"We went to Ruski's on Daytona 500 Sunday after two other pubs were not open. We were able to find street parking by the bar. When we went in the Manager and one of the patrons immediate engaged us in conversation. I ordered the Cheeseburger and my wife ordered the Nachos. I grew up in Southern Ohio so I am a big fan of Cincinnati Chili. This Chili tasted a little bit like that. Another patron said it was because it had allspice. I thought it was yummy and a little bit different from traditional Texas Chili. The Cheeseburger was just a good old bar burger and was delicious. They make their own coleslaw and it was marvelous. It was a little on the sweet side and reminded me of cole slaw I had at a little diner near where I grew up. I did not try it but they also make their own **** mary mix. The bartender told me they are known for their **** mary's. Ruski's also serves breakfast all day for those who prefer breakfast."

"I wasn't feeling for barbecue, so when I saw this place when I was passing through West Point, I got an instant craving for Mexican. Who would expect it on US-45 in a third tier MS city? Good, quick, just what I needed for pit stop and get back on the road. Got the tamal and enchilada platter, no rice extra beans. Next time through town I want to check out the Howlin' Wolf Museum."

"Stumbled upon this restaurant because I had a taste for Mexican food but wanted to avoid a Saturday night crowd. Nice decor, attentive servers. Ordered a mojito, tostones and a mixed grill dish. The mojito was among the best I've ever had. The tostones were out of this world. Full disclosure, I normally prefer my platanos yellow, sweet and slightly burnt. The tostones were crisp and the garlic sauce slapped! Glad I followed that impulse to order them. The mixed grill was steak, pork and chicken with yellow rice and black beans. Rice and beans were delicious; meats were good but I would have liked the chicken and steak to have had a bit more char on them. Even though the meal was not perfect (9/10), I would return in a heartbeat."

"It wasn't bad but... I ordered: Steak tacos: dry and insipid. Throw dome fat for flavor, please. Shrimp tacos: tasted like thawed shrimp tossed on the grill, bland. Add some baja or chipotle sauce, or something. Fish tacos: firstly, what kind of fish was it? In addition, I think the cheese (yes, it had cheese) overwhelmed the fish flavor, it just tasted like cheese. Mexican Coca Cola: amazing, never fails. There's definitely room for improvement."

"We just happened upon this place looking for breakfast on our way to the Austin airport. They were not terribly busy at the time and our service and server was wonderful! Recommendation of Annie's taco was the best as was our other order! I thought the coffee was perfect to my liking and my cup kept full as was my ice water. I even ordered a taco to go and it came out quickly. Highly recommend this place and if I am ever back in Austin I would definitely go again!"

"I dropped by this restaurant around 2 PM to give it a try, and I’m glad I did! The salsa had a delightful kick to it, and the chicken and beef chimichangas were delicious and served hot. Even the rice, refried beans, and pico de gallo were well-seasoned and prepared nicely. The seating arrangement is spaced out because of COVID, as you would expect, but the service was much more attentive and helpful than in many other places. Our server even managed to find some extra lime for my wife. We definitely need to come back!"

"This is Nashville's best kept secret. The food is amazing and always fresh. You can tell that the owner cares about the product and satisfying the customer and that means so much. The fajitas are the best! What you see here is the chicken fajitas (two different videos from two different visits) and the shrimp and chicken fajita. Also, if you love a good margarita, you'll love their frozen pineapple margarita pitcher. A margarita plus your girlfriends means hours of talking and laughing."

"I haven't had the chance to dine at the restaurant yet, but our neighborhood organized for the El Griton Food Truck to come by on Memorial Day! First off, the people running this food truck are incredibly friendly! We pre-ordered some carne asada tacos, a carne asada super burrito, and some chips with queso. We picked up our order and brought it home, and I must say, the food was AMAZING!!!! The quality was excellent, it was cooked to perfection, and it was the best meal we've had in months!!! Now that Georgia has reopened, I will definitely be taking my family and clients to the restaurant! Fantastic food!!!"

"This has been one of my favorite places in Austin for Tex/Mex(mexican)I have been coming for over 7 years and it's always so good.Food-I have tried wide range of their offerings from apps to mains.I'm not a bit dessert person (sorry)Over all everything I have ever ordered has been great. Nothing major but the quality and portions are perfect.It feels like as if my grandma or a friend's mom was making dinner.Service-The staff is really really good. Typically when I would go I would have a server named Yvonne she was always so welcoming and it was always impressive that she remembered faces and folks orders. I say that because this place does have alot of loyal customers so to have someone remember so many details is very impressive to me.I have had other staff members as well and all have been great. The owner is also very hands on and when you go I'm sure you will see him around.Such a great feeling to see someone take such pride in what they have built in this city. We love to see it.Ambiance-It's such a great space.Large enough for big parties (call ahead don't be that group) and paired with a great outdoor patio it's perfect.They added some fake greenery to the wall that is nice. I wouldn't be mad if they maybe incorporated some life plants as well. (Totally doesn't effect the great space)Dog owners-I have seen many folks bring dogs as well to seat in the patio space. The only draw back with that I have ever seen there is there was one lady who took her dog (medium sized) and it was baking the whole time they were there and pulled a lot at the owners table to were the dog was basically at o their customers tables begging for food.I'm a dog owner and just don't appreciate the lack of consideration for other guests nothing on the restaurant.So if you bring your dog just be aware of others around you.All in all this is definitely a 9 out of 10 for me."

"The food was quite enjoyable, but I ended up enhancing it when I got home. The veggie chips had very few beans on them, so I added some tomato, shredded cheese, and red onion. The carne was just okay, according to the person who tried it. However, the shredded chicken hard shell taco was tasty, though I suspect the shells might have come from a box. The combo plate of enchiladas, on the other hand, was a definite highlight!"
