"This is an excellent breakfast spot! I had a fantastic meal here; the food was hot and fresh. I ordered the classic breakfast, which included eggs, ham, and a generous portion of French toast. The French toast was massive, and my eggs were cooked to perfection—I ordered them over medium. The service was friendly, and our food arrived quickly despite the restaurant being busy. The coffee was also impressive—strong and flavorful. Everyone in my group enjoyed their breakfast, and I would definitely recommend this place. The prices were somewhat high, ranging from $15 to $20 for most meals."

"I never ever leave bad reviews. This is the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Boston. It took +30 minutes to get our table WITH reservations. I sat down and there was a blob of white ricotta on my glass. The pasta was terrible. Very oily, not made traditionally. When we talked to the manager, he told us we were lucky just to be sitting here. Don’t come here"

"I had a great experience at this restaurant on Sunday. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes and coffee, both of which were delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. "Service was excellent. Everyone working there are very polite and courteous Food was very good. It was done just the way I liked it. Seasoned just right for my taste. There are partitions separating the booths. The bathroom was very clean. Although when my friend went in the pervious person was disgusting and pee all over the seat and floor, you know who you are....come on guy clean after you pee this isn't your house and there are no maids to keep after you. No courtesy at all. But one of the employees did go in there and cleaned it up, so when I went it was cleaned. The person who cleaned the bathroom also told me to becareful that the floor was wet. I definitely recommend this place and would go back when I have a chance to."

"I really enjoyed dining at this charming diner in the neighborhood. We decided to go for breakfast and I ordered the huevos a la Mexicana, which were scrambled eggs with onions and jalapeños, served with rice and beans. It was absolutely delicious. My partner opted for the Norwegian Benedict, which was eggs Benedict with salmon. She thought it was excellent. The service was also fantastic, with very friendly individuals working there. I would definitely return for another meal."

"We stayed at the holiday inn and received a free breakfast with our stay or so we were told. The server was nice after she warmed up to us and the rest of the employees were all lovely. I had eggs and an English muffin and fries. The fries were cooked perfectly. The omelet was good and was not overflowing with ingredients. I was dissapointed at the price vs what we got. My wife had oatmeal which she enjoyed and a salad. The hotel concierge walked us over to the restaurant and told the server about our breakfast etc before we sat down. When it was time for the check the manager (I think it was the manager) came over to us and somehow forgot that the hotel concierge brought us over. He then started making up rules on what the free breakfast should be. Yes this was after we already ate and nobody told us the real rules before eating. Either way he had us pay for the salad and we were charged an automatic gratuity which I have never seen before. We were two people and I was going to leave a proper tip until I noticed what they pulled. We won't be back."

"Major decline in quality over the years. My wife and I used to LOVE going here, we even had part of our wedding catered by them. We visited twice in the past few weeks as we hadn 't been in a long time and were craving some of their great food. The first visit was majorly disappointing; we thought maybe it was a fluke, but the second visit was just as frustrating. They offer a lot less on their menu than previously, the quality of the food has declined, the portions shrunk significantly, and both times we had to dispute incorrect charges. I wish that I could recommend NYBB as it used to be our go-to brunch location, but I highly recommend you go somewhere else. We won 't be coming back ?."

I ordered mine based on the menu description using its number, while my nephew personalized his by selecting the ingredients he wanted. The waitress was very efficient, taking our order and delivering our meals promptly. She checked in with us a few times to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was an excellent experience."

"Beautiful location and view. Had a reservation and arrived on time. Was asked if we wanted to eat outside or inside, chose inside and they said to give them a moment to clear and set the table. Walked around for a couple of minutes and returned to find they gave the table (with the view) to another couple. They looked confused when we asked about the table and then made us wait 5 minutes for another table with no view... they seemed confused in general. Food was nicely made and presented and waitress was very good. Nice meal but a bit overpriced, however, that was expected as it is an Amman hotel..."

