"Very mean. Was waiting outside my car to take my daughter out when one of their employees started unloading all of their trash out directly in front of my rear passenger door. I politely asked if he could unload it a few feet over since I needed to take my daughter out. He shrugged me off and continued piling up the garbage to the point where I couldn't even open the door. I had to make a path to the door and ruined a pair of shoes in the process."

"This diner is excellent! The menu can be a bit overwhelming since they offer a wide range of options, from breakfast dishes to various burgers and sandwiches, as well as dinner options. The staff was not only friendly but very welcoming as well. While the prices are on the higher side—around $14 per meal and $11 for a kids' meal (which includes dessert, a nice touch for the little ones)—I suppose food prices are rising in general. It's definitely family-friendly, and if you're looking for a great dining experience, this is the place to visit."

"I had a very disappointing experience with my salad at Cheesecake today. I usually love the almond-crusted salmon salad and have enjoyed it many times before, but tonight was a different story. The salmon was almost nonexistent. I understand that supplies can be limited, but for a $20 salad, I expected more salmon. To make matters worse, there were no almonds in it; it was just a mess. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she only brought me some crushed almonds, but that didn’t resolve the issue. We had to just accept it as it was."

"The woman at the front register really needs to improve her attitude. In the past, I was always greeted with respect and appreciation when I visited, but now I’m met with a rude demeanor and even yelled at. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2017, frequently spending hundreds of dollars because my family enjoys the food so much. There are countless other kabob places along the street that offer cheaper prices, but I chose to support Salam and its owner. Unfortunately, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere solely due to the unpleasant experience caused by this employee. Someone should help her learn how to communicate with customers better."

"I was really disappointed with this restaurant. They promote themselves as vegetarian and vegan-friendly, but in reality, they use butter, milk, and eggs in almost everything. We went for breakfast and found that the only vegan options available were a heel flake and a head dish. Honestly, I can get better vegan options at a chain restaurant like IHOP, where I can order crispy fruit and heel flakes. We tried to communicate with the waiter to create a nice meal, but everything was cooked in butter. It’s frustrating that they claim to be vegan-friendly when their understanding of veganism seems limited. If they truly want to cater to vegans, they should know what being vegan means and offer real vegan options. We ended up leaving in frustration, and I still feel annoyed when I hear others talk about this place. It’s hard to believe they consider themselves vegan-friendly while using eggs, cheese, and butter."

"Was I back in Philly? I can honestly say this place has the best cheeses outside of Philly! I was very surprised and very happy! The bread was soft and fresh, the meat well cooked and plentiful, the cheese creamy and gooey, and the paprika onions cooked for perfection, the pumice were crispy and seasoned, the meal was completely delicious. The gentleman behind the checkout has never been with Philly, so not Philly terminology (a widow with , he won't understand. But he's very nice... no attitude as you get at Pat's or Gino's in Philly. Actually, it was like taking the best of Pat's and Gino's and mixing them to make a Cheesesteak Factory Cheesesteak! Rocky would stop and get himself one, sure! The price was extremely affordable. The restaurant is a bit a hole in the wall (clean and in a good part of the city simple and small, but the food.... It is worth stopping! I will make sure that I return at any time when I am in the mood for a Philly experience (without the lines or attitude: Get five of me!"

"Family vacation to the Dells, decided to give this place a try. Very glad we did. Best ribeye I’ve had in a long time and I eat them fairly regularly. The steak was super tender, very flavorful and perfectly prepared. Cheese curds were a nice starter and the spinach salad was very good as well. My wife enjoyed the pork schnitzel and our kids both liked their food as well (grilled cheese and Mac and cheese. If looking for a great steak in this area stop here. I would highly recommend this establishment. Update: 8/10/24 Well, came back again and have to say it’s as great as ever! Ribeye was perfect and the bone marrow butter was a very tasty addition! Calamari appetizer was light and fresh. Our table had 4 deserts, favorites were the key lime pie and the tiramisu. I’ve covered a large portion of this country and hands down, this is it. The best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Bravo Del-Bar, and thank you!"

