"This is one of my go to spots in GP Woods for a nice casual Italian dinner that's delicious. However, last night the service was painfully slow and inattentive. We were seated in the bar area, and while we each received a drink in good time, we were left there with no offer to take an order for dinner. After about 30 minute, we still saw no one who appeared to be available to do this and no one had asked or offered. I got up and asked one of the servers using the computer in the back if she could find someone to take our food order. When someone finally arrived, we ordered, and waited. And waited. And waited. On soup, on some bread, and on our entrees. When the entrees finally arrived my strategic friend asked the server for boxes and the bill immediately, as we were now late for an event. We scarfed down the food which was delicious, hot and plentiful but it wasn't as enjoyable because we now had to rush. If you have lots of time, go for it. If you are on any kind of a schedule or a bit hungry when you arrive, not a good choice. I hope they iron out these issues because this is really a great spot."

"Our experience at this restaurant was a bit chaotic. The food was good, but the service was lacking. We ordered appetizers, soup, and entrees which all came out at once, despite our request for them to come out one at a time. The waitress seemed rushed and disorganized, coming back multiple times to confirm our order. Additionally, she was distracted by her phone ringing in the lobby. Overall, it was not the relaxing dining experience we were hoping for. We will be looking for a different restaurant option next time."

"Now, let me share the good and the bad. The restaurant's interior is really nice, and we were greeted by a very professional and friendly waitress who quickly took our drink orders and returned in no time. We were impressed by the menu and even made plans to return in the future. When it came to the food, the cream of crab soup was fantastic, and the clams were good as well. My wife ordered a porterhouse steak (since she had indulged in a lot of seafood over the weekend), while I opted for the all-you-can-eat crabs. She ordered her steak medium, but it arrived well done—not in a good way. The waitress was accommodating and took it back. Unfortunately, my crabs seemed like they had been precooked and then steamed again, which affected their taste. The claws were also lacking in flavor, indicating they might have been overcooked or poorly reheated. When my wife received her second steak, it was very rare. She sent it back again, and when it finally came back, it was cooked properly, but by then, we were ready to leave. I managed to eat only about eight claws, and that was a struggle. We loved the atmosphere and appreciated the service, but the food left a lot to be desired. I hope it was just an off night for them. We'll give it another try during the season. Thank you for listening; at least we know what to expect next time!"

"My wife I each ordered soup an entree. After a long wait, the soup never came both entrees were not what we ordered. Restaurant staff were not that busy (even though it was the Saturday evening two days following Valentine's Day), and there was no good reason for the screw up. The restaurant did nothing to compensate or correct the problems. Definitely not going back will convey this horrible dining experience to our friends."

"We've eaten at the Brick in the past, mainly for lunch. On those occasions it was fine.This dinner was very disappointing. The server tried his best but was obviously untrained and inexperienced. One guest ordered a glass of cabernet, and said it tasted like the bottle had been opened for several days. He drank it anyway and ordered another but asked for it to come from a new bottle. The server then said the original bottle had been open for two or three days. (At least he was honest. food was just okay. Crab cakes are a featured item on the menu, but they were out. When serving the entrée, the waiter brought the meals on a big tray but had forgotten to clear the appetizer dishes, so he had to do both at the same time while balancing the tray. A near disaster. We won't be going back anytime soon."

"We tried this spot for the first time. At first we couldn't find it. It is hard to tell from the street that it is an Italian Restaurant. We sat outside on the patio next to the empty flower boxes. The little courtyard in the front has a water fountain that is not operating, no flowers planted, just stones, and the hedges are covered in spider webs. The flower boxes were filled with rock and dirt with no plants in it. I feel they are missing an opportunity for ambiance on the patio. The physcial menus were in bad shape as well. The service was slow. There were two other tables and it took a long while for our food to come out. I was beginning to think they may come out to tell us they ran out of something because of how long it took but they didn't. The salad was just a bagged salad on a plate. Our dishes were mediocre without a lot of flavor. My guess is they utilize a restaurant supplier for the meals rather being homemade and simply defrost/heat items. The red sauce is bland."

"(4,5 stars. The food was excellent and the restaurant itself has such a beautiful atmosphere. We definitely come back! The only reason I did a half star is that we came between lunch and dinner hours (about 3pm and it was almost completely empty, but waiting for our appetizers/drinks and then dinner seemed too long. (Maybe 15-20 minutes wait for the breadsticks/Salad/Sangria and then another 25-30 for our dinner. The dinners were generous (for the price and the Sangrias excellent. My Cannoli felt something on the small side for $7.50 price tag, but it's a restaurant. Very recommended!"

"The grilled cheese with bacon, tomato and provolone on rye (one of the day's specials) and the vegetable soup were yummy. For the homemade dessert that comes with the special I chose the chocolate silk pie on Graham cracker crust. I opted out if the whipped cream topping though. I like my chocolate unadulterated!! Despite the sign asking patrons to be patient with service because of a staffing shortage, our service did not seem delayed."

"This restaurant has a charming atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. My entire family enjoyed their meals, which included a Philly Cheesesteak, Pasta Primavera, and burgers. "I made reservations weeks in advance. They stuck us at a small, undraped, table in a dark section with a slanted ceiling. My husband had to duck to not hit his head. There was no light or candle on the table or above. We had to use our cellphone flashlight to read the menu. We were totally ignored until we flagged a server down who took our order. She took over saying our server was so busy. Server turned out good after that. My veal parm was burnt, overcooked. We have dined there many times before but this was a bad experience and it will be along time before we even consider it again."

"Absolutely amazing! Me and my mother dined here one evening on a quick trip through the small town. The inside is beautiful, with high ceilings and modern lighting. The service was outstanding, I have an egg allergy and most places give me issues when changes are needed, however, this was not the case. Our waiter made sure many times my dish was alright for me! We ordered drinks off of their specialty cocktail menu, and they were both extremely delicious. I would recommend the chicken piccata ! The sauce was so good I could’ve drank it! "I found your restaurant on the way to Atlantic City about 4 years ago. I live in Northeast Philadelphia and there was a traffic jam and my friend Arnie and I decided to try your restaurant. What a treasure we found! The food was absolutely delicious the appetizer, tomato caprese with the tomato, cheese and basil is the greatest! I get that every time I come to your restaurant. I have also recommended your restaurant to my manager at the insurance company where I work and she has since booked dinners when we have out of state visitors. I have heard great comments from them after dining at your restaurant. I recently took my friend and brother last Saturday for a New Year's treat. Again it was superb! We ended up going to your outside lounge where we enjoyed Final Vinyl. They were a great band and played a variety of hits from famous artists. We heard they were coming back in March and believe me, we will be there. Whatever you guys are doing, keep it up...You definitely are a First class restaurant in every way."

"We showed up here tonight. Sure, it was early on Sunday night, and we were the only diners. Above all, we must say that dinner was just excellent. I should first say that the restaurant is the simple, personal statement of the owner. The room is simple, underlined, tasteful, a white tablecloth type of space, but small and comfortable. My wife had the seafood ravioli and I had the crab, pine nuts, tomatoes, spinach and potato gnocchi. Both were just excellent. Flavors were mixed, not mutated. Both the pasta and the gnocchi were made in the house, light and perfectly cooked. Portions were plentiful without being overwhelming. The plates came out of the kitchen when they were finished, hot drilled. I could see where this could be more difficult in a busy night, but the room is not so big to make a busy night overwhelming. I can say that we were happy to have chosen this restorer this evening, and I will recommend it to you."
