"Fiancé 's drink came in a chipped glass. We asked the server for a new drink, but they just put the old drink in a new glass. Crab cakes were subpar and the sauce was borderline inedible. And forget ambiance, we were sat next to a 12 top with a bunch of preteen boys. Really disappointing."

"This place is fantastic!! We were greeted by the owner, Carmine upon arrival, and he checked in on us several times. Once seated, our waiter Juan was super knowledgeable about the menu and made some excellent suggestions for us. We had the risotto balls as an appetizer and then shared the lobster ravioli (delicious sauce) and the chicken picante that had great flavor and the right amount of heat. We then rounded it out with the Affogato and Tiramisu, both delicious... and since we were celebrating a birthday, they brought out amazing warm biscotti and sang Happy Birthday!! It was the perfect evening. Highly recommend and excited to go back."

"Had an absolutely amazing experience! The staff is so kind, and one word describes the amazing food: delectable! Everything was perfectly seasoned, perfectly done and was mouthwatering! It is reservation only, busy on a Monday, when you get seated they give you mini samples along with the bread and olive oil dip. The calamari was amazing, crispy and sweet. It melted in your mouth, so heavenly and perfect. I got the stuffed flounder with veggies, it was beyond delicious. Even taking it home to reheat it was amazing! I highly recommend! The sauce was almost like lobster bisque and it was, mmm chefs kiss. High high compliments to the chef and to the amazing staff! My boyfriend got the steak with shrimp and veggies as well, cooked to perfection and was absolutely Devine. Beyond amazing experience and will definitely be making more reservations in the future."

"Upon our arrival the host did not have our reservation that we made through Open Table but since there was only one table occupied on a Saturday night we were seated promptly. The waiter didn’t have a clue as to any of the items on the menu and had difficulty getting our simple order correct . Other than the Burrata and Prosciutto appetizer, each of our parties entrees were tasteless and of poor quality. The portions were small and the only starch included was stale bread. The setting became very loud due to a large gathering at the bar which is in the same room as the restaurant tables. The waiter never asked us how our food was and basically just left us after clearing our plates without offering coffee or dessert. We had to track the waiter down for the check which was a lot more than expected especially considering the quality and quantity of the food and drink that we had ordered. We wanted to try this new restaurant with the hopes of it being a good experience and a successful new restaurant in the area. Unfortunately, due to our experience we will not be returning."

"The restaurant is simply first class, white linen tables decorated with roses and the entire restaurant presented a beautiful ambience. The food was superb. Service equally fantastic, We had crab cakes for an appetizer and being from New Orleans I was skeptical that it would be a good choice but boy was I surprised with how well it was prepared. Just excellent. The blackened halibut was lightly blackened and prepared perfectly. A must if you eat there. Likewise, the snapper was delicious. Most desserts were made in house and all will more than satisfy the sweetest tooth. Overall on a 0-10 scale I give the Creeks a 12! It’s definitely now my favorite restaurant in Boerne and the surrounding areas. Also you can eat outside on a beautifully decked out area overlooking water. What more can you ask for? Oh, a good musician? They had that as well!"

"I had a terrific experience at Fabio’s!! We came here to celebrate my dad’s birthday and the service was 10/10! The food was delicious! We ordered wings, salads, penne alla vodka with chicken, broiled salmon dish, chicken alla fabio, chicken parm, chicken scarpariello, shrimp cocktail, mozzarella sticks, fried calamari areabbiata, Zucchini Linguini, shrimp linguini alfredo and the tilapia marechiara. Everyone enjoyed their selections and the portions were LARGE! I want to go back over and over again. Just as I type, I am thinking about reserving another date this week. This place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend Fabio’s for a nice night with family or friends. The music was great too!! I think I truly found my new favorite place!!!! FIVE STARS ACROSS THE BOARD!!!!"

"Good food good atmosphere. Staff training is obviously very important to the management team Our waiter had a list of like a dozen specials that he delivered perfectly while also explaining what the fancy Italian names mean. Only criticism was one of our beers was expired on bottle. I am sure it was an innocent mistake caused by a shut down and lower diner volumes. Tasted fine only noticed after seeing this at other restaurants. Overall great experience id recommend going."

"We found this old school Italian steakhouse near Massapequa, with Frank Sinatra playing in the background. My wife and I were seated at a table in the back by our friendly waiter, Pepe. We started with a house cab and a peach old fashioned, followed by clams and oysters on the half shell and a pear salad. The seafood was fresh and briny, and the pear salad was delicious with bacon mixed in. For our main course, we decided to share the bone-in filet with black truffle mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were smooth and tasty. Instead of a dessert menu, the desserts were presented on a tray. We chose the crème brûlée, which was a satisfying end to our meal. Pepe provided excellent service throughout our dinner, and we left feeling full and satisfied. We will definitely be returning to this place in the future."

"When we ordered appetizers, we informed the staff about the gift card. However, when we presented it, the waitress insisted that we needed the original paper with the amount listed on it. We explained that it was a gift card and that she should just be able to swipe it. She insisted that she needed the paper. Confused, I asked to speak with the manager, and she assured us that either her sister or the manager would come to help us. This was during our appetizers, but no one ever came. In the end, they took $50 off our bill but kept the gift card. It felt incredibly unfair. We asked them to add the $50 back to our bill and return the gift card. What a disappointing experience. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere."

"We drove two hours to my husband's birthday brunch on Sunday. We were hoping to sit outside and watch the freighters go by. The outside deck was closed and that was sad as it was such a beautiful day. This was not mentioned on their website. Our waiter Tony was personable and perfect. He was the best part of our dining experience. We won't be back as the food was only fair and a disappointment. There were several options, but the fish was mushy, the beef and peppers were tough, the eggs benedict were overcooked, the bacon was too salty. The desserts were substandard. The peach cobbler was made from canned peaches, the eclairs and strudel were still frozen. My husband liked the waffles, roast beef, ham, and breakfast sausages. Others had told us the food wasn't great but we wanted to eat outside so we took a chance. We should have listened to our friends and family."

"Birthday dinner with 9 people. Appetizers were fried smelts, calamari, eggplant rollatini, meatballs and antipasto. All quite delicious. Everyone shared. Martinis ordered were Tito’s Cosmos and Bombay Sapphire Martinis. Perfectly chilled and balanced drinks. Expresso was hot and steamy. Dinners included Eggplant Pizza (more like a grilled flatbread) Pappardelle Alla Bolognese (great pasta with homemade meat sauce), Shrimp Scampi, Sirloin Alla Mama (perfectly cooked med rare), Cheese Raviolis, and more. I personally tasted everyone’s meal and they were each exceptionally good. Out family has a wonderful time. Service was great. The restaurant was relatively quite. A wonderful time was had for all."

"I was excited to try this new restaurant. Absolutely do not eat here. I made a reservation and after 40 minutes, they kicked us out!!! Yes!!!! It was not that we were overstaying. They did not lets us finish our drinks and took the water off the table and stated that they needed the table for a bigger party. We weren't allowed to order desert or coffee. I was in shock!!! I did approach the owner and he gave me a false apology. I live in the North End and there are plenty of restaurants to go to. AVOID this one. I'm not one to write bad reviews (only good ones), but I had to as I, again, was totally baffled. Had I known I would not have left the 25% tip. Once they got our money......we were discarded."
