"The staff were particularly sweet to my baby, allowing him to wander since the area we were seated in was quite empty. The portion sizes were impressive. The children's burrito came with fries, and the burrito itself was nearly as big as my baby’s torso, which was a nice surprise for $11. As I'm new to the area, I initially thought it was an overpriced kids' meal, considering everything tends to be pricier here. However, when it arrived, I quickly realized the value—it was massive! We even had some leftovers that could easily fill an adult. Overall, fantastic food, wonderful staff, a great atmosphere, and lively music. Another bonus: the women's restroom had a changing table, which is the ultimate convenience!"

"Excellent experience! Came here today for Father’s Day. We got mild wings, a cheesesteak stromboli, and enchiladas supreme. My dad is from LA and absolutely loves Mexican cuisine, but since moving to PA, there haven’t been too many restaurants that compete with the authenticity of LA’s food. My dad’s face lit up when he took the first bite of his enchiladas; he felt right at home! As a pickier eater, I stuck with the wings, and I was amazed. I’ve eaten wings from many different places around here, but these blew me away. They were bigger and far more filling than average! I only got through five before I was full. The mild sauce was creamier instead of the usual watery sauce you’d get. Personally, I loved it and now prefer it! Service was a little slow, but after eating such fresh food, I understand why. It was worth the wait and I’d do it again. The owner came over to talk to us and he was incredibly sweet. He gave my dad free churros because it was Father’s Day. Highly recommend! We took a menu with us and will be ordering in the future."

"This is the Best, freshest Mexican food I've eaten in Palo Alto, Peninsula and South Bay. Definitely underrated! I've been to many restaurants and Lulu's is by far the best. After eating this you can feel your body energized with excellent nutrition. I can't believe how many people give poor reviews that have absolutely nothing to do with the quality of food nor the customer service. I been to this place about a dozen times and every time I visit, Always consistent, fresh and delicious. Erica and the crew are always welcoming and friendly. I worked in the restaurant industry for 25+ years and the service is always impeccable. ? I came in today to buy food for my family whom my sister is at Stanford ICU and Erica was truly compassionate about my sister's well being. I wish there was more people like Erica who love what they do and show care for others in the world. I want to express my gratitude to all of the team and Erica for showing love to my family and delivering the quality of food they produce to keep us healthy. I'll be forever customer for now on! "I genuinely love this restaurant! I've tried over 30 dishes from the menu, and I've always been impressed. "Tried El Piquin 2 for the first time today. The food was really delicious, and the service was good. The restaurant looked clean. The shrimp could use a bit more seasoning to be perfect. "I come here because it's close by and I can order online. Especially if I need to have dinner at a certain time because of school events. Just recently we had Back to School night and I needed pick up dinner beforehand so that we could be at school at 5:00p. I ordered online and selected 4:15p for pick-up. When I arrived, they hadn't even started the order. And once they did, it took forever. It wasn't even ready until 4:40p. What is the point of being able to order ahead? This has happened quite often. I keep coming back because I keep hoping it's changed, but it hasn't. Lastly, the service here is very unprofessional. It feels like a bunch kids with attitude running the show. If I could help it, I would not come here ever again. However, the LuLu's every where else is good! Go there instead."

"This place should Garner a Five Star, but unfortunately we just can't and truth be told a four is stretching it. Very nice location, plenty of free parking including for Handicap accessible Vehicles. The restaurant was clean and had restrooms available. The staff who were there, were friendly and were adhering to all COVID recommendations as required. The main issue is the staff, or lack thereof, they are still having extreme staffing problems. We had to wait about a half an hour to be seated when the restaurant was maybe half full. Our Server Dawn was wonderful but she needed Rocket Powered Roller Skates to keep up, which she barely could. It's very unfortunate! The menu has something for everyone, the portions were ample. The food was prepared OK, it could have been better if again they had more staff to help with getting the food to the table in a timely fashion. So the bottom line is, if you want a good meal and have some patience, give them a try. We would again if we are in the area."

"I have been living in California for 18 years, with my husband on weekends we go to different areas and Los Altos is one of my favorites. We had lunch and stayed for coffee. Yesterday we tried this colorful place: The interior is very warm, there is order, the guys from the staff are very attentive and professional. I ordered chips and salsa and two salads and we sat outside on the wide terrace on the street to wait for the order, when I went to get it, what a pleasant surprise: the salads are huge, also delicious. It has many tables with umbrellas, the wifi is powerful and reaches well outside, by the way the key is Burritos =D the atmosphere was calm and the service was fast. It opens at 9:30 a.m. every day and from Sunday to Wednesday it closes at 8:00 a.m. Thursday to Saturday it closes at 8:30 p.m. Surely on my next visit to Los Altos I will return to this place. I highly recommend it. Update: Today we went for the second time for another great lunch with my husband, there were quite a few people in the line before me, finally a very nice guy took my order Lulu chopped Salad al Pastor and Beef Taquitos he told me that it would be ready in 10 minutes. As it was a short time I stayed inside the place and noticed that he took orders by phone too and they accumulated until there were so many that the delivery of our lunch took almost 40 minutes. It's a shame because the food is very tasty."

"The food and service are always amazing! I had seafood gumbo and peach bignets. So delicious. Every bite. I also love their fried shrimp, red pepper cabbage, and French fries. "First I called, trying to find out what a certain meal picture on the website was, because it looked very good. The person who answered couldn't tell me as he thought I was trying to place an order.
