"Our experience at Aroma Thyme was incredibly disappointing. After researching restaurants in the Hudson Valley area and watching videos on YouTube, we were excited to make a reservation. However, upon arriving at 5:00 for our 5:30 reservation, we were seated promptly but were left waiting for our food for over an hour and a half. The service was slow, with our waiter forgetting to put in our order for an appetizer and serving the wrong entrees. The food itself was mediocre, with burned bread and an inedible steak. Despite the kind gesture of removing these items from our bill, the overall experience left us feeling let down, especially since it was my husband's 70th birthday celebration. We decided to skip dessert and left a lower tip than usual, as we were unsure if the wait staff pooled their tips. Overall, it was a disappointing and unpleasant dinner."

"I recently dined at Pantry, located in Long Island City, and I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. The restaurant's exterior and display seemed enticing, so my friend and I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, we were met with overpriced, oily food that did not meet our expectations.To begin with, the menu did not display any prices. In hindsight, we should have asked for the prices, but we didn't anticipate the cost to be as exorbitant as it turned out to be. My wrap and my friend's burrito were both far more expensive than we could have imagined for such subpar quality.Speaking of quality, the dishes were a major letdown. What we received bore no resemblance to the appetizing food we had imagined. Both the wrap and the burrito appeared almost identical warm, soggy, and dripping with oil. The flavors were muddled, and it was difficult to discern the individual ingredients in the dishes.Not only was the food disappointing, but it also left us feeling rather ill due to the excessive oil. It's a shame that a restaurant with such potential failed to deliver on the most crucial aspect: the food. Given our experience, I cannot recommend Pantry in Long Island City to anyone looking for a satisfying lunch."

"We had never been to this restaurant before, but it definitely won't be our last visit. We were thoroughly impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere. It was truly an amazing experience. I ordered a wedge salad, which was delicious. My husband had the gumbo, and being from Louisiana, he knows exactly how it should taste. He said it was perfect and wouldn't change a thing. For my main course, I had the prime rib with a lobster tail, and it was the best lobster I've ever had. Even the vegetables on my plate were cooked to perfection. My husband tried the mussels, and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed them. We usually share dessert, but this time I indulged in sticky toffee pudding while he had the creme brulee. Both desserts were absolutely amazing. We can't wait to go back and dine at this restaurant again."

"Waiting to be seated took a long time, even after I mentioned to the hostess that I had joined the waitlist. Once we finally got to our table, we had to wait another 10 minutes for a server to come over. When she did, her approach was quite abrupt—she jumped right in with “What do you want?” instead of offering any sort of greeting. However, once we placed our orders, things improved. The food arrived promptly, but the chicken fajitas lacked flavor. On the bright side, the elotes were fantastic!"

"Tried El Piquin 2 for the first time today. The food was really delicious, and the service was good. The restaurant looked clean. The shrimp could use a bit more seasoning to be perfect. Update: Came back a few days later. I forgot to mention the great Latin music playing last time—it had me dancing in my chair, LOL! The chorizo is so good I had to return for more. My 13-year-old said it was a bit spicy after two tacos. The flan is tasty as well."

"Overall, my experience at the restaurant was quite positive. I ordered a burrito, but I felt it had too much rice, making it somewhat mushy. On the plus side, the other ingredients were excellent. The cashier had estimated a wait time of about 15 minutes, and that turned out to be accurate. The food was flavorful, although not spectacular. Aside from the extra rice in my burrito, everything else was up to par. In summary, I had a nice experience with the service, as the wait time was just as the cashier had indicated."

"the restaurant has been around for many years and has been highly recommended. not sure whether we just don't order the best restaurants or what, but eating was good, but nothing I would come back for. the restaurant is beautiful, clean and the staff was friendly. I am surprised that they have such a faithful pursuit of natives who keep it so many years open. to many other restaurants in nashville that need to go back here. recommend the stock teller feig pork was the best we had."

"Our first time dining at Fork Lore and it was a great choice! Our waitress was a delight, sharing her personal favorites and we made our choices from there. My husband and I both had the trout grilled with just salt and pepper which came with a refreshing slaw on top. So delicious!! I chose asparagus and glazed carrots as my sides and was delighted. My husband chose asparagus and potatoes and was quite happy. For dessert, we shared a piece of carrot cake and it was the perfect ending!! I highly recommend this establishment!!"

