"My husband and I took some clients for a business dinner as they have never been here before. Mind you this bill totaled $600 at the end of our meal. Certainly not cheap for a strip mall location. We were NOT down on 5th Avenue or 3rd Street but we knew that going in. We wanted to take them someplace they’ve never been. We all ordered steaks one well-done, one medium well, and two medium. Thinking this is a Steakhouse, we assumed that they could do the temperatures to our liking and get them right. That was not the case. Another person brought our meals so he had no idea which ones went to which people which I thought was ridiculous. We had to sit there and tell him where to put each plate. We were told they came with mashed potatoes but instead they had some kind of potato wedges. My one guest said “Where’s my mashed potatoes?” and the waitress said “oh we were out of them”, but never asked us if we wanted a replacement of something different before she brought out what she did. My steak tasted like sawdust I couldn’t even cut it. The waitress came by and seemed angry that I wanted to send it back. I would have just said don’t make me another one but I was really looking forward to a good steak. Considering the steak is $75 I would think that it would’ve been right in the first place? They brought the steak back for a second time and it was rare. Almost **** rate, the manager stood over me while I cut it and I said that he could just take it back because the other three people had already almost finished their meal at this point.Gaga was our waitress, and she seemed very annoyed the whole time. My husband wanting to be taken care of gave her a $20 bill from the start. We never got an apology on our steaks and they had left it on the bill. She came over and brought us one piece of Tiramisu for the four of us to share which I guess she thought would make up for the $75 steak.Definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone and I think their prices are out of line. I’m happy to pay for a good steak but with that kind of treatment and service it won’t be here. Very sad that a manager doesn’t even compensate someone back or even apologize."

"My wife and I plus a friend went to location in Bayers Lake this evening. We arrived about 5:25 pm and we received our drinks fairly promptly. We ordered the meal at around 5:35, the two Ladies ordering off the menu and I ordered off the all you could eat pasta special. It went downhill from there. Nothing at all arrived at the table until about 6:05 and this was the complete wrong order, actually for another table. Between the time of the original order and our own food arriving we were not offered bread or salads, even myself under the all you could eat salad and garlic bread. By the time our real ordered arrived at 6:15 I received my bread, salad and lasagna all at the same time, you would think they would have dropped some off while we were waiting. I asked the waiter if I should order more lasagna at the same time he dropped off the actual order as I didn’t want to wait another 45 minutes. He took the order at that time but had to be reminded that I had ordered it after I finished the first order. When he did bring it out it was actually half the portion of the original order….really……Not to mention the bugs in the ladies washroom and overflowing trash!Obviously, anyone really hungry and taking advantage of the all you can eat offer should bring a sleeping bag because they are in for a long wait, not to mention not being asked if I wanted more bread or salad even after the waiter cleared the initial order. I might add the restaurant was busy when we first arrived but by 6 pm there were lots of vacant seats. If you are offering all you can eat at least keep the food coming and don’t let people sit for 45 minutes without even a piece of bread."

