"Great place to come for a special occasion only since you will be seated with the best table with a view. The first time I came, the waiter took us right up on the elevator. However, this time, the hostess took us up by stairs. Strange outcome for both times. The first floor is loud. However, the 2nd floor is much quieter if you want a nice, secluded and romantic even experience. It has better views than sitting on the 1st. The hostess tried to seat us on the 1st, actually, but my bf was not having it. The hostess did not seem easy to get along with she was not trying to please customers right away. My bf had mentioned he wouldn't be sitting on the first floor, and then the hostess sat us on the 2nd. What an unpleasant start off, actually. The first time I came, the host was professional and easy. This is our 2nd time coming here at this location, and it is the only Jean George restaurant that I've been to that has a brunch menu, Jojo was below average, however, I thought The fulton Jean did it right so we came back 2nd. My bf and I came here for Xmas Eve brunch. As requested, they sat us on the 2nd floor by a side facing view of the bk Bridge. The first time, we both were able to see the bk bridge. This time, only I was able to view it. Lol Our waiter was kind but spoke so fast with the drink menu, tbh I had no idea what he said and asked him to repeat it. We ordered the shrimp tacos and warm octopus, I really loved the shrimp tacos, which was a bit on the spicy side, My bf, however, said it was very spicy for him and took out the sauce lol that they spread in them lol. The octopus we had it the first time we visited was so amazing, so I had to order it again, and this time, I did not think it tasted as zesty as it did our first. For our main, I ordered lobster tail, and the presentation was perfectly laid out. However, it was served cold, and it came with in-house made chips. I usually do not eat all the chips, but these were so tasty I ended up eating all. Lobster Tail was just good lol but not great since it was served cold. Clearly, the bun was not toasted, and there was no attention to detail. My bf had the cheeseburger that came with fries and dipping sauce. The only thing was he asked for medium, but he said it was well done and was too dry. Lol. my bf is an amazing chef, so he knows immediately what's off. There were no customers in here for Xmas Eve bunch now we know why. Try harder."

"Located inside our hotel, the Hotel Monteleone, we were spoiled by how good their restaurant?s food was. This was our go to spot for beignets and brunch. Highly recommend staying here for the best beignets in the French Quarter of New Orleans and their award winning food. A beignet is a deep fried French pastry, with a flaky exterior (similar to an authentic French croissant) and a pillowy soft, layered interior. It?s topped with powdered sugar for an overall semisweettreat, but dipped in Praline sauce (a vanilla bean sauce with a touch of caramel) makes for a heavenly bite. Don?t bother going to Café Du Monde or Cafe Beignet, unless you prefer amusement park fried dough and sugar, this is the realdeal, French technique of a beignet. Crab Cake Benedict was made with blue crab from the Gulf, topped with poached eggs and ladled with Béarnaise sauce. Crab cakes are typically made with a ton of breadcrumbs, not enough crab meat, thiswas the complete opposite. Every bite was mainly fresh, well seasoned Cajun crab meat. Eggs benny and crab meat, what a perfect combo. Who would?ve thought?! Fried chicken and gravy, topped with a jalapeño cheddar biscuit is the way tostart a morning! Their fried chicken was so crispy and juicy, so well seasoned! The gravy was delicious, this stuff would be a Thanksgiving game changer, so rich and meaty. Dipping the biscuit into the gravy and topping it with some friedchicken made for a freaking epic bite! Can?t say enough about how wonderful the food here was. It?s a must go brunch destination! ?"

"Jean-Georges is excellent in presentation, ambiance, and service. Their staff is accommodating and thoughtful to your needs. Waiters and staff are attentive, and they work well as a team to service your table. You aren’t being disrupted but there appear to be 3-5 wait staff who take care of you while dining. The ambiance is low warm light, and high quality leather chairs and couches that are comfortably distanced from other patrons, (which I feel is uncommon in recent times). The pictures online do not do the restaurant justice. 30 ft high ceilings, floor to ceiling glass, clever elegant design and decoration, with a traditional dining layout. It is a very comfortable place to spend an evening. The food was excellent, and the cocktails were well balanced. We ordered the cheese ravioli and requested to have them split as an appetizer, and the presentation in the plates made us realize the level of fine dining being provided. The staff and restaurant will do what they can in reasonable fashion to accommodate you. Next was the encrusted salmon. My wife had never been happier with the texture and flavor of a salmon filet! She loved the leek and butter sauce, and paired well with the white wine. I enjoyed the colorado lamb with broccolini. The lamb was perfectly cooked, but in my opinion lamb doesn’t require any sauce and it was still excellently crafted. We shared the wild mushrooms, which I recommend but we felt that these were a little under seasoned. The luxurious experience of the Waldorf Astoria supports the excellence that Jean-Georges provides with dignity and humility. We will be coming back to enjoy the food and service again many times over!"
