"Fresh, Delicious, and Affordable! Green Apple Delight is my go-to spot for smoothies and açaí bowls! The ingredients are always fresh, the frozen yogurt is super creamy, and the variety of toppings is amazing. The staff is friendly, and the place has a clean, casual vibe. Prices are very reasonable — great value for what you get. I highly recommend trying their mango smoothie and custom açaí bowl. Can’t wait to go back when they open at 8 AM!"

"The purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this restaurant in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review. Atmosphere: This place is decently spacious, warm, and clean on the side where customers order. Service: Service has its positives and negatives. Its positives are that they will try to take your order as soon as you're ready and will listen to how you want your order done. The negatives are that they don't serve everything they have on their menu every day, and there is a lack of food handling hygiene. I saw how many times two people would share the same dishcloth to clean the cutting board, clean their knives, and cut my wrap with that same knife. Personally, I believe a dishcloth shouldn't be used that way, especially when you're handling food. I know many restaurants do that exact thing, something that should really come to an end because customers pay to have their food prepared in a hygienic way. Food: Despite the negatives I mentioned before, I decided to complete the experience buying at this place. I ordered the Spring Wrap and the Salsalito Turkey in a wrap. Both of them were fine. However, I would not order again, considering the lack of hygiene. Price: There is not much to say about their prices. They are somewhat fair, taking in mind the negatives."

"I visited Hoja Santa on a hot August night and noticed there was no air conditioning inside, plus there was an unpleasant smell upon entering. The service, however, was excellent—the waiter was very attentive. Prices were reasonable; with two entrees, an appetizer, and two drinks, my bill came to $90 including tip. The shrimp tacos were fantastic, but the enchiladas were overly salty—I even had trouble sleeping afterward. Despite the saltiness, I kept eating because I was so hungry. Overall, I believe there are better spots in Astoria where you can spend $90 and enjoy better food with air conditioning."

"You haven't experienced a "Good Time" until you've visited this place! I've been to the brunch show twice, and it's fantastic. The staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is filled with love and laughter, the food is delicious, and the Mimosas keep coming without costing a fortune. It's definitely a "Must Do!" at least once."

"This place is the bestttttt. I would give it 5 stars on their food alone because from their fresh bagels, bialys, cream cheese, and all the various egg sandwich offerings, they make GREAT breakfast food. But the service is so excellent too. The super friendly staff really completes the picture of the overall perfect spot to grab a classic New York breakfast. Also, try the green sauce. I don't know what's in it (jalapeño? cilantro?? ?? but it was friggin' delicious with my eggs. Please stay on 30th ave forever, thank you."

"This restaurant offers a great selection of Italian groceries, and their salads, antipasto, and prepared dishes like arancini are truly delicious. They have an extensive sandwich menu, so you can't go wrong there. However, I'm giving it 4 stars because their prepared pasta dishes are disappointing, which is unfortunate given how great the rest of the menu is. The meatballs tend to be quite dense and lack flavor, and the pasta sauces come across as a bit bland. I would definitely recommend skipping those, but everything else is definitely worth a try!"

"There are some bagel places in Astoria, but Toast Roast was my way when I lived there. The Bagels are as good as any in the neighborhood, and although not as wide as other places, even more than enough choice and still fresh. Toast Roast also has a better coffee than the other bagel places in Astoria, and my children love their hot chocolate and apple wine (in summer, warm in winter). Breakfast plates (eggs, domestic frits, pancakes, bacon, sausage, etc. was exactly what you would expect. Not gourmet, but that's not what you're going to T R. Sandwiches were also exactly what you would expect. A few times I got her prefabricated salads later the day and was never disappointed. Like the Bagels they were delicious and a good size for the price. And the last reason for my 5-star rating: the service. Competent and friendly. Really everything you need when you get a bagel, sandwich or salad."