"I absolutely loved my food! I've seen this restaurant many times as it is in the same shopping center as my normal Smiths grocery story. It's tucked away and looks small from the outside, but inside was quite spacious and we were very happy with our meal! We made a reservation for 6 people on a Saturday at 5 pm for my sister's birthday dinner. It didn't seem too busy when we went in. Anytime it's my whole family like that I get a little worried about how servers will handle us because my grandma and mom can be a hoot sometimes (in other words, they can be a lot lol). I can't remember our server's name, but he was great and very nice! Our busser was also so helpful! He brought our drinks, brought our bread, answered questions, really nice guy. The restaurant ambiance was nice, almost intimate. It's really dark in there, though. My mom had to turn the flashlight on her phone to see the menu lol The interior is decorated with large western posters, hence the name of the restaurant. Service was very friendly and very fast! The food was great! You get bread with oil and vinegar at the table. The bread was so warm and soft, and it was interesting having the oil and vinegar separate rather than mixed together. We started with the bruschetta, which was four pieces that were big enough to cut in half for everyone to enjoy. It was piled high with bruschetta and was really tangy and super tasty! We all got different things, but I'm going to focus on the foods that I tried. My husband ordered the cajun pasta, which was a special for the night. It had really large shrimp and a very nice flavor. I was debating between the carbonara and the bobbi, so my sister got the carbonara. I tried hers, and I will definitely be getting it next time! I feel like carbonara can be hit or miss with flavor, and this one was great. Nice and creamy, and the portion was quite big. I got the bobbi with penne and it was sooooo good! It was a vodka sauce with specked prosciutto and sun dried tomatoes. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the prosciutto was cooked! I like prosciutto normally, but cooking it gave it a really smoky taste without it being limp. I absolutely loved it! Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. Most of us spent under $20 for our large portions (pasta and pizza). The special my husband got and the chicken dish my brother in law got were between $20 and $30. Overall, I thought it was a nice place with really yummy food in large portions! Anxiety induced questions I had before arriving that may help you: 1. How fancy is this place? You can definitely wear whatever. Because it said fine italian dining, I was worried we would have to dress up. After looking at some review photos of the inside, I could see everyone was really casual. As far as price, I think it's very reasonable for the portions you are getting. 2. Should I make a reservation? For large parties, yes. If it's just a handful of you, then you should be fine. The place wasn't packed or anything when we went at 5pm on a Saturday. 3. Can I look at the menu ahead of time? Food and normal drinks menu, yes. They do have a cocktail menu that is not available online, so if you are the type that needs ample time to look before making a decision, cocktails and alcohol are the only things not mentioned online. 4. Will they split checks? We only needed ours split 2 ways, but they do split checks. Just don't make it anything crazy or complicated, and they will be very nice about it."

"superb! fresh, creative, innovative seafood served in a casually chic and elegant atmosphere. the hotel is located in the heart of the city of las olas in the historic riverside hotel. perfect for business traveling, friends or a romantic dinner. excellent bar and dining room atmosphere. the service is excellent and the personal is knowledgeable and pleasant. While I do not order in the rule “Handcrafted Cocktails”, I ordered the lemon basil vodka cocktail (served with a floating basilikum leaf) on the suggestion of our wonderful server and it served as a prelude for an incredible symphony of seafood. for an appetizer, my wife had made the house special burrata mozzarella with a green bevel pesto, inherited tomaten, occupied with balsam pearls. melt in the mouth delicious. the seafood sampler was incredibly fresh, snuggling, blue-spot oysters, jumbo garnels and lobster kisses to perfection, served with cocktail sauce, horseradik and the perfectly balanced red wine mignonette sauce I had ever. (a must be for an oyster bar, but often overlooked it turned out that the handmade cocktail was the perfect accompaniment to the seafood sampler. the weeping list is extensive and will please everyone more familiar. the “Through the glass selection” consists of an excellent variety and is competitively priced. Of course, two hot hand towels were presented with lemon beautiful, so we could refresh ourselves before the entrée. my wife ordered the key west prawns as main course. two juicy giant slender prawns, served with homemade potato gnocchi in a grana padano, estragon cream sauce with sweet mais. an incredible mélange of creamy quality to complicate the garnels. my entrée was the western florida grouper, perfectly meerte and served with erbsentomat, georgia peaches and a blackberry chef. sweet perfection! many thoughts go into the trim and presentation of appetizers to desserts. eating is as aesthetically pleasant as it is delicious (also up to the art as the coffee was presented at the end of the evening. the desserts can do without the superlative because they are easy....superlativ! red velvet beignets with sea salt caramel gelato and my wife had the chocolate crunch cake with caramel popcorn and sea salt caramel ganache. not much more to say. the descriptions speak for themselves. the menu prices correspond to other devices of this caliber, but not extra wide. kudos an chef toby joseph, who goes over and over with innovative, creative, tasteful and beautifully presented. the personal is knowledgeable, pleasant and well trained. as a southern fisherman and seafood lover who has dimmed on many seafood from key west to the palm beaches to neapel, I must say that wild sea oyster bar and grill is among the best."
