"We booked this restaurant due to past experience in Providence RI location. We found this location moderately different. Menu was underwhelming with limited options. The service was just ok. Hostess was uninterested and preoccupied after we checked in. Tried to put us at a high top when reservation was for dining area. Dinner came out wrong for my wife and the replacement meal arrived way after I was finished with my dinner. She was unimpressed with the second attempt. We were thinking of trying desert, however we didn’t risk it. Next time in Burlington, we will try a different place."

"So I walked into Pop's on Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven the other day And much has changed. Been coming here for almost 20 years but haven't been here for a few. Sadly they've removed a lot of the beautiful wood although some remains. The old fountain counter is gone, As are the booths and other seating to be replaced by elegant tables And a bar. I have to say it makes a cute little restaurant, although I do miss the old Pop's. The food was good. This is no greasy spoon. It's a step above diner food, but with the ambience of a somewhat classy restaurant. The new Pop's is a nice place for couples or families to dine; or to dine alone as I was."

I called a week in advance for a party on 20 people. they said I was all ready, I had a table reserved and everything. to the luck I called the day before to confirm because they completely dropped my reservation. After waiting for 20 minutes, 4 people answered and told me that I had never stopped and that they could not join my party. to boot, the waitress hanged on me when I asked what to do. I called back, talked to the owner, no repentance. great customer service, snookers (just a sweat that I am attracted, there are other places to drink and play pool."

"?So glad we found this place. We always like to try a new haunt after a visit to the Botanic Gardens, and Ritual did not disappoint! Brunch was exceptional and fairly priced, it's rare to find both at a scratch kitchen.An awesome open space with a variety of seating, fantastic food selection along with great drink specials (bogo drinks on Friday for teachers . Equally great for families during the day or social drinks in the afternoon evening.The service was attentive and helpful, guiding us that their kids pizzas were big enough for two to share (and only $7 for a kids meal!! .I wish we lived closer to this place, as we'd be there every week! The owner Garrett was super friendly and stopped by to share his story and meet other family."

"We both tried specials. Husband had prime rib with baked potato and corn. I tried salmon with baked potato and sautéed Brussels sprouts with garlic. Entrees included soup...chicken noodle and my favored escarole were yummy as well as desserts of his beloved chocolate pudding and my rice pudding. All delicious! "I had a really good experience in here. I 'm not sure why the reviews are so negative. The place is clean and the prices appear reasonable to me. There 's no place to sit to eat so the name Cafe is deceiving. The man behind the counter was dealing with the customers very nice and the same with me. It was a good place to stop for a bottle of water. I could see myself buying a bagel and walking to the East River Esplanade to sit to eat. I 'll be back....."

She kindly offered to substitute vegan cheese for me. She also checked on the vegan sauces available and brought out some extras (note that the red salsa contains butter for some reason). The following night, I returned and tried the wings and fries. The server informed me that they use a shared fryer, which could be a concern for some. While they weren't as good as the nachos, they tasted more like nuggets with sauce."

"We stopped for lunch after walking across the Brooklyn Bridge and it was a delightful experience! The restaurant had a cozy American diner decor and the service was quick, friendly, and comfortable. The menu was extensive, making it difficult to choose from so many options. In the end, we decided on an omelette and the Mexican chips with avocado dip. The chips were a bit pricey but definitely worth it - they were the best I've ever had. I highly recommend trying them! "It was my birthday and wanted a good steakhouse. Loved reading the reviews and decided to give it a try. Upon entering restaurant, we were promptly greeted and made to feel welcomed . We were right on time for our reservation. The place was busy and seemed to have a lot going on. We were seated within a few minutes wait . It took a couple of minutes and our server was quickly at our table. We place our order and eagerly awaited our food. We went with the nights special of crunchy tacos filled with yellow fin tuna. I didn’t car for it as it didn’t taste fresh, though my husband gladly enjoyed it. He also enjoyed the wedge salad served with a true slab of bacon! I really enjoyed the French onion soup ... fully loaded with flavor ! We then moved on to the main course of elk steak and buffalo steak. The elk was a little too lean and dry , however , the buffalo was outstanding ! We then decided to have a little dessert though we were both already full. I ordered the flourless chocolate cake which was amazing !!! I would go back again just for dessert ! Hubby had a simple side of ice cream which he enjoyed as well. I would say this is a busy restaurant with prompt service . It was pretty loud for date night . Would be great for a night out with friends"

"The food was incredible! I decide for the first time, do something simple a burger with sweet potatories. Although these are very simple dishes, I often see restaurants messing up them. The sweet potato fryers were perfect, not boiled not over the seasons they were perfect. The burger was one of the two best burgers I had in a restaurant in my life! The black truffle cheese I loved has tasted more what was on my burger, so I even ordered it without any sauce that usually came with this burger, but I realized that it should be a mixture of flavors that they all complicate the roasted shallots the sowed mushrooms the black truffle cheese and the burger itself. I am also impressed by the boss/cook there. And for a drink I got a hot tea, a peach herbal tea and that was incredible and also not sure where she got the loose leaf mix, but it was very good. On a passing note, the burger was also grilled for perfection. I live 2 hours from the location of this restaurant and was there on recommendation from a doctor after a surgical procedure. I actually thought to return to this area for this restaurant because it was so incredible. I recommend this to everyone and yes, it is child-friendly with the children's menu too. Did I mention the big aquarium in the restaurant?"
