"I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant and have always been pleased with the food and service—until today. After work, I walked in to pick up a to-go order and had an experience that I would rate as -1 for customer service. The person who appeared to be a manager or owner went out of his way to make me feel unwelcome. He harshly reprimanded an employee for giving me the wrong change, and he did so in a rude manner, as if it were my fault.
Additionally, I noticed his annoyance when I requested some sauce and asked for my order to be placed in a bag—something that has never been an issue before. While I understand that the manager might have been having a bad day, that should not affect customers.
As a side note, if you have a new employee, it is your responsibility to train them properly instead of reprimanding them in front of customers or taking your frustrations out on them when they make a mistake. The same goes for how you treat customers. Needless to say, I will be seeking dining options elsewhere."
