided to have lunch at this restaurant. What a wonderful discovery! The food specialties are fantastic, the service is quick and friendly, and the dining room is lovely. The sushi is exceptional. When we returned to the area the following week, we stopped by again and it did not disappoint. We can't wait to enjoy more delicious meals from Sakura, both dine-in and for delivery, once we move.