"Restaurant was in a nice area off the main street. We had made a reservation for 6:15 but the light freeway traffic had us arrive 1/2 hour early. They seated us anyway. They have inside and covered outdoor seating. We sat inside. It's a large restaurant. The waiter promptly brought us the menus and we ordered our drinks. They serve beer and wine and offer some cocktails. We ordered two appetizers to start, the pickles and the halloumi cheese. The pickle plate was very ample and the cheese was tasty matched with the pita bread. My husband ordered the salmon entree and I had the lamb kabab wrap. This was a lot of food. Took most of mine home for a second meal. The lamb was done medium and the cooks did a good job. My husband's salmon was also perfect. We will be coming back!"

"I 've been here before, food was great, so I went back. figure I 'd try something new. I enjoy spicy food and there was a dish labeled medium hot , so I gave it a go. it was unbelievably hot. when the waiter came by to check on us, I let him know that this wasn 't medium hot. he said no no, this is very spicy . I let him know that it wasn 't even edible. I let him know that they should probably fix the menu, as another person at my table (who also enjoys spicy foods) had the same reaction as I had. at no point was I offered another dish to replace it, nor did they remove it from my bill. instead, when he came back, he let me know that the cook said this was in fact medium hot and he has something that is way hotter . not very good from a customer service perspective.....it 's unfortunate that I don 't want to go back now because as stated before, the food was pretty good!"

"I eat here almost daily. The coffee is good. The salads are good. The sandwiches are good. The breakfast bowl is a great healthy and varied meal. The staff is friendly. The space is pleasant. Order my secret menu item, “The Nick Lunch Face.” It’s two hardboiled eggs, half an avocado, a bed of spinach leaves and tater tots for ten dollars. I made it up and ordered it so often they made it a secret menu item."

"I think we just caught this restaurant on a bad night. It wasn’t busy but the service was not attentive. Some pieces of bread seemed stale and the portion size was not great. I had the Cod over mashed potatoes, it tasted good but the piece of cod could have been larger. My wife had the linguine with clams which she liked but again, portion size/value were lacking and 6 clams (cockles actually) didn’t open. There are many great restaurants in Gloucester and this may be one of them, but it just wasn’t on our first visit here."

"My husband loves Sweet Mam”s. This is the only place he can get eggs Benedict Hollandaise sauce with corn beef hash. I’ve had the corn beef hash. Potatoes and French toast all good. I recommend the pineapple juice. The food here is home cooking, good each time we go. This Sunday we went early, before church let out, it was full, still we were seated in 10 minutes. They close at 2pm, soon after we go there a line formed. The restaurant is small not a lot of seating like a large restaurant. However, it is worth the wait. There sometimes is seating out side along the sidewalk. The staff is nice. Prices are reasonable. There are a lot of options on the menu.Kid-friendliness: There is a kid menu.Parking: The restaurant is in a shopping center. On Sunday the shops are not open leaving plenty of parking. I’ve only gone on Sunday not sure about the other days of the week."

"Was browsing Happy Cow during a snack at Chez Elle across the street and saw that BBB was in there so we decided to try it for dinner. I didn't actually check HC to see what exactly was vegan so I just looked at the menu. After talking to the server she asked about the vegan option that was under the Catfish and apparently it's cajun (blackened) tofu over dirty rice with green beans and an aioli made with vegenaiseThe tofu was absolutely delicious and it was cut thin so it got crispy (my favorite). It's about $4-5 less (think the catfish is $21) if you sub tofu. It was delicious and I really enjoyed it. It's a bit overpriced so that's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, won't come back unless were in the area of Chez Elle but a good option if we are in the area."

"I stumbled upon this amazing restaurant and I love it. The good especially the veggies look and taste so fresh. I usually go on my lunch break and it’s always quite and I can relax and eat my food in peace. The staff is very friendly and polite. I always get the chicken and veggies bowl and it is always plenty of food. I don’t even need the sauce they provide it’s that good without it). I have tried the sushi which is good also but I’m not a big eater of sushi. I highly recommend this place. You won’t regret it."
