"You might think I'm just reusing an old account, but I've actually lived in Shelton for seven years, and one of the first pizza places I discovered was Artan's. Over the years, I've tried many pizzerias, but I keep coming back to this one. Their prices are competitive, and the food is consistently delicious. Their calzones are among the largest I've ever had, and I'm often pleasantly surprised by how well they do every new dish I try. I highly recommend it!"

"However, I found the fries to be disappointing, as they felt like an essential accompaniment that should come with a sandwich or pack. The menu now features Mediterranean options, along with Chicago-style Italian Beef Sandwiches and a variety of excellent salad combinations. They also offer create-your-own pasta dishes and the thin-crust pizza slices I saw looked much improved in appearance. Overall, this place seems to embody the essence of authentic Italian cuisine, making it a great spot for dining in or takeout. The Royal Chicken pack was exceptional. While I wasn't particularly impressed with their pizza, the new Mediterranean items are a fantastic addition. As always, the service was friendly and welcoming. I have a strong affection for this place; it's among my favorites. Just a note: the opening hours listed on Google are incorrect. They are Sunday to Thursday from 11 AM to 10 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 11 PM."

They informed me that I was looking at an old menu., they gave me a new menu which stated that the beef soup was actually $17. Additionally, when I ordered a pupusa, the chef informed me that the order comes with 2 pupusas. On the menu, it stated $3.50 for each pupusa. I didn 't have to place an order for two pieces. When I brought it up to the manager 's attention, he became defensive.Now, let 's talk about the food. The beef rib soup consisted mostly of vegetables with only one piece of beef rib, and it was super salty. It cost $17, and the pupusa were not good at all. It was more Maza it barely had any meat stuff inside. which I find it to be quite expensive. I have to agree with Angelina A who reviewed the restaurant three months ago, it 's definitely a rip-off.They claim to be a pizzeria, but it 's essentially it 's a Central American restaurant. "I informed both the hostess and the server that it was my friend's birthday, but nothing was done to acknowledge it. No one even offered us dessert before we ordered, and when our dessert arrived, there was no recognition of the birthday, which was quite disappointing. "I have been living in Ithaca for two years and this restaurant was the first time I felt like a minority. My husband, daughter, and I sat at our table for 20 minutes without anyone taking our order or bringing us water. Surprisingly, a white couple at the next table, who arrived after us, received their order 15 minutes before us. The waitstaff walked by us several times but completely ignored us. They took orders from people who arrived after us but wouldn't take ours. Many people who arrived after us got their meals before we did, leaving us waiting helplessly. When we tried to get the waiter's attention, they simply told us to wait, making us feel like we were the only ones being made to wait. I would advise against visiting this restaurant during peak hours if you are not part of the majority."

"My husband ordered chicken parmigiana and I had a roast beef sandwich. Unfortunately, the waitress seemed completely uninterested in us and spent most of her time at the bar, scrolling on her phone. During that time, she could have easily cut some lemons since she was gone for so long. Eventually, I managed to get her attention, and she brought out my husband's chicken parmigiana before heading back to the bar. I had to get up again to remind her that I was still waiting for my sandwich, which finally arrived when my husband was almost done with his meal. When I took a bite of the sandwich, the bun was hard and the meat was tasteless. The waitress asked if everything was okay, and I requested a box to take my food home. I mentioned I would add mayonnaise later. When I got home and looked at the meat, I was horrified to find it was gray inside, so I ended up throwing it away. The service and food were both terrible. It felt like the waitress couldn't be bothered to serve us and should have stayed off her phone. This was my second visit, and I really should have known better. I will definitely not be going back."

"This is our third visit to Genaro’s, and everything was exceptional as always. This time, we brought our 8-month-old, who was a bit fussy, so we asked our waiter, Tim, to bring out our food as quickly as possible. He did an excellent job, getting our delicious meals to us promptly and providing top-notch service, just like he always does. Genaro’s never lets us down, and tonight was no different. "To start, I ordered oysters, chowder, and sushi, and asked for each dish to be served after I'd finished the previous one. The waitress excelled at timing, which added to our enjoyment—sometimes it's the little things that make a difference. We began with a couple of drinks: I ordered my usual Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned, while my wife opted for a White Legal Sangria. I've had the Old Fashioned every Friday night at dinner, but I wouldn't recommend getting it here; it tasted more like bourbon and sugar water with no muddled dark cherries or bitters. On the other hand, the Legal Sangria was fantastic as always, and we sampled both the red and white varieties. Next came some warm dinner rolls straight from the oven, which were delightful. I believe Legal has some of the best rolls around, and they certainly didn’t disappoint. While we enjoyed our rolls, our half-dozen Wellfleet oysters arrived. They were fresh and delicious, and we paired them with both marinara/horseradish and mignonette. Shortly after, a cup of New England clam chowder arrived, and it was perfect—hot, with a great consistency, and packed with clams. I love Legal Seafood's New England clam chowder; there's no denying it. For my main dish, I ordered the Lobster Tempura Roll, which included avocado, lobster, tobiko, spicy mayo, and teriyaki sauce. It was a stunning presentation and a simple but perfectly balanced sushi roll, complemented beautifully by the spicy mayo and teriyaki wasabi soy sauce. It was absolutely delicious, and I left the table feeling satisfied. However, for the $31 market price, there wasn’t much lobster in the roll, which is why I’d rate the experience a full star lower. My wife’s Greek salad was fresh but disappointingly lacked feta cheese; midway through, she wasn’t even sure if it was feta or cotija. She ordered her salmon cooked medium, but it came out slightly undercooked in the center, so she didn’t eat that portion. Overall, it was good but not great. Unfortunately, it seems that they’ve significantly raised their prices, charging for great food that just doesn’t quite live up to that standard. In my opinion, it was average at best."

"It took one 1-1/2 hours to get a sandwich delivered, I ordered on the slice app and obviously my tip was not included even though I did add it in, so when I messaged on the app they told me that my delivery was supposed to be first and he did other deliveries ahead of mine, I’m sure he thought I was going to stiff him so he did my order last , they were able to include the tip after which I should have cancelled, and who the heck puts oregano on a bologna sandwich only you guys, please read the comment when an order is placed online because you never read them, and what a sloppy made sandwich bread was all wet and soggy because you put the pickles in the same wrap as the sandwich, I’m done with Slice and I’m done with your place. "This review is exclusively for the Self Service Pizza Slice side of the business. Sometimes, you're by yourself, in a hurry and want some pizza. Michel Angelo's has you covered. I never count, but they may have 10 or so different choices of pizzas. That's a lot of choices for a place that sells slices in CT. You pick a slice or two. Today, I picked bacon and onion, and pepperoni with ricotta. They put the slices on the spinning shelf in the pizza oven. You make your way to the register to pay. Something like $7, give or take, for two slices. A short time thereafter, they give you pizza on a plate and you seat yourself. You eat your slices. Is it the best pizza ever? No. But it's pretty good for a reheated slice. It's thin crust. The sauce is decent. Otherwise, it tastes exactly like you would think. You can't really expect much better quality for reheated pizza slices. You finish eating. As soon as you're done, you stand up, and out you go. This whole process may take 15 minutes at a busy time. Is this Max Downtown level service? No. But it's the exact service I'm looking for under these circumstances. It's also good value. Four Stars for the Pizza Slice Operation. They also have a sit down Italian side, but I'll save that for a different day."

"I had a fantastic lunch experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was incredible, and the service was exceptional, thanks to the friendly and attentive staff. I was welcomed with a warm smile from the hostess right away. The food was outstanding! I began with the seared tuna sashimi, which was perfectly prepared.
