"On a positive note, the ambiance is charming, though there was a rather unusual singer performing during our visit. As for the food, the bread was passable, but that’s where the compliments end. While the pasta and chicken were cooked properly, both lacked seasoning, resulting in an overall bland dish. I’ve never dined at an Italian restaurant without being offered fresh parmesan cheese, and the chicken piccata was sadly devoid of lemon flavor, with no fresh lemon on the side. And where were the capers?
This restaurant claims to be Italian, but it feels more like an American eatery trying to mimic an Italian experience. If you’re okay with navigating lots of stairs, can tolerate slow and ineffective service, and don’t mind bland food in a cute setting, then this place might be for you."
