"We've lived in Westford for a few years now and we never knew of this wonderful place until a few weeks ago! We're so happy we found this lovely gem of a restaurant.They have delicious food, affordable prices with a very friendly and personable staff which gives it a small town kinda feeling. What more could you ask for?! This is now our new favorite place and we will definitely be returning customers for sure. "I didn't get to try anything because when I got there at about 850pm, the waitresses said they were closed. I said well google it says you are closed at 10pm on Saturdays, and she very non chalantly replied they've been closing at 9 since the pandemic and it needs to be fixed. Poor customer service in my opinion. If the hours have changed, please do your part as a business to make sure your hours reflect correctly. Not to mention there was a raggedy sign on the front door letting the customers know their entree prices went up $3 but nothing correcting the hours. Please do better! Better yet update your menus and hours, it would look more professional!"

"I stopped in for lunch while passing through Huntingdon, and I'm so glad I did! You need to venture off the main road and head downtown, but it's absolutely worth it. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and the service was charming. This was such a delightful discovery in this surprisingly lovely college town. Be sure to try the local wine, Hungry Run; it was a generous pour at an outstanding price. We actually left the restaurant to go to the winery to buy some bottles, but unfortunately, they had closed early for Christmas Eve. We'll definitely be visiting both the restaurant and the winery again the next time we're in the area!"

"The Back Porch has been a family favorite for many years, but Easter dinner on Sunday was a true disappointment for us. Salad was good but we miss the basket of fresh bread and muffins (they even used to serve apple butter, but not for years now); the small rolls were just OK. Menu was standard but the only seafood option was scallops or salmon added to a salad or entree....what happened to the walnut salmon small plate? We had an underwhelming plate of pasta with soupy vodka sauce and a tiny, thin, dried piece of grilled salmon on the side. Service was loud and snippy, when I said I thought the pasta was penne, the reply was No, spaghetti . Sides used to come with an entree and we were not advised that the ala carte sides were large enough to share but heard a neighboring table being told, after we ordered. "It was very cold in the restaurant. No music playing, not much “jolly” Scallops were very salty, but edible. Soup was fantastic and plenty of it. Prime rib was decent but not as tender as it could be. Carrots and cauliflower delicious but the trice baked potatoes were baked a few more than twice. Very small and underwhelming. Jeremy was delightful. We enjoyed ourselves and ate our food overall."

"Our time at Elaine’s was too good to be true great rooms, cute boutique, great restaurant and bars but unfortunately the service is not on point. After a very expensive weekend, multiple outfits purchased, several dinners and breakfasts eaten and drinks served but ultimately one bad service interaction can really put you off from a place. We enjoyed stopping by the bar and getting a quick drink before our reservation or plans for the evening. We let our server know we would only be staying for a quick drink, she took our order shortly came back grabbed our menus and said while shaking her head at us “if you don’t order food you need to go order at the bar and sit over there” and then canceled our drink order. Disappointing that management will not address these problems and lets their staff treat paying customers poorly and rudely."

"Daniel was a perfect waiter. Very attentive as was the helper who constantly filled water glasses and cleared table. I didn’t get the owner’s name but she is such a welcoming hostess who visited each table to greet customers. The food was so delicious from the tossed salad prepared something table side and tasty soup to a nice sized portion of tender veal. The atmosphere so festive with Christmas music playing. My birthday celebration was so memorable. I also noticed the takeout ordering is so easy as they have assigned parking g spot so you don’t have to get out of your car to pickup. Parking: Parking on street in front of Moro’s. Didn’t pay attention to other parking area. "I was very excited to receive my food. However, once it arrived I was disappointed. The Seafood Jambalaya was below my expectations. Although it looked pretty, I was expecting a full flavor profile but everything tasted like it was only cooked in a spicy tomato paste or sauce. It had plenty of mussels in top but I found one shrimp and a few pieces of sausage within the rice. The Shrimp Lejon was tuff like it cooked a little too long. The Sage Soup was okay."

"I don’t understand how this place is still in business. We had reservations for Valentine’s Day. We ordered escargot for an appetizer, which was OK, and I had a bowl of soup which was also OK. But we had to flag down our server for everything, she never came to check on us, so anytime we wanted something else we had to track her down. And it took forever for any food or drinks to come. By the time we got our entrees, we had already been there for almost hours. When we received our entrees, they were almost inedible. I felt like I was on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. The seafood and steak had obviously been frozen, was way over cooked, rubbery, and completely flavorless. I could hardly chew the shrimp it was so over cooked. For a “steak and seafood” place, and with the prices they charge (my entree was it was completely ridiculous. We ended up sending the entrees back, just paying for the appetizers and drinks, and leaving. Went across the street to the hibachi grill and had a delicious meal for half the price."

"The best at the top! The staff is completely stellar, supported by phenomenal management. Our social group has monthly events up there stairs in private space. You take care of each of our needs EVERY TIME! Even in place of possible problems, they address them directly and there and compensate for all possible problems. What about the TRUE MANAGEMENT? We will be long-term business partners of this place and will refer them to everyone! We are currently in the contract for the next year to continue our business efforts with Parkers of White Marsh. "This is not a complaint about Ruggeri's. This is a complaint about Open Table, which allowed us to book a reservation at a restaurant that seems to be closed for construction. When we arrived at the restaurant and discovered it was closed, Open Table would not allow me to cancel the reservation and make a new one. It repeatedly instructed me to call the restaurant, but my calls went unanswered. Open Table, please ensure that the restaurants listed on your site are open for business! And if they are not, please allow customers to cancel their reservations and make alternative arrangements."

"My 2nd time here and I like the food very much. I took my cousin, who was visiting me over Thanksgiving from Columbia, Md, there on Saturday. We had reservations. That hostess was so unfriendly. She never greeted us and when I told her we had reservations she just said “follow me”. She took us to a table next to the bathroom and we told her we wanted another table we saw that was a 2 seater and empty. My cousin said TO ME that she doesn’t sit next to the restroom and the rude hostess replied angrily “I don’t choose the seats, the computer does”. I was hoping our waitress would be pleasant and thankfully she was as. The only problem with her was giving us our check over a dirty plate filled table. She never removed all those dirty dishes while we were there. I even went to the restroom and they were still there as my cousin waited at the table for me. Oh well. Because I like the food so much I will return and possibly corrections are made. That hostess has been spoken of as horrible by other patrons so the owner needs to address this."
