"Magical experience. We were guests in the city, visiting from ohio and were taken here for dinner knowing nothing of the place. it was a rare, cold rainy day in LA... and Paru's was a haven in the storm! wonderful atmosphere! decorations, family photos, plants, cozy size, metal chalices, the smell of the food cooking... it all seemed so special. the food was wonderful! despite the magnitude of food on our table, by the end, we were each members of the clean plate club. the experience overall was more than we could have asked for (eating out while out of town there is a bit of an expectation). definitely memorable. next time we're back to LA, i would even go out of our way to dine here again."
