"Paesano of Mulberry Street left much to be desired, particularly when it came to service. We waited an unreasonably long 40 minutes for our food, while other tables who arrived after us were served much earlier. It was frustrating and disappointing, to say the least. When the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming—just okay at best. Overall, the service really overshadowed the entire experience, and unfortunately, it’s not a place we’d recommend based on this visit."

Really enjoyed our meal here. The Bolognese and Alfredo pastas were great, and the Chicken Parmigiana was delicious! The Veal Marsala was not as enjoyable. The atmosphere was nice, cozy and inviting, with a nice relaxed vibe. Would definitely return ! View menu

All good! I went with some friends for my bestie birthday and had a fabulous dinner! The table was outside and it was a little crowded but it was ok. The service was great, the staff always was pending of us. And the food was so delicious! My bestie ordered an osobuco and she said it was the best one she tried. And I ordered fettuccine al pesto omg so so tasty! I loved it! Thank you guys!! You are doing an amazing job!!

We had an amazing meal here with our son. Food was perfect and the service couldn’t have been better. All staff were friendly and attentive, even though the Italian festival was on and it was busy. I had the lobster ravioli which was just amazing, my husband had veal parmigiana which he thoroughly enjoyed and my son couldn’t praise the ‘proper’ Italian pizza he had! Would absolutely visit again if we are back in New York!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
