"Our server, Kayla, was fantastic—definitely the best service we've experienced in a long time. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. As first-time visitors, we were a bit disappointed to find out that the menu was limited on Thursdays, especially since we were hoping for steaks. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the BBQ, burgers, and appetizers. The food was outstanding! The "Old Fashioned" cocktail could use a bit of improvement, but overall, Osso did not let us down. We highly recommend it!"

"I would highly recommend this restaurant – it deserves a full 10/10! We decided to treat ourselves to the chef’s four-course dinner and had no regrets whatsoever. We even calculated that we each received an extra $20 worth of food! The flavors were outstanding. Although the risotto with strawberries didn't initially look very appealing, we were delighted to find it packed with flavor. Everything else we ordered was equally fantastic, and the drinks were a highlight as well. The shorter drink was an incredible apple milk punch that tasted just like homemade apple pie, while the taller drink was a refreshing mocktail. Our server, Alisa, was lovely, and the rest of the staff were friendly too. While the prices are on the higher side, it’s definitely worth it for a special night out. We can't wait to return! Vegetarian options include focaccia, cheesecake, and other desserts. Plus, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible with no stairs."

"The Spiced Pear was one of the best dining experiences we've had, anyplace! The pre-dinner cocktail at the bar was fantastic; try the house signature Spiced Pear Martini, which was great. The bar and the dining room evoke a charming, old-world mansion type dining, which you would expect in Newport. Service was attentive and impeccable, with bartenders and servers in black pants/vest, white shirt, black bowtie. Menu consists of a pre-fixe 3 course meal (which we selected) or a 7 course tasting. All options on both menus were unique; the presentation as well as quality was excellent. Service was choreographed with 2-4 servers for each course, While we didn't do the wine pairings for each course, our server recommended glasses that perfectly complimented our entrees. Not sure this is the type of place you dine out on a weekly basis, but for that special occasion, I would highly recommend the Spiced Pear."

"I went with a group for a birthday. It was the worst service any of us had ever experienced. Our waiter only took a couple of drink orders and then left for more than 20 minutes before we checked in to take the rest of the table order. For the food we had to tell him that we had to order. Then he took 4 orders, went away and didn't come back. When we got him to come back after telling several other workers we needed to complete the order, he forgot that he had taken the first few orders. He finally took a few more orders and went, again not to every person at the table. It took 2 hours in total and the food came out at all different times. We were all honestly very confused about what was happening throughout our dinner."