"This is THE best dining experience I have EVER had in Astoria. The drinks were amazing (If you want to try something sweet and experimental get The Red Planet), appetizer (Brie with honey, figs, and mini toasts) was stunning. I got the beautifully plated roasted squash which had a phenomenal peanut butter sauce and toasted pumpkin seeds and boyfriend got the roasted pork dish which he said was the best he’s ever had (I tried a bite and couldn’t argue it was so tender and flavorful). Finished the night with the Mars bar dessert which was the perfect amount to split it was a fudge like dream, with candied thyme on top! Every plate and drink was so wonderfully curated in taste and aesthetic. My tastebuds went on the ride of their lives. We savored every bite and sip. I don’t write many reviews but this if you want a fantastic dining experience this is it. Plates are smaller, but the quality that your getting is beyond compare we left content without feeling overly full as often happens when going out. The service was also fantastic as well! Can’t wait to come back."

"Namaste has a great vegan variety. They have both vegan food and modified drinks such as the chai and malai. I especially love the Chana masala which has delectable ginger in it. They have new ownership since a few months back and the food is even better than with the old ownership. They also have great vegan appetizers such as a cauliflower dish called, Gobi Manchurian and a pineapple spiced one. Highly recommend the place to vegans and of course our non-vegan counterparts who may happen to dine with us."

"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with spring onion pancakes (delicious) and ending with chicken and broccoli (again delicious), the lunch menu (rice, main course and soup) was very cheap and delicious. The environment is wonderful - brick walls and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommended!!"

"This restaurant is a delightful gem with amazing food! The ambiance is charming, with candles on the tables that create a cozy and inviting atmosphere—perfect for a romantic date night. However, if you're sensitive to low lighting, this might not be the best choice for you. The seating is limited, which allows for a nice flow, and you can easily have a private conversation. The service was excellent; the staff was attentive and well-informed about the menu. The food was truly outstanding! The portion sizes felt just right for the price, and the quality was exceptional. My husband and I shared Udon and three regular sushi rolls, and each bite was fantastic. The quality of the tuna and salmon used in our sushi was top-notch. After such a wonderful dining experience, we will definitely be coming back in the future!"

"Always loved this spot until the owner was very rude to some friends that joined us for drink on our reservation. His reply when brought to his attention was very unprofessional and borderline belligerent. For the service and customer experience I would no longer recommend as the ownership doesn’t understand properly comprehend nor understand customer experience etiquette. There are far too many great establishments within NYC where ownership appreciates their clients, I would suggest trying elsewhere."

"I have visited numerous sushi restaurants in Astoria, but Bai Sushi is definitely the top choice. My personal favorites include the Sakura roll, Magma roll, and Samba roll. The lunch specials are reasonably priced and the sushi is always incredibly fresh and tasty. A friend of mine who frequently travels to Japan even mentioned that the sushi here rivals what you can find in Tokyo. Overall, Bai Sushi is a must-try for sushi lovers."

"Went for dinner to catch up with an old friend. I think they only had one waitress on for dinner on a Friday night. Food was very good. Had a cool movie on playing in the bar was a nice night. Under $100 too and we bought a bottle of wine and two main dishes."

"I’m on the edge about recommending this spot because of the service and portions. I’m happy they offer a vegan menu, but not all of the entrees are worth the price especially for this area of queens. Also, with this place being called “vegoist” we were hoping the kitchen would be entirely vegan. The vegan tacos are 3 for $15, so not too badly priced and they’re tasty. The wraps seem to be getting smaller and smaller every week you order it so in my opinion it’s no longer worth the price. The side salad is just mixed greens with pickles on top not even cut (extremely bland). The tortellini is NOT worth it. It was the most expensive dish of everything we ordered and it was 3 bites of food and not seasoned at all. There was only 1 waiter for the entire restaurant and this was not a small place. Everything took forever and when we asked questions the waiter was clearly overwhelmed and not kind. When ordering dessert, we ordered 2 different items and both were out of stock (she told us after waiting 15 minutes for it to arrive). We asked the waitress which ones were in stock and she couldn’t answer without asking chef so we waited a total of a half hour to even order dessert. Even after all this wait and confusion by the waitress she didn’t even comp the dessert or give a discount on our meal. Lastly, they have strobe lights going on constantly and it feels like you’re in a club eating bar food at the price of fine dining."

"I reordered the same items I had two days ago and was disappointed this time. The Fat Burner Smoothie wasn’t really a smoothie but more like melted juice, and the flavor was off, as if the order was made hastily. On top of that, the toast on the Avocado Toast was burnt. My first visit was excellent, but this experience fell short."
