"Overall, the food was decent. My steak was cooked as requested but lacked seasoning. Unfortunately, our waitress disappeared for long stretches, making it impossible for me to request some salt. On the other hand, my wife's sea bass was overly salty and nearly inedible. By the end of the night, we ended up spending $250 on a meal that was just okay. To add to the experience, we found the parking lot packed upon arrival, but they were offering free valet service. After our meal, I noticed a strange noise coming from one of my tires. Assuming it was just a rock lodged in the tread due to the gravel lot, I planned to address it in the morning. However, when daylight came, I discovered it was a screw, and my tire was completely flat. Rather than enjoying a beautiful morning at nearby nature preserves, I ended up changing a tire in the hotel parking lot and waiting nearly two hours at a shop to get it patched. This definitely put a damper on what I had hoped would be a lovely weekend. I reached out to Orchard, not seeking compensation but simply to inform them about the tire issue in hopes of preventing similar problems for other customers. Unfortunately, they never responded. Overall, I found the restaurant to be significantly overpriced for what they offered, especially when compared to high-end dining options in Columbus at similar price points. I'm disappointed not only by the meal itself but also by the lack of response to my message. The whole Orchard experience felt overhyped and underwhelming."

"For many more reviews, please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTRAVELS and EATWELLTRAVELOFTEN on Facebook. Travel has been limited for us lately, so finding new eats in our own backyard is our focus. Lately, we've been in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas, and today, we had brunch at Cretia's. This place has been around a while, and it's too bad we haven't checked in to it earlier. We've been missing out! Diane had the sweet onion quiche (today's) with fruit. One thing you notice right away is that every part of the quiche is handmade. The pastry was flaky and buttery, cooked to perfection. The quiche was soft but, once again, cooked just right. The use of cream is present but just adds to the flavor instead of overpowering the other ingredients. I really don't think it can be improved on. The side of fruit was large pieces of watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, honeydew, and cantaloupe. All very good. Diane doesn't usually like honeydew, but she actually enjoyed theirs. I had Cretia's salad. Chicken fried chicken, bacon, tomatoes, cheddar, croutons, deviled eggs, and a creamy maple balsamic dressing. The chicken was pounded thin, and the breading was just a dusting that was crunchy but delicate with just the right amount of seasoning. The chicken just melted in your mouth. The salad itself was crisp and fresh, and the maple balsamic dressing was really good. Not too sweet as some tend to be. Our server, Angie, was friendly, professional, and helpful with the menu. Cretia's is known for its bakery, so we had to take a few things home that we will review after coffee and dessert at home tonight. Overall, highly recommended two thumbs-up Update: Easter lunch with my mom and Diane's folks at Cretia's. Once again we had a great meal and enjoyed our stay. Our server was friendly, helpful and on the spot with service. The mom's both had the salad trio. Chicken salad, spinach salad and fruit. Dad chose the caramel and apple French toast. Was it good? Well, lets just say I thought he might lick the plate clean but etiquette won out. Diane had the days kiesh, spinach, and fruit. We've had the kiesh before and it was really good once again. I had the Davis street burger. The onion jam was a flavorful addition to the smoked bacon, egg and cheese. The fries were seasoned and cooked just right. Once again, everything was fresh and thoroughly enjoyed. We each ordered some dessert to take home. The desserts are just fantastic. The line goes out the door with those who just wanted sweets. The one thing I can't figure with this place it that the dining room is hardly ever busy. The desserts are good but so is the rest of the menu. We recommend you try everything! Update 6.17.22 Back again with another group of friends. This time with the Niçoise steak salad. Nice fresh greens and toppings and the steak was absolutely awesome. Tender with a very good marinade. Highly recommended 5 thumbs-up"

"I have many, often dimmed with my family, and they were far away from the last Labor Day Weekend. Usually we go as a big party 12 and the service meals are right. For so many people on a table, we usually support 2 servers. Instead, we had a server and she had 3 or 4 other tables. Drinks lasted 20 minutes, appetizers took about 1/2 hour to get out after the order. We had dirty plates on the table for about 25 minutes after finishing apps before I pulled the waitress to say something. They apologised and they cleaned and refreshed our waters. After about another 15 minutes and tables that sat after us, I got their checks, I went to the chef (scott) and complained what he said they were just plated. The food was very good, only a steak under boiled, but at that time it was hungry to send it back and ate the center. The thing that bothered me so much was that we were there to celebrate my births in law, the waitress remembered the cake when we came there and never got it. We also had two young girls at the table who were not served by a reservation until 9:45. For this kind of restaurant with this kind of prices, it had left us all dissapointed. We do not pay and have no great experience in the past, so we go there. It is hard to give them such a bad score, but for this experience they earn it unfortunately. My family and I go back, but next time they screw it up, we'll find somewhere else."
