"First time at this location. First table was wobbly. Then my grandsons cheeseburger was very charred. His fries were good though. My meal the lunch special was good I had chopped pork, jalapeño cheddar link and cole slaw. My husband had the ribs, brisket and beans. His was ok. He said the best was the beans and of course we all love the cornbread. My iced tea was good also....I feel they may have been short staffed. HOWEVER, if that's the case let me know upfront. IF I go back to this location action it will be a LONG time...comparing this and the Smyrna location is comparing apples and oranges."

"We usually visit this restaurant for breakfast. I ordered a sausage and cheese omelet, and we also got avocado toast. I had a decaf coffee and a large orange juice. Unfortunately, the coffee was cold, and it took quite a while for the server to come to our table, so I could mention it. When she finally returned, she brought me another cup instead of a fresh pot, and there was a bug in it. She did bring me a fresh glass with a pot afterward, but I would have noticed the bug if I had been served properly. I took a sip and immediately had to spit it out; it was disgusting. I find it hard to believe she didn’t see the bug while pouring the coffee. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and we won’t be coming back. I'm not willing to pay these prices and deal with bugs as well."

"Have been going to bakers square for 6 years now and will never go back. Shari was our waitress and was so rude every time we asked for something she made a face. Mind you we still left 20% tip, due to having manners after being treated horrible. Therefore she went to the back where she thought we couldn’t hear her and said I hate serving black people. What kind of restaurant has this become. Shari should be fired, if not I will take matters into my own hands with corporate."

"My wife and I dined here on 06/26/23, and had 2 major issues. 1. The restaurant was absolutely infested with flies. In case you didn't know if a fly lands on your food, it can transmit over 65 diseases to humans. To say that the fly infestation makes this establishment unhygienic is a hyperbolic understatement. 2. Baker's Square changed the recipe of their chicken tenders/fingers to a spicy, vastly inferior substitute. Please change your recipe back! Needless to say, we will not be returning here anytime soon, if ever."

"I haven't visited this restaurant in a while, but I was pleased to see that they are following Covid protocols very well. The service was excellent but not overbearing, and the food was consistently delicious for everyone in our group. We especially enjoyed the free pie on Wednesdays. I will definitely be returning for more great food and service during these uncertain times. Highly recommended!"

"I came to this restaurant for my birthday after not being there for a while. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress me this time. The coleslaw was subpar and the beef brisket was too fatty. The ribs were okay but not as good as they used to be. My son complained that the lemonade was watered down and my daughter didn't enjoy her burger. On a positive note, the cheese curds were tasty. The sweet pickles had a unique flavor and satisfying crunch, although I usually enjoy all types of pickles. The fries were pretty good and we all loved the cornbread muffin. The service was excellent, and there was a nice mix of music playing in the background. The restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere overall."

"The food was great!!! It was our first time in this location but our Server Maryann was awful. We asked if children eat free, she answered saying it was on Monday and Tuesday’s and added for no reason “obviously today is Saturday so no”. Then when the pancake arrived for my friend, she didnt have butter on it, we thought they forgot, we asked our server and she said it fell while getting off the tray and since we didnt ask she felt she didnt need to ask or bring out butter. Wow!! I truly believe Maryann doesnt like working on the weekends, its too overwhelming for her."

"I ordered the pick 2 combo with baked chicken and fish sticks, but I found the portions to be very small, and the food lacked freshness and flavor. The side salad was also on the smaller side, but it was tolerable. The dessert was decent. Overall, my bill was quite high at $81.00 for such small servings. I've had this dish before and was much more satisfied with the quality; this experience was quite disappointing."

"I was pleasantly surprised by the negative reviews! Every time we have dined in or ordered takeout from Famous Dave's, we have had a great experience. When you don't feel like cooking dinner, Famous Dave's is the perfect choice! Last night, we ordered the feast for two with BBQ beef brisket (you can also choose Georgia chopped pork). The portion size was huge and we will definitely have leftovers for days. Even though it's advertised for two people, it could easily feed four. The food was fresh, hot, saucy, and the fries were crispy - perfect 10/10! To top off our meal, we ordered a pie from Bakers Square. We selected the French Silk pie and it was absolutely delicious! Ordering through the app was super convenient and our meal was ready on time. The staff was friendly and if you're in the south metro looking for something tasty and different, I highly recommend trying Famous Dave's."

"Even though I made a reservation we had to wait minutes to be seated and that was after asking different hostesses . There wait for walk in was hrs. Once we got seated the service was ok. "Disappointing. I came here all the time with my family growing up and it was always amazing. The one time I go by myself and the waitress is complaining to customers how short staffed they are and just making excuses. She wasnt checking on tables and wentout of her way to avoid tables. She spent so much time playing and kissing a baby at another table and then got attitude. We satwaiting to get to go boxes for 45 minutes and tried calling her over several times. The waitress with the red hair and shavedunderneath and glasses did nothing for her customers but the black haired girl with a shaved head underneath was amazing."

"I can't believe how much everything costs now. For a long time, pies were only 8 or 9 dollars, but with the higher prices come higher taxes as well. I've decided not to return, and others I know feel the same way. It seems like some places are taking advantage of the situation. When has a restaurant ever reduced its prices after increasing them? As for the frozen pies at Braum's, they are pretty decent – especially with butter and sugar on top before baking. However, Village Inn used to have the best pie prices, but that's no longer the case."

"Village Inn is my favorite spot for breakfast and brunch! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Make sure to try the pumpkin pancakes while they’re available – they’re tasty without being overly sweet. I also love the strawberry crepes and the biscuits and gravy. The VIB option is the best choice, allowing you to select four items and add three more for just $1.79 each! You really can’t beat that. Plus, the pies are always fantastic!"

"There was no sign up stating we had to order ourselves. We sat for over half an hour and no one came to ask us about a beverage or an order. We had a Famous Daves where we lived years ago and the waitress or waiter came to us. They closed so when we saw one in Toledo we drove hours to enjoy the great food. We were extremely disappointed. Will never drive that much to go to a Famous Daves again."

"I absolutely adore this restaurant! My favorite dish is the southside rib tips, and their fries are incredibly delicious. I always make sure to order extra comebacksauce every time I visit. "Bring a friend who knows the heimlich maneuver. The decor is cool, the sauces great, and service was excellent. It got all those things right. But it's a restaurant. It serves food. The food was just not good at all. I thought the Burnt Ends sandwich would be safe. It looked good, smelled good, but all the meat was really though, gristly, and not really fit for a sandwich. The chunks were about half inch cubes. It was hard to chew them, due to the gristle. So, be super careful and bring a friend who knows the heimlich maneuver."
