"The customer service I received today from this establishment was above and beyond. I ordered food through UberEats and there were issues with one of the items I ordered. UberEats was not helpful with the situation, so I called Bedford Gourmet Food. The person who answered the phone was extremely friendly and listened to my issue. Then, they offered to remake the order and deliver it to me at no charge. I was pleasantly surprised. When the replacement item came it was exactly as I had initially ordered it. I appreciated how well Bedford Gourmet Food handled this situation and went out of their way to make it right. They definitely created a repeat customer in me. Highly recommend!"

"I had a really good experience in here. I 'm not sure why the reviews are so negative. The place is clean and the prices appear reasonable to me. There 's no place to sit to eat so the name Cafe is deceiving. The man behind the counter was dealing with the customers very nice and the same with me. It was a good place to stop for a bottle of water. I could see myself buying a bagel and walking to the East River Esplanade to sit to eat. I 'll be back....."

"I had a wonderful breakfast today, February 12, 2022. The restaurant has just undergone a complete renovation and has recently reopened. The service was excellent, and the food matched that quality. It was busier than some other places I've visited lately, which speaks volumes about its popularity. This truly is a family-friendly restaurant, and it was lovely to see Sandy and her family there. "I stopped with my man on this diner, and it was great! eating was amazing that we had breakfast. my man had an breakfast plate with iron, fryed, toast, speck 3 blueberry pancakes. "I always order from this restaurant since I work a couple blocks away from here the food is always great . I always order a Cesar Salad with chicken. One time I ordered they did not put chicken in it. I contacted Slice sent them a picture regarding this since they are charging me additional fee for chicken. They kept telling Slice that no it had chicken there was no mistakes they refused the refund. Called myself and they I told them what happened they said they are willing to drop off the chicken I said no thank you would like the refund please said ok and will contact slice to get the refund. A day later slice emailed me that they still believe the order was correct declined my refund. So disappointing cause iI had the proof and theres video footage where I work I even showed the salad to other employees that worked at the school. sadly after this i will not be purchasing here no more."

"Pretty solid diner food. I had this talaria dish with pineapple and coconut that was on the specials menu that was very good. There were lots of sides to go around with our meals, from curly fries and sweet potato fries to butter corn and house salad. Most of us took some food home in a box, so while it was slightly expensive for a diner, we got our money's worth."

"I would give 3.5 stars if I could. My portobello mushroom wrap was delicious with fresh ingredients and a creamy sauce; I even saved the second half for leftovers and grilled it for the next days lunch. My uncle enjoyed his burger, and we all enjoyed the sweet potato fries, they have really good fries. Unfortunately my aunt and boyfriend did not enjoy their Buddha bowls, the vegetables were steamed with little seasoning, and the dressing didn’t add any life to it. It was a mixed bag. Vegetarian options: My mushroom wrap was very juicy and flavorful, unfortunately my family’s Buddha bowls were lackluster."

"Waitress was on point. Friendly, quick, and was great with the kids. Food was good. They even gave the girls these HUGE cookies because ate their entire meals. It was cute and heck they even through the boys some cookies too because they were eyeing them up. I can’t comment on pricing because my Brother-in-law paid -Thank you Jake. "Veggie heaven was an amazing find on our way to PA from CT. We are vegetarians and rarely do we find an all vegan Asian restaurant. It was easy to park as they had a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. We had broccoli cream soup to start, and then had empire chicken steak and green, green, green (one of their daily specials which is off the menu). Their virgin mojito and Taro bubble tea with jelly was great! We also tried their Thai iced tea with soy milk which was interesting. Their prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. Their service was very quick. Overall, would definitely visit again!"

"Dollar pint Becks beers had me coming back every few days during the summer as Stop 1 is one long block from the beach. I priced all other surrounding delis and grocery stores for beach beverages both with and without alcohol. The reach in coolers stratch the length of the store so there is a plethora of choices. With lotto becoming ever more popular you can expect to wait a bit if only one of the employees is working. Minor other items can be had as Stop 1 for those last minute household needs. Breads, spreads and more."

"This is the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had. My husband ordered a vegetarian gyro and he really enjoyed it. But I absolutely loved the pizza—it was a Margherita with added artichoke hearts. "THIS IS MY FAVORITE PIZZA PLACE!!!! Since I was a kid this has been pizza that still tastes like the first time I tried it growing up! They legit have the best sauce everrr, so flavorful and always crispy pizza crust! My parents James and Lisa brought me here since birth and at 42yrs old I'm still eating here because it's still absolutely delicious!