"We spent the morning at the NY Aquarium and then walked around Coney Island. When it was time to go we stopped at the Parkview Diner for lunch. They asked us if we had been vaccinated, which is fine — and yes, we have been. We were seated in a booth and our server was great and checked on us several times while we were there. Food was good and coffee was refilled consistently. My wife had an omelette and my daughter had some kind of chicken sandwich. I had the beef gyro and it was very good. We all enjoyed our meals and our time there. Glad we found a diner to stop at on our way back to Jersey. We were beat and didn't need anything fancy. The parking lot is small and a bit tight so be extra careful getting in and out of your parking space!"

"I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered an appetizer, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."

"awesome! I have organized a party at the weekend in one of the party rooms. from the time I left the payment until the time of the party, the personal was wonderful. always available and accommodating. I was allowed to come early in the day of the event to decorate and the staff even helped. the food, the drinks and the waiters were amazing. we couldn't fit all balloons in the car, so they kept the balloons graciously and we picked them up the next day. I love this place. I hope that I will host other events and will definitely be regularly in the restaurant."

"Love this typical but way above average NY Diner. A small amount of parking available in front and more in the back. Easy in and out also right next to the train line. Clean and safe area. Wait staff is excellent, like a jump back in time. Food was good. Fish Chips lunch was great. Best tarter sauce EVER. Ckn salad club sandwich was good. Fries were great. Lemon pie huge w/ a delicious sponge type cake crust. Across the street the Jets or maybe it was the Sharks played bball an I kept waiting for them break out in song dance."

"I had heard a lot about this place and was really looking forward to the experience. I 'll start by saying that it didn 't live up expectations in some ways but was still a good experience. First of all, I 'll start with decor and atmosphere. For a higher end place I definitely expected a little wow walking in but it all fell a little flat. The bathrooms had plastic paper towel dispensers that didn 't even match the tile or anything. Rolls of toilet paper just stacked on the back of the toilet, and the doors were just frosted glass so I could see the figure of someone sitting and moving around as I waited. Kind of awkward when I met them as they walked out. My turn! Our seats felt more like just shoved in a corner surrounded by walls on 2 sides so half the party just had a brick wall for their view. It wasn 't cozy, it was just kind of poorly laid out. Secondly, our waitress was unfamiliar with most of the menu and had to look at it several times and ask the chef a few times. It took 25 minutes for her to get our drinks, and 45 minutes until she took our order. She fumbled and struggled just to open a bottle of wine as we just awkwardly sat there and watched and waited. Then she we come back ever so often and not even speak, just grab a plate or glass and walk off. It was nothing terrible just not what I expected from a higher end place. I expected a competent and friendly server and all facets of place to be similar theme and feel. But... All that aside, the food was delicious and the drinks were well crafted and good selection of wine. We had the meat and cheese board, mesh salads, a NY strip, a filet, 2 Ribeyes, and the pork chop. Everyone loved each item and we finished with creme brulee, bread pudding, and ice cream. We walked out satisfied and full. I probably won 't be back however at least not with any regularity."

"Everyone hypes this palace up, so we had to try. We will be back, but I don't think I will order the flat iron steak again. Ordered medium and it was dead when it came out. Potatoes were extra salty; all the stuff was not needed on top of the steak. Everything else was good. Service was good. Large menu. Update: 8/21/2022 we go here a lot. My mother goes here a lot because we enjoy it and it is usually consistent. Today was a different story for some reason. Some portions were smaller than normal. Side items were forgotten. Service was extremely slow and they were not busy. We gave up on trying to get more coffee and water. Everything was yummy as usual, but we were all a bit disappointed, unfortunately. The points program is good, so sign up if you plan on going back."

"We stopped for lunch after walking across the Brooklyn Bridge and it was a delightful experience! The restaurant had a cozy American diner decor and the service was quick, friendly, and comfortable. The menu was extensive, making it difficult to choose from so many options. In the end, we decided on an omelette and the Mexican chips with avocado dip. The chips were a bit pricey but definitely worth it - they were the best I've ever had. I highly recommend trying them! For dessert, we indulged in a cheesecake which had a delicious original taste and came in a generous portion size."
