"Is it fair to be more critical of a high-end restaurant compared to a moderately priced or budget-friendly one? In my opinion, yes. I paid $190 for a dinner for two, including the tip, so I expect close to perfection. However, I felt like they neglected us a bit since we were seated in a corner as a party of two. We noticed that other diners who arrived after us were served bread before us, and my husband had to flag down a server for ours and his wine, which seemed to have been forgotten. The Escargot he ordered was delicious and piping hot, but our salads were overly salty. Our main courses (veal parm and spaghetti for him, and a special pasta dish for me) were enjoyable, although mine arrived lukewarm. While my husband was pleased with his additional wine, coffee, and dessert, I felt that the overall experience fell short considering the high price. Additionally, I found it frustrating that the waiter rushed through reciting the extensive list of specials and desserts, making it difficult to make a decision. Despite my husband's fondness for the cozy atmosphere, I personally did not enjoy the restaurant."
