"I was under the impression that this restaurant was entirely vegan. IT IS NOT! There are a few drinks that include cow milk. VERY disappointed when I found that out after I ordered it for pick up. The food is very good but just be aware and clarify to make sure that everything you order is *actually* vegan so you don’t end up ordering a non-vegan option. I don’t understand why, there are so many vegan options for sweetened condensed milk. I would gladly pay a dollar more to avoid animal torture for any beverage!! HappyCow needs to change the label of this to an all vegetarian place not all vegan! Updated from previous review on 2021-09-30"

"My wife and I just moved here a few months ago and the first task we had after finding a place to live was finding a coffee shop. We needed someone who could make decaf espresso drinks for her, but also carry, sell, and use single origin beans for my freshly made pour overs. We're very happy to live close to Cafe Steam! The beans they carry are quite good, but the staff is what really puts them over. Everyone is very friendly. Sadly, I don't know their names yet, but I've been recommended delicious beans, starting a punch card for discounts, and basically wholesale pricing on beans to use at home with their air tight canister for storage. We do have to find and pay for street parking on weekdays, but we can highly recommend Cafe Steam! Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"This has to be the most interesting ice cream place I've ever been too. I walked by it from my hotel at 3pm on a warm July Wednesday and happened to notice that both of their parking lots were nearly full. I was intrigued by that but thought it must be a misnomer because why would there be so many people at an ice cream shop... it's an ICE CREAM SHOP and we live in the world of dieting overload...!? However, an hour and a half later, when I was walking back to the hotel, I noticed the parking lot was a little less full, but still full. I decided to pop in to see if the place was empty...and it was not. So now I began to look at WHY this place had so many people during a time that the mini restaurant space should be empty, and I found many many reasons for people to come. In fact I now think that the business owner, whoever they are, might be a small business genius... Everything in the place was fun, from the funny sayings on the walls and tables, to the funny ice cream combinations, to the origin story by the door, to the funny daily bit of nonsense on their blackboard ...even the kids party nook. It's incredibly smart on their behalf to let the local customers submit names for their homemade ice cream combinations, which gives the customers a personal stake in the place. They also hold an annual art contest among the local students and hang the winning pieces in the hallway to the bathroom along with a picture of each student. They even sell shirts that would actually help customers advertise the place, and it's only a block away from a sports field where I imagine a lot of little league competitions take place. Having said all that, you're probably thinking, BUT HOW WAS THE ICE CREAM? Actually, really good.. very creamy. They only allow you two samples (and in my opinion, they should up it to three samples...because I probably would have bought two scoops if I could have tried just one more, but I settled on one because the two I tried didn't go together... . I tasted the German chocolate ice cream, which was phenomenal, but ended up buying the spicy chocolate. With the spicy chocolate, it was the first time I'd ever had brain freeze while also feeling like my mouth was on fire. It was a pretty sweet experience (pun intended . The customer service was excellent because they had three or four people working...again, unusual for an ice cream place,but also tells you that a lot of people drop by regularly. Half the tables were full of people and it gave the place a Date Night feel while also being family friendly. It had all the markings of a fun and classic ice cream shop, including a classic ice cream truck outside. If I were to give any suggestions (basically just to the owner it would simply be to up the decorations in the birthday nook. That corner was a bit on the bland side for a party nook. But other than that, probably the best ice cream shop I've ever been too ... and I'm a flight attendant who flies all over the world. "I was on a quick trip to Rochester to visit my farm. I wanted a healthy option for dinner. Pros: Looked pretty, Fast service via Door dash. Good value. Mango was nice and fresh.Cons: Please, for the love of all that is holy, stop using canned pineapple! Too much rice, not enough greens, too little toasted coconut and too little fried onion crisps. I could barely taste the Ponzo sauce and the tofu should be marinated in a smoke or oyster sauce first. Very bland and rubbery. A sliver of avacado.All in all, I wasn’t very impressed for a $12.00 meal that was mostly white rice."

"I don't think anyone needs to hear how amazing the food is at Olive Garden. If you love Italian food.. You're gonna be right at home here. The reason I'm leaving this glowing review, is the Excellent Customer Service. I know most of the people working hereare great at their jobs, but the night manager, Jonny, is the star of the show, and he will ABSOLUTELY take care of you and yourfamily when you eat here on his watch. We ordered carryout, which we frequently do, and we got a gallon bag of their deliciousMango Strawberry Tea, but we discovered there was a small puncture towards the top and it leaned out in our car on the wayhome. We weren't upset, but we figured we should call and notify them anyway, and not only did Jonny offer to refund our cardfor the tea, he had me come in and gave me another bag for free and a gift card for the inconvenience.. I would've been happywith his excellent attitude and a new bag of tea, but he went above and beyond and what happened as a result.. is a memorableexperience we will, quite literally, never forget. This is the new bar for customer service. Good luck to the otherrestaurants for trying to raise it"
