"This is a non profit with their heart in the right place. Nearby Blueberry cafe had a 2 hour wait for breakfast on a Saturday morning, so I thought I 'd try breakfast/coffee in the BellHOP cafe a couple buildings down in the same plaza. I assumed this place would also be hopping, but when I walked in, there were just 2 tables seated and 2 people in line ahead of me waiting to order. Ordering process was very slow as the owner appeared to be training a new employee. But I was not in a hurry, so I patiently waited. After several minutes it was my turn. I ordered a cappuccino and Breakfast Panini which included egg, cheese, and choice of meat I chose sausage. Like a lot of other restaurants these days the cashier turned around the iPad which prompted for a tip for counter service. As I 'm reviewing the tip options, the cashier gives me the same spiel as he gave to the two people who ordered before me. He explains that they are a non profit and any tips go to paying for the iPad payment subscription. There was also a cash jar. I was told any cash tips go to some charitable group that I wasn 't familiar with. Sounds like it 's not possible to tip the person who is actually providing me service. I sat at the bar and watched the worker prepare the meal only then realizing that the kitchen appliances consisted of a microwave and a toaster. After a minute and 30 seconds, I was served my microwave breakfast panini. Still waiting for my cappuccino, but not wanting the panini to get cold, I dug in. It was surprisingly edible. A few minutes after finishing my food, the cappuccino came in a styrofoam to go cup. Others at the tables had proper coffee mugs, and I was expecting a mug since I said my order was for eat in , but I accepted the cappuccino as served. Summary: If you 're an impatient, demanding foodie, this place is not for you. One the other hand, if you have time and you 're not too picky, this is a fine place to get a cup of coffee and some food."

"The number one place for casual business meetings and brainstorming sessions in downtown Spokane! Our group received careful and excellent table service when tucking in at one of their many booths. The server was kind and prompt with our beers and our food arrived quickly. Those ONION RINGS are to die for! So CRISPY, not soggy. The perfect treat for any discerning PUB FOOD enthusiast. Pints of Harp fueled our brainstorming session and we walked away with some new material for our ::in development:: mobile application, *Pckr (a safe, adult verified, completely anonymous, derriere picture sharing app and incognito social media platform. Check for us in 2023!! . In the lull of conversation Irish Trad music trickled 'pon our ears. Flute and whistle, backed by the hypnotic Bhoudrán drum, kept the mood going for all of our great ideas. Fresh thoughts on our application were ceaseless in such an atmosphere. Some of our nearby drinkers even let us interview them, checking off our to-do list with a little bit of research and development. Just a heads up: I do believe, as we checked against several other Saint Patrick 's Day countdown clocks on the world wild web, that their countdown clock, high above the bar, may be off by several hours and seconds. But, generally, this is okay and a good example of the wacky, at home vibration the dollar bill studded walls emanate at a place like O 'D 's. And how cool is that, the walls are covered in bills from times past over many decades?! All of the bills are signed by the person who put it there at the time. This is a legacy house! One of the dollar bills on the property is even signed by the band Sublime! (Please note: Defacement of currency is a violation of the Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. The thousands of bills, and the important, historical notes written on them, provide a nuance not to be found anywhere else in the City of Spokane. A lovely place, indeed. (Want to know how to get your own dollar bill on the wall or ceiling? Dangit, go on in, order a pint of your favorite, and find out for yourself! Bathrooms are clean, easy to access, and good to go for a one or a two, so I 'd give O 'D 's W.C. a rating of five out of five. Uair is uari, tillidh sinn. Slàinte!"

"The bar downstairs had a vibrant atmosphere with karaoke night happening. Once we were inside, the Maitre D' invited us to wait at the bar, and the hostess asked if we could wait an additional ten minutes for a table with a view of the bay. We happily agreed, enjoying our delicious pineapple mai tais while we waited. When we were finally seated, our original waiter was busy, so we were attended to by Bryan, who I suspect was the understudy. It's not often you see that in fine dining establishments anymore, and it was refreshing. Although he seemed to dart off a bit too often, I had no issues when I had questions. We started with the crab crepe, which was fantastic. For my main dish, I ordered the lobster, while my girlfriend chose the rum-marinated pork with banana chutney. My first bite of her pork was a bit dry, but a deeper taste from the tenderloin was wonderfully moist. And that banana chutney—absolutely delightful. The lobster I had was indulgent, but I actually preferred her dish. I paired my meal with a rosé wine that turned out to be Woodbridge 2013 White Zinfandel—one of the smoothest wines I've had in years. I could imagine Robert Mondavi doing cartwheels over this vintage! I would gladly pay $50 for that wine in a blind tasting. So, choosing that as your house wine pairing for seafood would be a brilliant move. In summary, we enjoyed excellent service, outstanding food, and an incredible view."