"I met my friend there this past Wednesday to celebrate her birthday. We met at the location in the Walt Whitman mall We were seated in a booth as we had requested. There we sat for about 20 minutes before our server acknowledged us . After taking our order we didn’t receive so much as water for another 1/2 hour . She disappeared for about 50 minutes . I went to the front and mentioned we hadn’t seen our server .we asked what’s taking so long? She claimed it was because I ordered my burger well done . Well my burger arrives and not only wasn’t it well done but it wasn’t the one I ordered . I send it back and my friend starts eating her fish which was a bit cold and I wait . Someone from management was taking care of me now and he brings me a new order . Also not the one I ordered and with fries not the salad I ordered . This was the 2 nd attempt How does a restaurant take 4 tries to fill a simple order. No apology when it took 2 more tries to get my simple order correct . I had to pack it up cause I wasn’t hungry any longer . We got a slice of cheesecake we had to ask for which they give bday people anyway and an accusation from the actual manger I asked for that nothing about our horrible experience was a big deal and I just didn’t want to pay for hamburger. He kept saying the incorrect orders were no big deal. I guess they wanted me to pay and eat what they wanted not what I wanted . The upsetting part was they felt they did nothing wrong . The miserable attitude complimented the miserable experience of a restaurant that used to be a fun good place to dine . Turns out our server was apparently covering us on the opposite side of the restaurant where her section was and was offering no service to us under protest cause she had to go back and forth . Her misery was clearly visible as she never once checked on us .Apparently everyone is unhappy there which means management isn’t doing their job and needs to move to a quiet location where they can sit and not do anything. Unprofessional and angry attitude there . Stick with places that are happy to see customers.also, I made several attempts to call and leave a voicemail for their customer service as you can’t get one on the phone during business hours so after 4 voicemail attempts I gave up and decided never to return. Parking: Typical mall lot with traffic and hard to find parking."

"The service is probably the best we had in a long time. Our server Jamese was so personal that we could not help, but every time she died to check us out. I started with a good Mannered Dirty Martini. I suggest you ask for him extra dirty. The food was delicious, but we wished we knew our lunch special didn't come with something other than the duck. We might have expected a salad or a soup, but that was our first time we had asked. Overall we had a great time and the restaurant is beautiful. "Our first time dining at 57 American Grill!! WOW!!! First the server, Samuel, he greeted my family with a smile that could brighten up the sky!!! And his beautiful smile, cheerfulness went on through the entire meal!!! We had the chicken tenders which were dry and overcooked but our dinners, 2 Jimmy Dean burgers and a Marlon Brando burger were cooked to perfection along with the delicious fries!!! They were delicious!! My daughter is such a fan of the 1950's and we were all in heaven with the nostalgic ambience!! Samuel made a delicious dinner even more enjoyable!! You can bet this will now be a regular dinner place for us!!!!"

"This place was found because of the great reviews, but was painfully disappointed! The quality of the food was good, but it was lacking in taste and very badly paired. I ordered a seafood Bouillabaisse, which was good, but the lack of bread, or the offer of something more from the waiter was disappointing. My wife ordered the lamb lantern and it came very rare what is good, but at least ask how you cooked your meat so you don't have to send it back and watch your husband wait while his food gets cold! And the kicker didn't season her meal. Desert was a great disappointment and seemed to be out of a box, and the whipped cream was also tasteless! For the amount of money spent and the amazing location I expected an unforgettable meal. Our waiter didn't even ask how our meal was or even offered us a drink when we left the empty glasses in clear eyes, I don't think I'll go back!"

"I arrived at the restaurant around 6pm on a Saturday and it was completely full. Luckily, I didn't have to wait long for a seat. I decided to sit at the bar because it was neat to watch them prepare my burger. The staff was very attentive and focused on providing great customer service. There was a moment when I ran out of ketchup and without even asking, the cook somehow heard me and had someone bring me a new bottle. It was impressive! The bar was also clean and comfortable. I ordered a classic burger, beet salad, and the "baldouni" burger, and everything was delicious and fresh. I can't wait to come back and try one of their milkshakes next time."
