"George is awesome l. My wife and I went in and he didn't have a large steak option like he did years ago. Well, we got up to leave and George stopped us and asked why we were leaving. My wife told him she couldn't get the super steak, so he said he will get it for her and price it fair. He did just that, and the food was fantastic. His is the only place I can get the 1lb monster cheeseburger, and my wife her huge steak. George truly loves his customers, and I would recommend you eat here."

"I have had a great experience every time I have come here. The italian ice and custard is a great consistency, and they have plenty of flavors to choose from. When I come, I get a small watermelon italian ice, which is my favorite. The reason it is my favorite is because the flavor of it isn't too sweet, like it is at other places. "Drove for 2 hours just to eat at this restaurant due to the high ratings. I have to say that I was very disappointed. Entrées were delicious ordered the wedding soup, and deep fried crab balls. Dinners where disappointing. My husband and myself both ordered dishes that had chicken in them. Needless to say the chicken in both dishes tasted like it had been char burnt and very dry. "I have ordered takeout family meals from here before, and the food was always great. Recently, I dropped in for a slice of pizza, and it was just as fantastic as I expected. What stood out to me even more, though, was the warmth of the people working there. I believe the owner and his wife were on duty, and even though I’m not a regular customer, they somehow brightened my day with their friendly demeanor. We were among the few diners there, seated right in front of the cashier. After waiting over 50 minutes, we decided to check on our order, only to discover that the girl who took it had never submitted it. "The service was fantastic — quick and efficient. The food was amazing! We got the chicken bread app and the huge beef on weck. Both were absolutely delicious. Picture is of the chicken bread — we ate the sandwich too quickly to get a picture! As a big superhero fan, the atmosphere was really cool too with life size statutes and other figurines decorating the whole restaurant. It was also decorated for Halloween, with different statues in costume (Batman wearing bunny ears) which made me laugh!"

"I usually love their food. Pizza is great but this last Monday evening was a hot mess! The lady behind the counter was yelling at the top of her lungs for at least an hour (maybe longer) banging and slamming the door and just utterly disrespectful at her employees. Also, I ordered 2 beefs and man that was a big mistake. No beef inside it looked to be a hotdog buns and sauces I asked for were missing. For $32 for 2 beefs and chicken nuggets definitely will be taking a break from there."

"Trying to find some Chicago flavors in KC. Stop #1 The Pizza Man Being from Chicago, I love deep dish pizza, but no it can’t be eaten all the time. The Pizza Man does a good version of thin crust and you can get it with Italian beef and giardiniera. They have leaned into the idea of an Italian beef, even with serving the pizza with a side of aus jus. There hours are limited on weekends. They close at 6 on Friday and Saturday. The beef is really good. I will go back to try the sandwich."

"Online order for a sausage and pepperoni calzone, large pepperoni and a Garden Salad with grilled chicken. Bothe the pie and calzone were tasty, but the reason why I gave them four stars was because they forgot to include the grilled chicken with the order. I called them back and this very nice lady on the other side was very sorry about the mishap. She offered to give us a refund, which we accepted."
