"This is a fantastic spot for a small group outing. I've visited with some of my colleagues and truly enjoy the atmosphere. The hibachi chef is always entertaining and friendly. The rest of the staff is courteous, respectful, and efficient in their roles—never rude, just calm. I often forget to take photos of the hibachi dishes because they are so delicious that they disappear before I even think to snap a picture. The sushi here is among the best I've had anywhere. I managed to take a few pictures today before it was all gone. Currently, all the staff are wearing both masks and face shields for safety. This is definitely one of my favorite hibachi and sushi places in the area."

"Sushi is good as usual but thier pick up model is horrendous. They only allow one person at a time in thier hallway at a time. Meaning if your food is ready to be picked up great! But if your food isnt ready they work on your order, 5-10 minutes pass before each person is services and if your in a line of 6 people thats a 30 minute wait. I appreciate the owners trying to protect themselves from Covid but 1.5 hours to pick up sushi is unacceptable. There sre other establishments."

"The wait staff was fantastic, but unfortunately, our cook didn't make much of an effort to interact with us. It seems that I didn't receive the shrimp as mentioned on the menu, possibly because he didn't prepare enough. Additionally, my steak was cooked far beyond my preference. Overall, I don't think we'll be coming back. This experience certainly didn't justify the $130 we spent."

"It's okay for Japanese food. (I lived in Japan. It is hard for local Asian foods to meet the standards I had in Japan. I would certainly recommend giving this restaurant an attempt. The waitress and sushi cook were very friendly. Very tailored to my needs. The environment is warm and welcoming. When we come back, it will be more economical during the lunchtime, because I can't ever make my thoughts if I want Sushi or Hibachi. I'll buy some of them. I ordered our food. I'm sure it's much better in. The food traveled 12 miles. All we ordered was in the bag. She recommended the child's share because I don't eat much. The children's meals are quite large portions. I had leftovers. I sat in the sushi bar. I was entertained by the flaming sushi. I ordered my husband Hibachi Filet Mignon with shrimp combination, Hibachi shrimp children meal, spider roll sushi, spicy California roll sushi, gyoza, chicken yakitori and 1 drink (while I waited. It was over $60. We had many leftovers and enough to eat for my adult son. They liked what they ate. I loved the Gyoza. I liked the sushi over the Hibachi. To each of his own."

"Tiny little hole in the wall sushi place with a very generous lunch special offer on bento boxes. I chose the salmon teriyaki version though you can have your choice of tempura or katsu with a variety of proteins. There's not a whole lot of room, so get cozy. First off, a steaming hot miso soup was served to start off the meal. The bento box soon arrived and I was pleased with how much was included from four pieces of a simple California roll, 3 pieces of shumai dumplings, a small salad with a lovely peanutty gingery dressing, sliced carrots and steamed broccoli, freshly made jasmine rice and a thin but tasty slab of salmon teriyak on top of sauteed onions and green peppers. For less than $12, people! Take note for those who want to stuff their faces. Everything was delicious. The only thing I missed was a hot cup of tea served upon arrival, something I thought was ubiquitous at Asian restaurants but now seems to be only served upon request and for an additional fee."

"Last night my husband and I went into the restaurant( we normally do take out They're so attentive and friendly. The food is delicious! You HAVE to order the sushi pizza with spicy tuna. It's beyond anything I've ever ordered. My other favorite is the yoshi roll. You also cannot go wrong with their spicy tuna or spicy yellow tail either. They have so many other yummy foods like the lobster balls or the wasabi crackers. They're super accommodating. I have massive food allergies. You cannot go wrong ordering takeout from here or even better going in person. My absolute favorite neighborhood sushi spot! I never write reviews, but i feel like I had to come on and this after our experience last night. We left super happy and satisfied."

"Super fishy spicy salmon. INEDIBLE. 2 out of my 3 rolls I couldn’t eat, because I ordered one regular spicy salmon roll and one crazy salmon roll(which has spicy salmon in it). I ordered towards the end of the night, but I could tell this spicy salmonwas HOURS old. I have eaten spicy salmon from this place before, and it has been great, so that’s how I know this time theyserved me super old fish, asides from the fact that I know good sushi from bad sushi! It smelled fishy upon opening thecontainer, and then tasted like warm salmon that had been sitting out. A real shame, will not be ordering from here again. Iwill take my money elsewhere. The Japanese Bagel Roll also had no tobiko, unlike how it says in the description, which isfrustrating as I did not receive what I thought I was going to receive. Awful roll, take that off the menu!"

"Food was delicious. Unfortunately, my combination plate was a rip off. I’ve never, in all the years I’ve gotten combination plates, seen so little rice in my plate. Three full pieces of chicken and about 4 spoonfuls of rice. You’re better off paying full price for separate items than getting a combination plate. Paid $14 for that and got way less food than my full-priced lo mein/shrimp and broccoli/singapore noodles. Very disappointing considering how good the food was. Not worth getting a combination plate in the future. That’s my warning! Otherwise, def give Sakana a try :"

"The restaurant is very clean, and the servers are friendly and polite. The service is also fast and efficient. I love that this place can be casual or perfect for special occasions - I have dined here in jeans and a t-shirt, as well as dressed up for a date. Every time I have visited, I have been treated to a complimentary roll or dessert, sometimes both! I also ordered takeout once, and the experience was just as delightful. This place really prioritizes the quality of their ingredients, presentation of their dishes, and overall dining experience. They have won me over as a loyal customer. "I really like this restaurant. I don't come as often anymore because of some stomach problems but that's my personal problems. However, the food here is really really good. I have brought my mom here tons of times, and they even came with my cousin once, and a friend. Since turning 21 I have also had the pleasure to enjoy their cocktail menu, which is really delicious. I recommend the Hawaiian lemonade. It's probably my favorite drink to order. Also like that, they let you order out drinks as long as you come and show your ID, which is really nice when you want to have takeout but you also want some alcohol. I normally order a shrimp, tempura roll and steak hibachi. I recently also ordered their chicken wings with sweet chili sauce, which is also a really good dish. I recommend the food it's always fire every time I go. The ambience of the restaurant is really really nice. I love the decor and the music that's always playing. I will say that the restaurant really isn't made for a lot of people because the food always comes out slow even though there's never a full restaurant."
