"After a long wait, our waitress finally came to take our order for juice and coffee, and we ended up waiting an eternity for our drinks—about seven minutes, despite the place not being crowded. When our drinks finally arrived, we ordered brunch, but then had to wait even longer. By the time our food came, my coffee was empty. My husband's pancakes were ice cold, and my French toast was barely lukewarm. Naturally, our waitress was nowhere to be seen.
I ate my eggs (which I really dislike eating alone) and shared some bacon with my husband. Eventually, the waitress returned, took our plates away, and promised to send over the manager. He arrived and apologized, but my husband didn't want any more pancakes; they were too dense and unappetizing, so he passed. I was still hungry, so they made my breakfast again, and at least it was warm this time. However, I wasn't very hungry anymore and didn't finish.
We were ready for our check, but guess what? No waitress in sight. Once we finally found her, she asked if the manager had spoken to us about our bill. When we said no, she informed us that he would be comping both our meals. While we appreciated it, we felt that was the least they could do. We just wanted to pay and leave, but that took another five minutes.
Do yourself a favor and head to The Egg Shell down the street instead."
