"I sent the following email directly to J.D. Stinson on 1/5/25 but never received a response: Hi J.D. I would have written a review on Google but unfortunately, there are no 0 star ratings. My wife and I ate at the tavern last night and the food was absolutely disgusting. We both had a bowl of the Manhattan clam chowder, which was basically, a bowl of grease- which I can 't believe we were charged $12 each for. I had the roast pork sandwich, which had no flavor, other than a bitter taste. The roll was so saturated that it fell apart. My wife had the caprese sandwich, which also had no taste, other than the bread which tasted like it was soaked in sugar. However, what really infuriated me was that I was charged a 4% credit card fee when I used my debit card to pay for the bill, which your merchant services provider charges you 1% for. In summary, I paid $80 for slop. Me, my wife, children, family, and friends have all eaten at the tavern many times in the past and have never had a bad meal. Perhaps you have changed chefs recently? I never waste my time writing reviews so for me to take my time to reach out to you, speaks of how horrible the food was. Have a good day. I was attempting to address my issue amicably before posting a public review. I assume they do not care about feedback from long term patrons by their lack of concern."
