"Everything was fine, if not bland. The proportions in the burritos were terrible, very little pico, carne asada (despite the upcharge), or guac (again, despite the upcharge). The lengua was tender and well cleaned, but was barely seasoned and could'veused a little sear or something. If it were relatively inexpensive, I wouldn't care, but a $15 burrito shouldn't be 70%rice. There's a dearth of good Mexican food in the area, but it's worth driving to places like Taqueria El Amigo to get thegood stuff. Even Los Amigos right in Newton is light-years better, and less expensive."

"OMG! I was in the area and searched “food near me” and decided to try this spot out! Omg, best decision ever. I ordered the shrimp burrito and shrimp tacos. Very flavorful! There’s a “special” sauce in the burrito that has changed the game for my tastebuds, forever! I was perfectly fine with the Chipotle burrito for my Mexican-inspired eats, but now, I’ve seen the light!! I found the taco flour to be a bit dry and not as flavorful but the salsa verde and salsa picante gave the tacos the kick it needed and made up for the dryness."

"When I called the restaurant to discuss my concerns about spending so much on this meal, the girl on the phone seemed unsure of how to help me. She mentioned that “Paula,” the restaurant manager, was not available and supposedly works from home, which probably makes addressing customer complaints quite challenging. In conclusion, I will not be ordering from here again and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I'm embarrassed that this “Mexican” restaurant represents my culture. Please do better, Chilacates. If you're looking for great Mexican food, I'd suggest going to La Taqueria in Dedham or Roslindale instead."

"The prices on the menu were much lower than what I ended up paying. After I placed my order, I wasn’t allowed to make any changes, and the staff didn’t seem to care or understand the difference between the menu prices and what I was charged. This experience was quite unprofessional and really ruined my lunch. To be frank, it affected my entire day. I made my choices based on what I thought were the correct prices on the menu, and the staff's indifference to this error was disappointing. I'm not even sure if..."

"The food that 's probably some of the best Mexican food you can get in the area! This is a must go! The 'mangonada ' margarita is probably the best mango margarita I 've ever had my life! When we were seated the service was good. When we first arrived I asked for a table for five and I was told that that wasn 't available without an offer to be put on a wait list or a specific waiting process. This seemed kind of odd. The interior was clean, but the furniture is not well maintained. Ceiling tiles are kind of gross and booth cushions are cracked and peeling. I will definitely be going back to this place and would highly recommend you give it a try. I just hope that their hospitality processes, furniture, and interior improve."

"I order take out from here often. The food is decent and the portions are reasonable. I had family visit from out of town and we decided to bring them here for dinner on Wed night. There were 5 of us and my 2 year old. We walked in and asked for a table. The hostess who looked to be no more then 21 just looked at us and said no. That's it, nothing else just no. No explanation, no wait time, no apology about being full, simply no and went about her business. We all just looked at each other. I was so embarrassed after bragging about Texas hospitality and that's the way we were greeted at the door. We will never order another meal from this place. Instead we went to Lupe Tortilla Mexican restaurant where the entire staff was wonderful. The hostess danced with my daughter for the 5 mins we waited. Our server was amazing and the food was absolutely fantastic. Thanks to Tequila's horrible customer service we have found our new favorite Mexican restaurant and we're never going back."

"A Mexican restaurant that’s good is as good as its marketing. On the packaging, Quetzally Mexican Food’s messaging thanks you for your order, and states, “Enjoy the flavors of Mexico!” Quetzally delivers, and the flavors are palatable perfection.The soft and warm corn tortillas are gluten-free, one of the choices, with flour being the other, are homemade and delicious. The entrees consisted of Al Pastor Tacos, and Barbacoa Tacos. The Al Pastor Tacos were cooked with a beautiful balance of flavors. The pineapple ratio used in the recipe was just right. When you add your choice of spicy or mild sauce, you bite into a mouthful of savory and spice, and a fabulous delight. Awesomely appetizing.The Barbacoa Tacos were good, but not as juicy as expected, after eating the Al Pastor. Still you could taste the mixture of flavors fresh cooked beef, with slight tangy, and tartness. As I ate each one of the three tacos to the order, I wished there was one more there. The food left me craving more, and the package’s QR code, when scanned, takes you to an offer for 20% of your order, along with their menu. "My family has been eating here for 26 years. Yummy Kitchen has always been there in good times and bad. Their rice—perfectly fried. Their general gaos chicken—a rich auburn shine and sweet taste that resembles pure joy. Anyone who talks bad about this establishment is objectively WRONG. They know us by name. "I liked this restaurant atmosphere, friendly staff and fast service, but the Mexican rice tasted burned. Everyone comes here for the great drinks and everyone felt like family here. The cheese Enchiladas was very good and the beans were the right temp, taste, texture. I also enjoyed the flan for dessert with the whipped cream, chocolate drizzled and cherry on top. The hot sauce was mild, but good. I would recommend this place for the atmosphere, drinks and friendly staff, but look for food at times. Too much salt or burnt taste. Otherwise it was good."
